Yeah it's safe as long as you don't download the custom rom from unofficial or using closed source roms. Try sticking to official stable open source roms found on the custom rom's website or even it's official telegram group/channel. To sum it up, as long as you use mods and source them from trusted places with a lot of user base. You'll be good to go, even you are rooted.
I have noticed a grey tint in a dark grey background in my redmi note 10 pro especially when the brightness is lower in 120hz is it hardware or software issue , Do u think ?

There is a lot of screen flicker at low brightness and auto brightness sucks. The charging is rather 15-20% slower and theres also idle battery drain in night of about 15-20%. Plus the vanced manager is unable to sign in to google services. Can you provide me with the feedback of these issues with respect to arrow OS. It will be really helpful. Thanx in advance
Discuss about this issues in your phone device telegram group. They'll help you out easier! For the battery idle drain try out different custom kernels as well.
I've tried the new gcam 8.3 and actually prefer the stock redmi camera for the setting etc, also the gcam wants me to install Google photos just to view my taken pictures and videos. If I use arrow OS 12, is there an apk for the stock redmi camera??

Gcam doesnt support the perfect video stabilisation like that of the stock rom
it supports if u use correct config files.

Is it normal for the "Android System" to take battery usage on the ArrowOS 12? I'm new to this kind of information
I had the same problem. I loved arrow os.
The only problem for me was the idle battery drain. It ate like 40-50% overnight
so i reverted back to MIUI
@@RoGersVision Android System is the OS itself. As per the idle drain, I don't have that problem. Mine drains between 1-2% sometimes 0%.
If I install...i will miss 108 mp camera feature in my redmi note 10 pro Max.

Harsh, if you want a dope custom rom, try Project Elixir ( A12) or Pixel Plus Ui ( A11) for the same. Do try them out, you will definitely love it.
