You can use Spotify but you need to use your smartphone in unison with having Spotify in oculus browser open. You need a premium account I think though.
The pass-through feature is very appreciated especially when they bring us full body tracking. I don't want to kick my daughter's dog across the room it'll be funny but the dog won't appreciate it.

Got the update on one of our headsets this morning. Tried to take a video screenshot of myself looking at myself in the mirror with the new space sense feature enabled. First thing I noticed is that video playback on the 2d player suffers badly with the feature enabled. The second thing is that I'll have to make a video with scrcpy to film the cool new feature in action. The stutter during 2d playback with the feature enabled makes me wonder how well this is going to work during gameplay The push toward progressive web apps is a performance choice. They will operate much better in multitasking situations
These features have only just released. Like every other new feature there will be bug fixes over time. It's also the reason on of the reasons updates roll out slowly rather than being en masse. (Server overload would be another reason to not update everyone at the same time.)
I updated to v34 and Passthrough API apps do not work without enabling experimental features. I didn't see any mention of that in v34 changelog. AFAIK it should happen with next SDK release
I had an issue on Windows 11 where the Oculus app asked me to reinstall it and when I tried to it would just fail when it tried to set up the drivers. A full Windows 11 reinstall helped though so there are definitely some problems with it but once it's installed it works the same as on Windows 10 for me
This is a good time to buy one. The quest is decently priced , it’s constantly getting updated with new features. The headset is awesome and most games are compatible on it. Also who knows when another headset will come out and how expensive it might be.
I have had my oculus since august 2021. I'm still a fairly new user to oculus, but not new to VR. This is so helpful! My controllers will always hit something on my play area, and then sometimes lose sensing, and I gets scared I'll break my controllers! But this stops that!

I think the dots in the home environment are not for inviting people… I always see them when I reactivate tracking. The are in a square grid all over the floor when the quest is regaining it‘s position.
I got my new phone and I was about to ask if you can add 4k to your videos because my new phone supports it, but I saw that it was using 1440p then I see 4k, thanks for supporting 4k on your videos :) Also SpaceSense will be annoying for me as if I make my guardian bigger than my room itself because my play space is not big enough to have it not being annoying to play without it being in the way.
Instead of downloading the update from your PC and sideloading it to your Quest 2, You can enter the USB Boot Menu by holding the power button and the Volume Down button at the same time. Then click “Sideload update”.

Note: after I turned the space sense feature back off again, I played Westworld Awakening and punched our wardrobe when a bad guy started stabbing me

I already listen to music while I play my SteamVR games. All I do is pin a TH-cam screen to one of my hands and make it really small.
How do you pin it to your hand??

I've been looking to buy a VR headset And I've broken it down to two options either the rift s Or quest 2 Which one is more worth it to buy??
quest 2, its has better displays, can connect to a computer like a rift s but wirelessly, weighs less, and doesn't have to be connected to a computer
