- This is a tribute to Kitty0706 who passed away on the 25th last month.
Myself and Batman1138 figured what better way to honor him then to make an episode of one of our favorite series that he created, “Moments with Heavy.”
Think its only fair that I write a small eulogy here, I'm not very good at this but here goes.
I never knew Kitty.
I knew him by reputation and his videos sure. I wanted to meet him but by the time that I wanted to, his fame had gotten big to the point where I couldn't get through to him. But I had a feeling that we would've gotten along REALLY well.
We both had an appreciation for video games, we were both into mapping, making our own sets for our videos, and we both of course enjoyed art and animation.
Dying at such a young age with an obviously promising future is a shame, but I don't think he would want us to mourn, but to keep laughing and to keep our spirits up. Cause I know I sure as hell wouldn't have been able to make this if it wasn't thanks to his and DasBoSchitt's work that made me laugh and made me want to get into GarrysMod.
I hope your making stupid videos in the sky Kitty. Making everyone laugh.
I like to thank my friend Batman1138 with this video, we worked side-by-side writing and editing to make this video for Kitty. Like myself and Kitty, he is also a fellow animator that shares my sympathy.
Sadly, towards the end of production we were informed that animator and machinima maker Saken of Ultimote Pictures passed away as well.
Its been a rough start to the year as an animator especially in the Garry's Mod community .But i think the best we can do is look forward and hope for the best .

Never expected you to watch kitty
Something I've always noticed about Kitty0706's videos that set them aside from the usual stock of wacky Gmod videos was that they had a semi-coherent plot most of the time. You can tell that the Heavy is trying to achieve something, be it making pancakes or getting a drivers license. I always liked that aspect of his videos. It made them more interesting to watch. I hope that style doesn't die with him.

To those who didn't notice, when Heavy checks the calendar at 2:42 , the 25th has "Remembrance Day" written on it, along with a cat. This is a small reference to Kitty's death date, despite the month.

Man, it hit me too. I felt like crying, it was so sad, seeing Pyro Greatdictator there with his head hung low and his hat held off. And he walked away.... the feels! T_T
Took me a bit to avoid crying. Everything was well-placed: the people having a good time, no conflict since everyone was enjoying the "movie", slowly zooming out... and things ending with the sad moment, as Josh Riley pointed out.

I think SMG4/R64 was heavily inspired by Kitty. Their style of comedy is nearly identical to Kitty’s, they even use sound bites from his videos.

At ease, everybody. The thing is, the guy died when he was 20. He was entertaining us since he was a teen. Also, the ending was sad because everyone gathered around for movie night, no matter their intentions. And then GD's avatar in the cemetery? Bonus points.

I'm an incredibly emotionally closed off man when it comes to sadness or similar things. I only ever laugh or get mad around other people, but never show when I'm truly emotional. This video made me cry. Years later, it still does.

I love all of those subtle references to kitty's videos. Like Winnie the Pooh dragging Luis, and "Do you rememburr vodka?" I grew up watching kitty's videos, and I go back every now and then to reminisce. Poor guy. His death still hurts.

Colin (Kitty) really was able to make the best jokes of everything, especially through his awesome drawings with the same style as Ed,Edd and Eddy and so many other of the old school cartoon network shows.

I absolutely adore this, there was just one thing missing. I just wish the cast from Elliot goes to school was able to attend the party at the end and just say something magical, other than that this is by far the best thing i've seen all year.
It was one day, a normal, day, when I was a new player for CS:GO. I was playing the map Workout on casual, it was any normal day. The first time I heard of kitty's passing was during that day, somebody mentioned it. At first, I was confused, I didn't believe it, the one great gmodder has passed away? I kept asking questions, but soon stopped the game. I looked online, seeing that kitty really did pass away. I didn't know what to feel at first, somebody that great and funny has passed away, I was in shock, and then I felt really bad. Why, why must someone this great pass away? It was in my mind for a couple days, but the one thing I know is that kitty's spirit will live in our hearts. He stands out for the gmodders, a symbol and legend. Godspeed you magnificent bastard, rest in peace dear friend...P.S: Also amazing video, I'm sure colin would've loved it as well.

Even after almost three years, I keep having tears in my eyes thinking about Kitty0706. As someone who was a big part of my childhood with his videos, It was such a pleasure to watch this finally. It brings me so much nostalgia that it made me happy. This is the greatest goodbye to Kitty I have ever seen. Thank you a lot for bringing his spirit up on this one with the references.

Man, Kitty0706 will always be one of the greatest and funniest TF2 animators of all time, and he was a great guy as well. I can’t believe it’s already been 9 years since then… he’ll always be missed… and he’ll always be a legend.

Being a guy lucky enough to be subscribed to Kitty/Colin a very long time ago as a child who had nothing better to do than browse TH-cam, and having had the opportunity to talk with him both on Steam and Skype as a friend, I can assure you he would've loved this. I wanted to take some time today to look up some videos in tribute to Colin, and as a result, I've stumbled on some really nice talent like you I didn't know about before, people who were all inspired by him, and make great content either indirectly through inspiration, or even by playing a hand personally in helping them grow.
It's really amazing to see just how many people were inspired by him and how much he's helped the GM and even SFM community grow.
