After watching many videos and opinions from different Denali owners doing/replacing stock magna ride front strut and shocks I decided to replace all around arnot magna ride on my 17 Sierra Denali.
This Denali looks 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 no fan of Maroon/burgundy color but the truck is got the aggressive look
Thank for the video! So how much of a lift do you think these actually ended up providing? Trying to figure out what i want to do with my 18 Denali! thanks 🙏🏼
That’s looks really good. 👍🏽
Where did you get the reservoir mounting bracket ?
Whats the shock size he's running or do you have the link for the shocks??
2.5 extended travel Fox
Are these 0-2’ or 0-3’ ? I ordered 0-2 but am worried I won’t be able to level it without having too much pre load , any help ?
The ones on this truck are 0-3, his last truck he had was an 11 Silverado, and he had 0-2 on that truck and he had it leveled and it rode just fine had no issues
What did you use too bypass magnaride ?
1 year later…Did you sell the mag ride shocks ??
Yes they are sold
Looks great. Thinking of running the same set up on my '09 with some Bilsteins in the rear.
Question about the bump stop: By cutting it out, do you run a risk of tearing the CV axel boot or breaking it off entirely with the added droop? Any need for a diff drop/end links/tie rods at this height?
Cheers
You don’t have to worry about that too much, 1 it depends on the shock you’re running and the amount of travel it has, and unless you’re absolutely beating the crap out of it and jumping it a a lot and your shock has enough travel to make the cv shaft hit its lowest point, you should have nothing to worry about. His last truck we had these on, it was jumped once or twice at the dunes, and spent 4 days on the dune and had no issues
Thanks, can’t wait to get this set up. Planning on doing anything in the rear?
For now he just has fox shocks in the rear. Not sure if he’s going to do anything more crazy with it or not honestly lol
Are these the 0-3” ones? Do you know if they come preset to 3”? Did you guy adjust them or just threw them on the truck
Yes 0-3 and as far as we can remember we set them in the truck just as they came out of the box
what's part number on kit
Im running a similar set up next week. Ive gone with kryptonite control arms and a Eibach stage 2 coil over with 2-4”height. Do yall have any current rubbing with 35s? Was wanting to get 35x12.5R22s and was curious. There the same gm 22s thats on this red truck
If they are 12.5 wide they will run the sway bar
@@Shooff3.4ok sway im not to worried about. No rubbing on the control arms either? Would I be ok leaving the bump stop?
@ugagolferdude You cut the bump stop and with this setup he only barely rubs the fender line but if you trim it you’ll be good
@@Shooff3.4might go with these since we have same 22 inch wheelIs. Specs say you need max 4.75” backspacing. Did you not have to get spacers? These wheels have more than 4.75
currently have the mag ride on a spacer running the same 22 on 35s it rubs but not much at all but am looking to get fox shocks but don't know what to get a little advice?
What size tires is he running now after the suspension setup?
35x12.5 on a 20x9 rim
