New Mercedes GLB Review // She really likes it.

  • The all-new Mercedes-Benz GLB is yet another compact crossover vehicle. based on the A-Class, small car family, the Mercedes GLB is sold as a GLB250 or more powerful GLB35. the new Mercedes GLB 250 comes with a 221hp 2.0l turbocharged 4-cylinder or a more powerful 302hp version. Both the Mercedes-Benz GLB 250 and GLB35 come standard with AWD. The Mercedes GLB is only slightly smaller than the GLC compact utility but can be equipped with a third-row seat option, making the new GLB a 7-seater. The third row of the GLB is only for small children under 5-feet 6-inches. The cargo space without the third row is very useful and many buyers will choose the GLB without the third row. handling of this small Mercedes GLB crossover is good, with a lively engine and car-like handling. It drives better than it looks. The big windows and boxy shape make this a great car to live with, providing excellent outward visibility but the styling differs a bit. The interior is a different story. The GLB interior is a modern showcase of Mercedes design featuring the large MBUX system that comes with a standard 7-inch screens or 10.25-inch screens. The track-pad based system is rather intuitive and quick to reply to commands.

I personally own one for my 50th BDAY Gift and I LOVE IT! Especially the VIEW of the HUGE Windows. The Cabin is HUGE and AMAZING LOOKING with the Technology and the Ambiance Lighting at night feels like a Spaceship! Traveling is a Compelling Feeling especially in Sport mode! Compact Crossovers is the Trend so why not go CLASSY & STYLISH with POWER & LOTS OF ROOM...GO MERCEDES😁❣

Zac and Andrea is fast becoming my favorite car reviewers on TH-cam. The content is both honest and real. Most reviewers out there are just too robotic, scripted and way too produced. Motormouth reviews feel real and natural and just great.

This review is crazily similar to how I feel. I went to the benz dealer and they had no gla in stock so I tried the glb available with amg interior. I found the outside hideous so never looked into it but once I got in and drove it I loved the interior and how swanky it is and how fun to drive. Thanks for the video

GLB is one of my favs, it was between this, Q3, X3, Maccan and GV70 for me 2 months ago, but I went with GV70 at the end, but I still love this SUV. It was a very difficult decision.

  • @sammyg4806
    @sammyg4806 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

I got this, we traded a 2021 RDX for the 2023 GLB. The wife wanted the beige interior, so we didn’t get the AMG line package. But we did get the wood, third row, pano roof, big screens, optional rims and lighting package (among others). The total without the crazy PR taxes however around $53-55k without taxes the real price is $71k (crazy! I know!)
Still, this review is on point. On the outside, I was underwhelmed at first. The car looks like a subcompact, even though, dimensionally, it is a compact SUV (perhaps the only 3-row on the luxury segment).
On the inside is much bigger, the leg room and head room on the second row, beats out the RDX’s. The third row, I did try it (I am 6’ tall) and my head would be slightly pressed against the roof lining. However, we have fitted 5’7”-5’8” adults back there with some strategic first town and second row positioning.
The initial torque feels a lot peppier than the RDX’s despite have about 50 less in Hp. The interior lighting at night is fantastic, and overall, with the proper options it does feel like a proper Mercedes.
Definitely, a very surprising vehicle in terms of what you expect at first glance, and what you actually receive after exploring the interior of the vehicle.

I had never driven any of the smaller Mercedes SUVs but I was at my neighbor's house two days ago and he has 3 GLKs and we had to go somewhere so I drove one of them and it was really nice, roomier than I thought it would be too. I am a fan of thick steering wheels, to me BMW makes the best steering wheels, hands down. I might have to check out the new small Mercedes now and see how they compare to the GLK. I still don't think these massive screens are necessary in these vehicles, I don't think I will ever be a fan of them.

Does anyone know if the 4-magic requires all 4 tires to be changed out at once? For instance on Jeep’s if you blow out 1 tire you have to replace all 4 or the different tire diameter confuses the 4 wheel drive system and eventually will damage it? I know there are different types of AWD systems and would like to know for this brand. Thanks!

Column speed shifter is the best thing in auto. Especially the way Merc implemented it. Once you drive one and do some manoeuvrings in tight spaces you will understand.
Had a GLK and now a GLC. Wish they'd have kept the boxy shape.
Drove the GLB, it rides super sweet but the GLC feels more competent. I believe the new generation will be a masterpiece

I don’t understand why we need another CUV. All the german car manufacturers are guilty of introducing too many crossovers thereby diluting their brand. Imo Mercedes-Benz have always been blingy, too ostentatious for my taste. Audi is too tech focussed with all touchscreens. I think BMW does a better job in doing luxury right (e.g. X7) even though they are accused of not being modern enough. With re: to handling and driving dynamics, I wish the manufacturers make it a priority which off late hasn’t been one, imo.

It has 258 foot pounds of torque. These motors push a lot of torque at lower RPMS which mean quick launches and easy city driving. Quick ratios for the first few gears help too.

Looks pretty good... My wife likes MB and I want to like MB but I don’t. I own two. I won’t be buying any more in the future. Why not? MB is not junk but has too many mechanical issues and repairs for how expensive they are. It’s not acceptable.

Mercedes should go back to there original roots where they use to have the most plain interiors.even in the top luxury cars.that dashboard is really overkill.

It’s sad to see that all those wonderful and in depth videos he made, that his most popular one is with her in it. I know why. It’s bc a girl in it. And since many of the ppl watch car videos is guys, it’s quite a shame that there are so much immature men that clicked on it for the sole reason there’s a woman in it.
