    Very helpful, I am looking at getting a similar model to this one very soon, great to know it can be converted to an upright band saw, great video!

    Salve ,come hai fatto a far alzare la lama in verticale , a 90 gradi essendoci il blocco ?

  • @nadirpierantoniocusini7265
    @nadirpierantoniocusini7265 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    per metterla in verticale , basta solo togliere il blocco o bisogna fare delle modifiche , grazie

    Hi. Awesome videos! I just had a question.. How much TPI on you sawblade? And can you cut very thin metal with it? Approx 2mm stock?

    • @BlackBeardProjects
      @BlackBeardProjects  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! I'm sorry I don't know about TPI, it's a fine metal cutting blade, and yes it can. I cut thin steel and aluminum sheat too with no problem :)

    • @demianmastenbroek1883
      @demianmastenbroek1883 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Black Beard Projects I ended up buying a 14tpi blade for my FMB bandsaw . Not the fastest cut but way less messier then with the angle grinder. :)

    Im thinking of getting a saw like this. Different brant, but looks almost identical. Do you recommend it? I thinking either this or the evolution rage series mitre saw ones. I Think the evo might be much faster, but I like this idea that you can also use it as a normal bandsaw for curved stuff and small parts.

    • @BlackBeardProjects
      @BlackBeardProjects  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sure! I love this machine. I use it all the time, it earned a fixed place on my already very small workbench :')

    • @brukernavnfettsjit
      @brukernavnfettsjit 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks I went an bought it already. Returned the first one, was very inaccurate and some bits fell off haha. Second one is better. Cuts very clean, but not 100% straight. It's a bandsaw anyway, so not something I expect super high precision from. And I think it's the best and most versatile option when you build a table for it like you did. I'll convert mine too! :)

    omg this is an awesome build but i just Wonder how did u get ur saw to hold at 90 degrees mine will just fall Down Thanks in advance!

    • @BlackBeardProjects
      @BlackBeardProjects  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks mate! :) I place a tiny wooden block under the green part of the saw so that it can't get lower and extend over 90° A better solution would be a bracket from the base to the green part but so far I had no problem to use it as is :D

    Just bought my Nebes saw today same model but how do u get the saw to go full 90 degrees? mine doesnt go full way.. :/

    • @BlackBeardProjects
      @BlackBeardProjects  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You need to take off a black bolt near the hinge that block his movements :) After you have done that you can set it at any angle you want! If you can't find it send me a pm and I will take a photo for you my friend :D

    • @Druls8

    In the vertical position, how many inches (or cm) would you say is between the blade and the saw body (i.e. left of the blade)?

    • @BlackBeardProjects
      @BlackBeardProjects  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I need to check if you want the precise measure, around 10-12 cm :) Not much!

    • @dcarson
      @dcarson 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'd super appreciate it if you checked! I'm looking at a similar saw which has about 3 inches (7.6 cm) of clearance but max miter of 45 degree vs your saw's 60 degree. Here is that other saw: m.northerntool.com/products/shop~tools~product_200660083_200660083?adv=false
      My current portable metal band saw (Milwaukee) has ZERO clearance! So the longest cut I can do is the depth of the throat - 5 inches (12.7 cm); if I flip the piece and cut on the same line I can get it to 10 inches (~25cm). Which isn't a lot.
      Love your TH-cam videos btw!

    • @BlackBeardProjects
      @BlackBeardProjects  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's about 9cm. I overestimated :')
