You were beyond polite for Waterforce. I bet the gigabyte people were staring angrily at you for what you said on a livestream on it. The implementation is stupid for liquid cooling GPUs.

Slay Hard to quote word for word right now, but as anyone might imagine, having three separate radiators and three different pumps for three different graphics cards is not the smartest thing to do in order to watercool three graphics cards. This thing is huge, the amount of tubing is ridiculous and the end cooling result i can bet is not that impressive.

$3000? Wow, probably can get something similar for less than half that price, and won't look ugly at the same time.
Considering the average price for the weakest GTX 980 is $550~ I doubt it.
even with $3000 i don't think you would buy your way to water cool 3 graphics cards with one rad each.
Deox you can get 3 980 and a whole custom watercooling kit for less, but you pay premium for being able to be lazy with this stuff and you don't have to do research on custom watercoolong
I'll wait for the 960s and the R9 300 series. This setup is not worth it, and expect the prices of the 980 to drop dramatically.
yea but the main point is he still doesn't have a rad for each one. This is why i believe this is found to be something unique and $3000 would be worth if you really do desire interesting stuff like this (and if you have the money)

I must be one of the only people that isn't bothered by it. It just means the videos over, and I move on - or - if I'm on a playlist - I'm generally doing something else, and so I don't care. It's really no different to "Leave a like if you liked, leave a dislike if you... etc. and the entire paragraph he has going for LMG's own promotion.
Well when a company PAYS to send you and your ENTIRE CREW to CES you think they do it just cause, and they don't expect ANYTHING in return? You guys really need to inform yourselves in how these things work; Advertising, Sponsors, etc.
I saw this when I was on the last Computex, it was really impressive as a showcase product, but I can't imagine someone buying this. ***** had a really good review of it recently!

One big combined watercooler would make much more sense than 3 independent coolers. A ton of games don't support 2-way, let alone 3-way SLI. So for all the times you only run one card you would get 3 times the ratiator surface.
Is there a 2 way version of that SLI bridge you could buy separately? It looks sick.

I watched a review on this about a month back and he said the tubes had an extra foot of length and was a pretty big problem for the esthetics did they fix that on the model at ces

I've got an FX-6300 CPU paired with a GTX 760 4GB GPU. I'm thinking of saving up for an FX-8350 for when GTA V comes out for PC. (it recommends an FX-8350). Would it be a good idea to upgrade or should I stick to what I've got?

No one would pay $3000 for this. Who is their target market? What enthusiast would even consider spending that kinda money on this as opposed to a custom loop? Ridiculous product.

What's the difference between all the brands like Msi evga gigabyte and so on when it comes to the graphics car? Are all 970's the same? Thanks and any help will be much appreciated

If it was 3 R9 290X i could see it with the heat they put out but why would you need this setup for 3 super power efficient graphics cards.

The thing about stuff like this is, while it might be really cool and powerful right now, in 12 months it's a paperweight compared to new technology, so it's just nice temporarily, as a marketing gimmick .

i feel like for 3k, i can do a custom water cooling project and make it compact and sleeker design.
at first i was like "$3000???? WTF????!?!?!" but then he mentioned that it includes 3 GTX980 (overclocked, a support brace.... etc..etc..... and then i thought "well okay, that's pretty nice actually"
If I was going to build a x99 system, I would consider this mobo because of the color scheme alone.
But I thought that more than 2 980s gave u less power because in a video u made it said in benchmarks more than two did worse

Sorry linus you forget to mention the main feature of this motherboard.. it has extra CPU pins and a switch to enable and disable it like dual bios mode
Somebody should buy these, take them apart, and sell them individually. After all, each GPU is a separate loop so it could be done.
This is $3000 USD. SMD, With $3000 USD can get 4x GTX980 in a custom loop and have someone do it for you. This shit is stupid.

Best way to use waterforce with blowing down heat from radiators as a binded at top of your computer ultra heating machine that wont allow yours top mounted fan to exost hot air from ur case. Great job gigabyte!

No good trying to polish a turd with the WaterForce,JayzTwoCents reviewed it and it had many issues.
Hmm I wonder if using 4 vs 8 sticks of ram is beneficial or retards performance? I've always thought filling all your ram slots would be slower compared to using higher density ram but using half the slots and still have the same amount of ram. Something i bet Linus could investigate, if he hasn't already (on X79 or X99 chipsets that do quad channel)
A custom loop is really a much more elegant and practical solution if you really feel the need for 3-way 980's. Personally, I would only go with 2-way 980's max, and I would put them in a custom loop. Any more than that and you are basically just wasting money.
