- Xiaomi phone's comes with MIUI which has a lot of bloatware in it. Today in this video I am going to show you a simple and easy way to remove bloatware from any xiaomi phone without rooting your phone. Bloatware like preinstalled apps and games can be easily uninstalled by this method.

Worked perfectly on my Poco X3. The phone is now super free and clean, especially with Nova launcher prime. Literally no spammy ads anymore! Thanks a ton bro 🔥

P.S: Don't disable/uninstall MSA as it interferes with Google Play Services functioning.

@Adarzh Sathyan Yes, the only disadvantage is you won't be able to update system apps.
@Adarzh Sathyan No, obviously you won't be able to play them with those apps. You will have to download some alternative from the play store. I use VLC, as it doesn't have any ads.
@Adarzh Sathyan Yes, it will give you a choice to choose the player/app to open the video or audio file.
@Adarzh Sathyan Scanning of QR from camera won't work. If you want that feature, then don't uninstall Scanner. But then, you can always use Google Lens to scan QR. There is an alternative to everything :)

This is a good first step. What drove me into flashing a custom ROM is OCD: the clean/deep clean option will still appear in the recent apps menu after you've removed the "cleaner" app. It's just there, being a useless button that does nothing every time I go into recent apps.
You can always turn it off in the settings
+better performance, privacy, no bloatware and no ads
I can feel it bro. You can't get rid of the cleaner app completely. The cleaning option will still show up on the security app. Clicking on it won't do anything though.

I know we have the option to uninstall update but when I updated my redmi note 8 phone to miui 12.5.1 the Music app cannot be downgraded anymore

Does this affect the warranty? I heard that Xiaomi will refuse our warranty claim if we done any changes to the softwares and I'm not pretty sure about it. Just curious to know about it..
Great. It works. There were still 7 apps that I wasn't able to uninstall but just realised that i still uninstalled like 15 apps. They amount of bloatware mi have is crazy. K20 pro was my first MI phone and will be my last. Samsung for life.

in the Xiaomi ADB & Fastboot Tools it shows "ERROR: the device cannot be loaded" and I have USB debugging enabled, I don't even get the notification on the phone once connected to the pc, and I even tried setting it to data transfer, I have a redmi note 7.

Here's a much much much easier idea to get rid of the bloat , not remove completely , but still ....(I did this on my grandparent's phone) :
1) first disable all mi app notifications which you want removed.
2) Install poco launcher from the playstore.
2) Open hide apps option .
3) hide all the mi apps .
4) set a complicated password .
5) forget the password .
6) you're good to go, have fun .
the poco launcher is way cleaner and it is very similar to stock android , especially the homesceen and the app drawer.
This is a very easy and simple way , the phone becomes absolutely beautiful .

One of the reasons why you'd want to remove the apps is to free up storage. This just hides them.

Hello, I know this is a very late question since I just saw this video. I'm thinking of debloating my Samsung device but I'm kinda scared, do I still get system updates or security updates even when I remove some unnecessary system apps? My phone is unrooted as well.

U can use magisk manager to hide root from any desired app
If ROM it properly no problems but if you try to get a ROM from a bad dev (best custom rom: Lineage OS)it will be a problem or if you forget to flash something. And you can do what the above guy said for apps.

You can remove anything but, don't remove security app because it causes bootloop to the device.

sir i am using a linux software i have installed the java file from linux and the xioami tool and followed as you said, when i clicked the java file , it opened through archive manager and showed the name of the file and then i opened xiaomi tool and it ask me to extract its files , i have selected a folder and then i didnt see the opening how it is like yours, if i have done any mistake please help me to give a solution

I just wanna mention that when i tried flashing my phone a couple years ago, i tried some wierd shit to remive mi browser , and then it failed , so i left that idea , after my next miui update , the browser disappeared , I have no idea what I did till now. I am wondering .

@@Cred_it dude method this guys is using , same I did when I got my phone. I am just a tech enthusiasts so that's why I know lil bit about these stuff. You can go to google and search for the application which are safe to uninstall . I also got rid of calculator and other apps too. So search online about which apps are safe to uninstall . There you will find a list which are safe to remove , then using that list the method which @technolobe used to get your app free from bloatware.

I downloaded the files as mentioned on your site but after I launched the .jar file, it says "Error: Cannot find adb/fastboot! Downloading latest version", which it never does. Any workaround?

I successfully uninstalled them but I was expecting to free up some space after that but it doesn't give some space in my phone. Please help
It will not free up any space because the bloatware is stored in /system partition which only system apps are installed. And /data partition which stores user data will not get any free space by removing uninstallable bloatware.

A "Disable" button will also appear on "App Infos" if you temporarily turn off MIUI Optimization on Developer Options. No external devices necessary.
