The best way to improve graphics on the quest is to get a good pc and use the oculus link cable ;D But, the Quest game optimizer is faaantastic. Used it on warhammer battle sister at 150%, and it felt like finding my glasses.
If the cable helped to improve the quality of graphics in offline games, then of course it would be great. More precisely, if it were possible to use the power of a PC to improve offline games on Quest 3, that would be interesting.
Can anyone answer if the QGO also can improve the sharpness outside of launched games? Menus, Home environment and such? I saw it mentioned in the QGO itchio but I wonder if the general settings have options for general higher res outside of games. EDIT: Ah, I saw someone having "Home" category in the Apps.
I got the exact same issue. Set the headset to developer mode, downloaded and installed the app (on Quest), open settings (which always seem to open behind QGO), enabled developers options, enabled wireless debugging (after first switching off "Use developer options" otherwise no enabling possible) and clicked always allow on this network, pair device with code, filled out code, keep the red banner. I can repeat this so many times, yet the result is always the same. Anyone know of any solutions? Update: After switching off (actually choosing switch off) and turning back on, I was able to sucessfully repeat entering the pairing code and removing the red banner. After this, the battery life was all but gone, so I hope that after a recharge, the banner won't return. :)
I tried many times with the code and never worked, then I tried to move the setting screen over the QGO screen. Like overlapping almost. Entered the code, then voilà it worked!!!
Why would you need this for pcvr?. That's why you have a pc. Linkcable you can set in meta app on desktop what you want and in steamvr can push it further. Or virtualdesktop
And where would you look on the forum for any blanks of QGO settings for games such as Batman Arkham Shadow (I know the graphics are already good there, but I wonder at what frequency the game initially works? ) , Escape from Wonderland and others .
Of course it is meta quest optimizer. 12 dollars and then about 3 hours depending on how tech savvy you are to dk around with it. In 9 out of 10 situations ot is friggin awesome. That 1 time? It glitches the headset and prevents user from getting to Internet browser in vr set
Why do you think you have a pc? Yeah to set all the settings. This is for the headset set with standalone games. The resolution and stuff that yoir pc van handle is for everybody diffrent and you have to set how you like it and what's best for yoir pc system
Well yes and no. You can increase the CPU and GPU level when using PCVR, but it's not affecting PCVR resolution or performance at all. However, if you are playing PCVR and recording the gameplay with the Quest3, and getting lag because of it, because the Quest3 is struggling to decompress the stream and record at the same time, then increasing the GPU level can help with this.

What is GCO
I will try it!
So im wondering what i now really need to do with my quest3s, i really need to buy and install 4 apps to run this standalone?
I own a quest 3s so if you own a quest 3 then what i'm saying here may not be valid for you.
I personally don't find QGO as good as a lot of people make it out to be. Don't get me wrong it's definitely improving my games visuals just people make it out like its a massive difference when it reality for me personally I don't think it's as good as people say it is. This definitely depends on the person but in my experience if a game your playing is enjoyable I doubt you'll truly notice a big difference when you're really into what you're playing
Can you get side quest without a pc?
2560px CPU Ultra GPU Ultra FFR Medium is my go to preset. Don't put FFR to Very High tho, medium or high max.
Good video!
The FFR is supposed to get lowered down to look better
headroom is always needed :)
@ that is true
The best way to improve graphics on the quest is to get a good pc and use the oculus link cable ;D But, the Quest game optimizer is faaantastic. Used it on warhammer battle sister at 150%, and it felt like finding my glasses.
If the cable helped to improve the quality of graphics in offline games, then of course it would be great. More precisely, if it were possible to use the power of a PC to improve offline games on Quest 3, that would be interesting.
100% let the pc do the heavy lifting and protect your eyeballs and do not let the quest heat up
@@laxlyfters8695 make non sens quest 3 native dont use a pc !?
Can you use a cheap pc?
Can anyone answer if the QGO also can improve the sharpness outside of launched games? Menus, Home environment and such? I saw it mentioned in the QGO itchio but I wonder if the general settings have options for general higher res outside of games. EDIT: Ah, I saw someone having "Home" category in the Apps.
Yep, it can
@@Tyrielwood Thank you kindly, amazing!
I just wanna know will this improve my playthrough with blades & sorcery nomad?
yes
Someone tried this with quest 3 vrchat? Is possible to get more frames and resolution?
Yes, it works with vrc. You can also use sidequest and it's free
I paired my headset but the red banner is still there?
@Chris_Oostveen i kept putting in the code and it finally worked.
I tried many times with the code and never worked, then I tried to move the setting screen over the QGO screen. Like overlapping almost. Entered the code, then voilà it worked!!!
does that work for quest 2?
Can the quest optimizer be set to work with Steam VR games?
No, it's working with the standalone Meta Quest apps/games.
adb didnt go green
does the resolution boost stay when i play pc vr?
Thanks! 🍻
would this work for pcvr?
Why would you need this for pcvr?. That's why you have a pc. Linkcable you can set in meta app on desktop what you want and in steamvr can push it further. Or virtualdesktop
Quest Games Optimizer on sale right now for 5.99 until 11/3/2024
What is the game at 00:25 ?
Metro Awakening
And where would you look on the forum for any blanks of QGO settings for games such as Batman Arkham Shadow (I know the graphics are already good there, but I wonder at what frequency the game initially works? ) , Escape from Wonderland and others .
What if on a Mac since u speak of pc?
Everything works perfect with installing from a Mac. I just tried it.
I spend all this money on a head set and I have to do this
Mine won't go green
Holy cow I’m exhausted 9:29
quest tuner does exactly the same thing but uses an ai to give you auto settings for all games.
Of course it is meta quest optimizer. 12 dollars and then about 3 hours depending on how tech savvy you are to dk around with it. In 9 out of 10 situations ot is friggin awesome. That 1 time? It glitches the headset and prevents user from getting to Internet browser in vr set
Tell me if -
it works with in PCVR mode !!!
no i didn’t watch this video but i can already guess. it changes software texture resolution. link is just a mirror of your pc so wouldn’t work
Why do you think you have a pc? Yeah to set all the settings. This is for the headset set with standalone games. The resolution and stuff that yoir pc van handle is for everybody diffrent and you have to set how you like it and what's best for yoir pc system
Well yes and no. You can increase the CPU and GPU level when using PCVR, but it's not affecting PCVR resolution or performance at all. However, if you are playing PCVR and recording the gameplay with the Quest3, and getting lag because of it, because the Quest3 is struggling to decompress the stream and record at the same time, then increasing the GPU level can help with this.
@Nago15 makes sense, let's wait and see for someone to confirm it
This guy is beautiful ❤
You did not reply to my questions in the past, I try again maybe you will be so “gentle” to do it. What is meta premium subscription? Do you need it for anything really valuable if you own a meta quest 3? I am interested in games as well as productivity tools. Thx
