This song got me through a really bad time in my teenage life. My dad was very verbally abusive and I was contemplating suicide. One night I was just watching music videos and this came on. It was like she sung the song just for me. I cried like a baby, and I realized that I was strong and I could face anything. It's amazing what the right music can do for you. Thank you.

It always makes me cry. I don't think xtina even knows how many people she saved with stripped. This album came to me at the lowest point in my life, I really was giving up. Then I heard the voice within... When she said "don't cry, I'll be right here when your world starts to fall". I always felt like she was really talking to me. (Not me f*cking sobbing while writing this) everytime i saw myself giving up I would just hide from the world and listen to this. I still struggle to this day with it But because of her I know where to find just enough strength to keep going. Thank you Christina.

This song played when I was paralyzed from the neck down in the hospital. I remember I had lost all hope. I thought I would be in a vegetative state for the rest of my life. I had never listened to the lyrics and its positive message until I was there lying on that bed. I remember it did something to me internally. Almost like it lit a fire within me that let me know I had the inner strength to pull through, and now I am back to normal. I will always trust my voice within. Thank you so much, Christina. This is not only music, it is food for the soul.

Stripped is her greatest album hands down
She sung this at a time in my childhood/teen years when I was being abused and my innocence taken from me behind closed doors. Because of her I found the strength to speak out about what was going on. Thankfully I was heard and the abuse stopped after years. I owe my life to her. I can not thank her enough for giving me the courage to do the hardest thing I ever had to do.
PTSD has brought me here to listen to it again in my 30s to remind me of the one time I had any strength. CSA survivor because of her. X

During a very hard time, when I was at about 16 years old and suddenly remembered very traumatizing things that happened to me in my childhood, this song helped me massively to be patient and to listen only to the voice within me! My consciousness!

I am depressed. I have experienced a lot this year 2023. Powertripping at work, betrayal of friends, family problems, financial problems, career not progressing, and my partner for more than 8 years leaving me when I needed him most. Just after a month, he found someone new.
All at once. I even fear of not making it through the new year. I am having panic attacks, shaking, hot flashes. I cry a lot, many times, to everyone, to my siblings, my grandma, my mom, and even to my dog who seems to understand. I feel helpless. I always pray that may God just erase all my memories so I can start anew. But life isn't that way, I got get through this. I need to fight for my soul. I hope one day, I'll just look back and thank God for helping me survive.

Listening to this song at work. After years of being bullied, and going through so much, I finally found my voice. I have been through so much trauma and was one of those people who was convinced that I wasn't good enough. I stopped drinking and smoking cigarettes and am my own superhero. I wish that people didn't commit suicide. Brighter days are coming. I'm 40 years old. I am stronger than my adversities and difficulties that life can bring. I have one year of sobriety and three years of cigarette cessation. One day at a time. Looking forward to completing my first book, Pain Free and Finally Happy: Finding Your Path through the Darkness!!!!

Growing up as an orphan and gay was the hardest thing a teenager can go through. I hated myself and everyone and suicidal thoughts comes into my head every single day.
