The thing that will always fascinate me about Colin was his spontaneous nature and constructive view of the world. He thought so far outside the box that it looked microscopic from where he was standing. He could fire off wacky ideas like a machine gun. And what astonishes me is that he accomplished all of this before he hit 20. I'm still subscribed to his channel to this day just to keep paying respect to him. before colin, i had lost all hope in people; when i met him i was in horrid relationship with someone who was, in a subtle way, abusive towards me; they were really manipulative to me & would make me feel really guilty if i didnt do what they wanted. when me & colin got together (and the garbage that loser put me thru wouldn't make me feel awful anymore) i told him about all the things that loser had done to me & you know what happened? he cried. he cried because -I- went thru this. he told me after that he'd never lay a finger on me that i didnt want. before him, no one had ever told me that before & that really meant a lot to me. its little things like that that made me fall for him even more, even when he was stuck in a hospital bed for months

I hate how he was just one year older than me. I hate how all the good people is passing away recently. I hate cancer, as it is a disease that's taken already 6 people I care for IRL aside from awesome youtubers. But I love kitty's videos. I love the way he inspired the youtube community into Gmod. I love how he made me laugh each time I saw one of his vids. I love how he passed away happy and with the support of his friends and family instead of sad, alone an full of pain. I love the mark he's left on each of his subscribers' hearts. And I love that he's being and will be remembered. Forever.

Even though he left us, he still makes us laugh. The videos he made from then to now were made to make us happy and cheer us up, and they do up to this day. First we need to obviously get that emotional barrier to wear off, as it somehow blocks us from watching his videos... but after that, we should not be afraid. It's like visiting your dead uncle's grave who died just three months ago. You feel sad and you have loads of emotions on you, but you still come here. The memory of him is still fresh and it should be kept that way, put a candle on his grave and sit down for a bit - think of how you met, how you had so much fun, how he was part of your childhood. Same goes to Kitty, you goddamn bastard... why does everybody needs to *go* so quickly? Why won't they just live forever...

I didn't know he died. I always found his animations hilarious, but hearing about his death, too many people die, too little live a long enough life, if only all people could die of simply aging. When I heard the news that Colin had passed away, I was absolutely devastated. He was one of my primary motivations in getting into Gmod animation; I always loved how he would put so much energy into his videos, like every single second always had something funny happening. I eventually got to talk to him, even became friends with him and not once did he ever complain about his circumstances in life. He was always moving forward, always wanting to share his ideas and experiences with others. I only wish that I could've talked to him more and got to know him better. As incredibly cheesy as this might sound, as long as he continues to live on in our memories Colin won't ever be truly dead. I will always remember him for being a crazy, fun and AWESOME guy that we all know and love. Rest in peace my friend... you've left us with unforgettable years of memories.

When I heard he died,I looked at my screen and I just said to myself,”Why?”. I was a young lad when I saw some of his videos,my favorite was moments with heavy:Heavy goes bowling. I guess you could say I was also late to the funeral. Except I didn't know he was dead until years later. I just assumed he took a break or something. So for 4 straight years I patiently waited for a Deadman to come back to his channel. And when I found out he wasn't coming back, it hit me like a fucking bus going full speed. He was my idol. His and Ed from Edworld's deaths marked the end of a golden age on TH-cam that'll never be repeated again. This destroyes me everytime... Kevin Elric I first met him from the "Elliot Goes to School" series. He was one of the funniest people I ever knew on TH-cam at that time. Later on in life, I forgot him. Not completely of course. My memory of his videos were brought back in a conversation with a friend. I went back to his channel, and was so exited to watch again. I have just now heard of his passing. I'm in tears right now.

before colin, i had lost all hope in people; when i met him i was in horrid relationship with someone who was, in a subtle way, abusive towards me; they were really manipulative to me & would make me feel really guilty if i didnt do what they wanted. when me & colin got together (and the garbage that loser put me thru wouldn't make me feel awful anymore) i told him about all the things that loser had done to me & you know what happened? he cried. he cried because -I- went thru this. he told me after that he'd never lay a finger on me that i didnt want. before him, no one had ever told me that before & that really meant a lot to me. its little things like that that made me fall for him even more, even when he was stuck in a hospital bed for months

I found it as the most fitting quote I could get, because of how true it is. Even though he left us, he still makes us laugh. The videos he made from then to now were made to make us happy and cheer us up, and they do up to this day.
First we need to obviously get that emotional barrier to wear off, as it somehow blocks us from watching his videos... but after that, we should not be afraid. It's like visiting your dead uncle's grave who died just three months ago. You feel sad and you have loads of emotions on you, but you still come here. The memory of him is still fresh and it should be kept that way, put a candle on his grave and sit down for a bit - think of how you met, how you had so much fun, how he was part of your childhood.

Three weeks later and I'm still hoping to wake up the next morning and be glad it was all just a dream. I never knew him personally, and he wasn't really that big of an influence to me-- not to the degree he was for others, anyway --but still, I can't count a single second during any of his videos that I didn't have the biggest grin on my face. The guy was one of a kind, to be sure. And though he may be gone, he'll never be forgotten. Mourn not his death, but instead celebrate the life he lived.

Kitty0706 got me into TF2, Half-Life and L4D; Kitty0706 inspired me to create, Kitty's videos were what got me through my teenage years and I still can't believe he's gone. When I heard the news that Colin had passed away, I was absolutely devastated. He was one of my primary motivations in getting into Gmod animation; I always loved how he would put so much energy into his videos, like every single second always had something funny happening.
I eventually got to talk to him, even became friends with him and not once did he ever complain about his circumstances in life. He was always moving forward, always wanting to share his ideas and experiences with others. I only wish that I could've talked to him more and got to know him better.
As incredibly cheesy as this might sound, as long as he continues to live on in our memories Colin won't ever be truly dead. I will always remember him for being a crazy, fun and AWESOME guy that we all know and love. Rest in peace my friend... you've left us with unforgettable years of memories.

I guess you could say I was also late to the funeral. Except I didn't know he was dead until years later. I just assumed he took a break or something. So for 4 straight years I patiently waited for a Deadman to come back to his channel. And when I found out he wasn't coming back, it hit me like a fucking bus going full speed. I'm 20 now (the same age Colin was when he passed) and his story really put me and my life into perspective. He will never know who I am and I will likely never know who he was (as a person), but I still respect his struggle unfathomably.

I've been watching Kitty0706 when his channel started i was his like 8th or 9th subscriber. He was a great person, always making funny videos. But when i saw this video, my heart was broken into pieces. One of the funniest gmod animators on youtube will be missed forever. Would anyone else like to say a few nice words?

I feel terrible for almost forgetting Kitty0706... I found his channel either via his "Moments With Heavy" or "Elliot Goes to School" series. They were HELL LOTS O' FUN! Seriously, they BLEW my mind. Call me heartless or selfish if you like... because, I didn't care the first time I saw that he had passed out. Honestly. But, now -- What am I supposed to say? While watching this video, I almost cried 2-3 times. Googled Leukemia, and it's nasty stuff...

Kevin Elric I first met him from the "Elliot Goes to School" series. He was one of the funniest people I ever knew on TH-cam at that time. Later on in life, I forgot him. Not completely of course. My memory of his videos were brought back in a conversation with a friend. I went back to his channel, and was so exited to watch again. I have just now heard of his passing. I'm in tears right now.
Coming back to this almost 8 years later still hurts just as bad as it did when it happened
This still hits close to home, I play alot of TF2 and his name still comes up in games I play, he will be never forgotten
Both of my parents have studied cancer. That shit's scary, beyond that, it's terrifying. My heart goes out to all the people who have been affected by this terrible disease.

best thing to live by in times of loss: Don't be sad that the good times have gone, be happy that they happened. Kitty seems like the type of guy who wanted people to remember him and smile, rather than be sad that he's gone. It does make everything he made bittersweet though.
Colin was one of my greatest friends I ever made. He was extremely funny and creative, always make me laugh.
