I'm a heavy runner and the clifton is too soft and the bondi is absolutely perfect.

Same with me. The Bondi is made to absorb heavy foot falls.

I bought a pair of these and the Clifton 7s. I do agree that the Bondis have a slightly stiffer midsole so I do prefer my Cliftons for running but prefer the Bondis for long walks or anytime I’m on my feet for extended periods of time because of the better support. When it comes to running, I think the Bondis would be better for heavier runners.

Thanks for the review. Sometimes you got to wonder how shoe companies get things so wrong that a cheaper shoe turns out better than it's costlier counterpart.

I wish I found your review before buying this shoe. Based on other channels, I thought this was going to be softer than even the Ultraboost. But it’s way firmer than I expected, even after a bunch of miles. I thought I was going crazy. Not a cushiony shoe at all. I’ll try to stick with it for a bit longer to see if the midsole softens up, but what a disappointment. Thanks for the review.

I guess there's a general problem with max cushion as a whole. If you say, 37mm of cushion is good, you need to add, for whom? A 60kg runner with 1.7m will find them too stiff, while a 1.95m runner with 95kg will say they're too mushy. Whlile mountainbikers dial suspension stiffness, you just can't dial midsole stiffness

I hear that the bondi 7 is not as cushiony as the bondi 6. I love the bodi 6. Im 215lbs runner and love running in these. Ok, yeah, thats why people were complaining about the stiffness. Ill stick with the bondi 6.

Great video! Just unboxed new pair and reviewed the bindi 7’s I’ve been wearing for a year. Sharing in case you or anyone else watching is interested ❤️

I find it interesting the Bondi is a max cushion, but I find it more firm compared to other max cushion shoes (e.g. Sketchers GOrun MaxRoad 4 Hyper, Saucony Triumph 18, Brooks Glycerin, to name a few). I attribute this to their midsole foam technology. I still enjoy Hoka, but with the stack height I was hoping the Bondi were more forgiving. Thank you for your review.

Hi Erik - you do try a lot of shoes too! Our review of the Clifton 7 is coming and so far it seems it's softer than the Bondi.

So which is better for standing a 12 hour shift work on one spot without hurting your feet?
The hoka clifton 7 or the Hoka Bondi 7?
    Or both have same cushion?
im a heavy person and my feet hurts with sketchers .

In theory the Bondi has more cushioning, but we feel the Clifton 7 is better in that regard.

Would you go with bondi 7 or gaviota

    • @Runningshoesgurucom
      @Runningshoesgurucom  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

They are two different shoes... at least on paper. I run with the Gaviota 2 as my daily trainer since a while now and I love them... the Bondi have some stability but not as stable as the Gaviota of course.

@@Runningshoesgurucom if your coming to home like me from New balence 990 v4 and are 5'10 around 250 pounds and a bad back which show should I look at more gaviotav2 Clifton 7 bonds 7 one thing I'm not running at least now mainy standing or walking thanks also is the foam different in gaviotta then Clifton or bondi? Thanks

    • @bachpham1783

This is maybe personal as far as walking, but if I use a running shoe for just walking or standing I prefer one with stability in which case the gaviota. I think the Brooks Adrenaline is also a good one.

@@Runningshoesgurucom i keep hearing that the gaviota does not last as long as bondi and gaviota gives shin splits? Is that true? Also the cushion the same as Clifton 7

I couldn't hear your review for the Musak. I want a review not a musical. Adios.
