Can you make a video on "Scripted plays"
I want to add onto this. What would be JT's first 15 if he had to pick, and does the script ever get thrown out the window after the first few plays?
I second the suggestion for a scripted plays video. It would be so cool to see what coaches want to get, and get, out of the 15 play script.
Love these videos
How many alerts are off rotation (ex: throw the comeback away from rotation)?
Hey JT I’m a lefty QB and I start my shotgun footwork with my right foot slightly back, is having a slight drop step with my right foot a bad habit?
How about a video about the hurry up no huddle 😎
Need to come back when I have my full attention to focus on this
Hey great Video !!
Can you do a video on how to invent names for your plays so that you can call them more easily in the Huddle ?
I feel as if the names of my plays are just to long and I‘d rather spent more time looking at the defense before the play starts ...
Keep up the great work :))
Explain how progressions are taught then the alert concept is clearer ( I guess that what you saying but it be interesting to throw up a play and see you go from ideal read to alert. Idk just my opinion. Thanks)
The Davis Aggies was back in the Nick Garofalo days eh? My cousin coached some high school ball with him a few years back at Woodland HS, if that name means anything to you.
Hey JT,
3 high looks might be something we see more of in the future.
Could you break down how you’d teach a QBs presnap approach to them? Seems like they can they take away - or at least muddy - some of your traditional MFO/MFC coverage indicators.
Would appreciate it. Keep it up. 👍🏼
Talk about in course.
So there are 3 different meaning for alert?
🚨
Do a video on how to read a defense & offense & what defense to run
Defense School?
@@TheQBSchool yes. 🏈
I saw a photo of Tom Brady's wristband from roughly 2011. They had some plays on there that I found interesting:
42) 0 NEAR OPEN ZING 62 Y CAFE RAFT.
43) 0 HALF 62 UTAH F CAFE FLARE.
Do you have any idea what they are, and if there are any examples of them in action? I partially want to know because I am a big coffee drinker, so they caught my attention!
No idea. Did you google cafe route patriots?
@@TheQBSchool . Yeah, but unfortunately I just got results for cafes with names similar to Patriots.. and cafes to eat out on Patriot Day.
Now I'm hungry. For real, though, I'll let you know if I find anything.
Did some research: Cafe is a 3 man concept with a flat from the backfield, a curl from the rec, and a flag route from the Y.
Raft is a return route from the receiver and a flare route from the back.
If an offense came out in a formation with a tight end lined up next to each tackle, which side is the strong side?
Depends. All things equal, ie, hash/personnel, which they never are, I’d say the O’s right, D’a left. Most O’s are right dominate, especially, in the NFL with tight hashes.
@@TheQBSchool thank you for the response. new sub.
That was confusing. I need to Albans watch the original video.😂
CFB ANALYSIS: Sam Ehlinger, Feleipe Franks, Kellen Mond 🤷♂️

Love your Videos!! Huge fan since I was a child seeing you play and lead the Niners to a OT win in Seattle back in 2008.
🏈👏😁
Where can I get a QB school hat?
need to make them available
@@TheQBSchool Yes, thanks for the great content.
I usually use a alert when I see The safety getting close to the line of scrimmage
Thats like the Alert the pats use for support in the run game (which he talked about in part) 1 but JT is talking about Alerts in the passing game
Can someone explain “STEP ON HIS TOES”?
Close the space as fast as possible and get super tight to him
@@JohnnyMidey Oh okay. I thought they meant that literally.
@@JohnnyMidey you step on his toes then make a break inward behind the linebackers
