Great presentation Josh. Please do more electric vehicle presentations. Alot of youtube vids they drive around and don't give you a nice breakdown of the vehicle and benefits. You did so perfectly.. literally made me choose this Nissan today over some of its competitors! Better description of this vehicle then the auto trader youtube.. keep them coming!!!

Great job Josh very clear review I think the N-connecta is the sweet spot of the range enough kit to keep you safe but not over the top and not confusing

Halogen lights is a negative as they use MORE Electricity.
Foot handbrake is very old fashioned.
All other features seem right and overall the presentation was well planned and delivered.
Will be ordering a leaf later this year.

Thank you for featuring the N-Connector. It's probably the best option for most people. Yes you can get Lane keep etc on the Tekna but (after looking) it's only a £495 upgrade on this spec anyway, just no auto park.
The older Tekna had the rear heated seats, so it's good to see it available here - it's best to heat the seats in an EV, rather than turn on HVAC to keep you warm!
It's a pity Nissan went with the foot parking brake - it's not that conventional. The series 1 had a handbrake lever, I don't know why they got rid of it?
Do you know if the pre-heat/cool is still available on the 40kwh without being plugged in, as it was on the 24/30 kwh? I can't charge at home, so this makes a big difference to me.
The N-Connector is available to me on a good deal company car scheme at the moment, so I'm considering this as a future car!
A great, in-depth review. Thank you.

What's the answer to the original commenter's question about unplugged pre-heating? I'd like to know, too.

@@broadsword6650 Hello, the n-connecta grade has front and back heated seats, as well as a heated steering wheel.

I`m thinking of buying a Nissan Leaf and i am reading that Chademo chargers may be phased out.
    Is this a concern ?

Before you buy please rent or have the dealership give a day to live with the car. Depending in where you live, driving style, you may spend around the same for public charging and insurance is higher because the car is electric.

I really wanted to like the 40kw leaf. Here is real world rundown. 90% charge=140 miles. Add to that 100F temp, air con=130(That's before even starting to drive). Add peaks and valleys and you get very expensive car that does not take you beyond running errands. I look forward to the days of 300+ and minimal battery drain....then the price tag makes sense.

Not sure which country you're driving in KV but it's not often 100F here? 100% charge is 160 miles. Those are some errands you're running. The 59kWh LEAF does 250+ so probably worth you looking at that model.
