Hi Tanya. I watched the movie "I love you", with subtitles. I confess you my frustration. It is not a comedy, I think rather sad with a young acientist, suffering a traumatic connection with water. So obscure colours, dramatic gestures. Difficult to understand what the actor and actress said. With no modulated or opened mouths enough, even phrases not edited in the known way. Like spiting words, impossible for me to understand. I guess it depends on the hundreds ways of speaking and pronouncing people have. And last but not least the best training a non native speaker like me has'nt achieved. You speak clear open your mouth it's completely different. Thanks. I think that is a difference between fluency and correct grammar pronunciation.... I my case I'm able to express myself pretty fluently but my grammar is not at excellent level 😅

I've been trying to speak fluently since many years ago but I feel I am still in the some place where I started.😔 I have studied many grammar rules but when I speak I have found many difficulties. I'm good at Understanding when I listening podcasts, TH-cam videos, Episode, sports interview. But when I wanna to speak I have a difficulty in my case what I have to do to improve my English skills❓but i don't know why I'm stilling struggling in speaking.💔😔"

I think I have pretty good listening skills as I'm able to understand 98% of what you're saying. However, I watched the Trump/Biden debate two days ago, and it was difficult for me to understand everything, maybe it's because the American political context that I don't know... President Obama is easier for me to understand because he has very good pronunciation. That might be the reason why.
Yes! Obama is a great speaker. Keep watching him to become more aware of the political context and then try to listen to some of the others.
