- Hope this helps some that are building a B14 kit or even a B24 kit (assembly is similar except for the cab install). This is an updated version with newer driveshafts, metal ring and pinion gears, new leaf spring material for more durability and painted chassis rails. This is a long one! Mine had the wrong size screws included in the kit but I was still able to build it. I'm sure if this happens to your kit you can contact wpl and they will take care of you. Now go build your rig so you can Run That Rc!

I just got a C34 for the channel. It's a standard kit, but it drives like a dream! I never thought it would be so amazing! I really love how WPL has been updating their later products as well and not just focusing on the new ones

Perfect wheel weights for the WPL is a wrap of 5mm solder cut to size around the centre rim and just a little electrical tape to hold the solder weight
Thanks for the kit tutorial!! I’m working on a B36rtr and B24K. I was worried on how to wire the 370 motor upgrade and you nailed it for me. I use 2.5mm cap screws to hold my wheels on,especially on the metal axles of the KM kits.

Hey if you guys want a cheap way to have wheel weights you can just add small fishing sinkers which was what I did which did help and you can pretty much find them any where but only use the little ball ones. Oh and the way I got it on the wheels was just hot glue but whatever works

Cool little rig, i always love watching a kit get built. Do you know if the B36-3 has the plug for the speaker on the board as well?
I believe this new ESC receiver doesn't have a sound function and only 2s capable as well.
I also use that trick from Phil/Tomley.
Hey, theres an RBR/C WPL C24 on banggood now, its proportional, painted white. It seems to have C14 front, different rims. Looks like its a kit version but assembled with some changed details. Would be cool if you could get one and show it in detail :)

not too bad for sure. I still prefer the 2 speed with 370 motor to power my WPLs.
Yeah. I order one for my mn99s.
But I test the hobbywing with 3s lipo on the stock 260 motor and it really boost the Power 👍👍
I just got one that looks like this but it says b36 and it doesn't have proportional steering it's got the shiny frame I ended up with the very first version all these years later just my luck lol 😆 😀 😄

@@RunThatRC I know right it happened to me twice got me with the older version of the wltoys brushless coggy 1/12 buggy lol oh well I still like them I just got the diecastmasters 1/16 rc skid steer and it's really heavy and it still hauled it but the tires came off

yup! even the new RTRs are full proportional.
how well do these play next to each other like do the frequencies clash and you cant drive a few at a time next to themselves? Jus curious
if you use 2.4ghz you can run multiple trucks at the same time. The WPL unit im running is 2.4ghz as well same as the ready to run version.
Is this the Kit metal (KM) version or the kit version ?

How's the reliability of the WPL V2 esc/board and transmitter did you have any failures and will it drive motor larger than the 180? thanks
I haven't had a v2 or v3 fail yet. I do run in water and have additional waterproofing done to them. I also haven't maxed out the esc receiver combo by using all the ports and functionality so that may be a factor.

Bro i want to install a servo for turning front wheels right or left ang i have question did you just used STOCK remote controller? I mean i have this car and i want to install servo in it so idk can i use remote controller from the box with car when i install servo or i need to buy other one like more professional? And will it be proportional?
unfortunately you would need to change the esc receiver combo with one that is proportional. Either go with the new wpl Esc receiver combo with lights, sound and winch function built in or your own stand alone electronics.
How do the headlights lock in?
press fit. with a tab to gd the led in.
