I never understand how people can dislike videos like this???? How cool would it be for someone to walk into your shop and say “What brand metal cutting saw is that?” Answer: “Mine”. Great videos! Please keep them coming!

When I first started watching this come together, I have to admit that I thought it was a waste considering that you could go out and buy a cutoff saw, but when I saw it in action, I am seeing something that is a BEAST that cuts through metal like it's butter, and it's much more accurate than any cutoff saw I have ever owned or used. I am definitely impressed, and I can see where this machine will last you for years to come. Excellent job.

You must get immense satisfaction from all this manufacturing and I know there are many of us out here that really appreciate each and every post you put up.

    Very cool idea, well done.
One improvement: you need to turn the gas spring around. The current installation does not allow for the top seal to get lubricated! The oil sits at the bottom of the cylinder. Turn it around and it will last forever. No dirt will sit on the seal either.

Great concept, nicely executed! One suggestion for improvement: you should reverse the gas spring. The way it's currently installed prevents the top seal from getting lubricated, causing the oil to pool at the bottom of the cylinder. If you flip it, it will extend its lifespan and keep dirt off the seal as well.

Thank you :) All dimensions depend on the parts you buy. The engine I used has a power of 1.5kw, rotation 1400 rpm. Pulley ratio 1: 1. I used a belt with a total length of 1100mm for the construction. Bearing shaft Chinese from a circular saw for wood, with a shaft thickness of 20mm, for the saw blade to be mounted, you also need to buy a reduction ring 20 / 25.4, because carbide blades usually have a hole diameter of 25.4. When you complete these parts, you will set the dimensions yourself, as I did in the video, because I did not do the plan, but I matched the entire project for the parts that I collected.

Bro u are something special mate.. I haven't worked with metalwork of any kind since my youth in secondary school but I'm at 51 yrs of age getting back into it now.. I want to learn these skills but I have to take it slow enough so as not to kill myself. I've also begun to weld again. I love woodworking but I also caught the metalworking bug again.
Do u build all the tool in ur shop now? I watched the video of ur Metal Bandsaw build and I was blown away my friend. U have mad skills. I love the Bench vise u built with the hydraulics on it.. LOL.
That was one sick build bro. I will keep watching from now on bcos I know I will learn a lot from a guy like u. Where are u from mate?? U don't speak on ur videos which is a shame but the work speaks for it self in spades man. Keep ur mad skills out there bcos they're becoming lost in a lotta ways in today's world. Most young ppl want easy money and do not want to have to work hard for it. It's a real shame bcos u have so much to teach ppl and the skills u have are skills that help ppl to survive out in the real world.

Finely, someone who uses their four inch grinder to build a proper chop saw! Nice job. Fyi, on your mag drill,a friend mounted the magnet from one upside down in a hole on his bench. Worked great for holding pieces to grind or wire brush.
