    Does ANYONE know definitively what part #'s I need to purchase for the non-magneride top mounts? I ordered the Bilstein 5100's by themselves and the shock shafts don't work with the denali/magenride top strut mounts. Any help would be appreciated.

    • @keithcorliss1547
      @keithcorliss1547 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Honestly the ride is really poor. We put in Rancho RS9000 series quick struts (2" lift) and the truck rides like an old Lincoln with no shocks. It's like it's over sprung and under shocked. I'm not sure if it's because we changed the geometry of the control arms or if the Ranchos are just a poor ride.

    Should have showed what you used and how to bypass magnaride. You will get error codes. Which is why most tuned into video to start with. Replacing a strut aint the problem. 👎

    • @SavageEnterprisesLLC
      @SavageEnterprisesLLC  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I was not able to show that process because my customer wanted to try a different route than what MagDelete supplies. If you buy their kit, MagDelete offers a simple plug and play solution. There are other companies that make solutions as well. There are many options for turning the light off. I can only show what I did. Replacing the suspension components is the major part of the issue and what most people will struggle with. Most people can figure out a couple electrical plugs 👍🏻

      @@minnesota4169 I gotcha now. Magdelete goes up to a 2.85” front lift. With a non max tow package, that will make you sit a little nose high. Did this kit make the ride smoother? I want to improve my ride on my 18 sierra denali. I had a mechanic replace with aftermarket but the ride is rough and I am getting tired of having to worry about dodging even the smallest bumps. magdelete has fox and bilstein. From what I read the fox may be better for daily driver applications. I only tow an 8500 lb travel trailer a few times a year for a short four hour trip. Interested to hear what you thought of the improvement on the quality of the ride. Thanks!

    • @SavageEnterprisesLLC
      @SavageEnterprisesLLC  ปีที่แล้ว

      My customer was very happy with the bilsteins. His ride was naturally a little bit more stiff because of the leveling kit installed on top of the struts. Fox always does a great job, but I also always find that people are more than happy with Bilstein for their daily drivers. What brand struts did you put on yours?
