What recovery are using for installation ? I tried using pixel recovery but the installation of gapps fails. So I follow the process : facotry reset; install update from sd card - install arrow rom and then again install update for gapps where after it fails.
I’m using arrowos gapps build so I don’t flash gapps separately. And I’m using twrp 3.6.1, I have provided the link in the description. Here’s the process. When the device is booted to TWRP Go to Advanced wipe Clear Cache, dalvik and data Then Format data Flash the rom

Yes Kashif. You will get the OTA updates in both the ROMs (android updates as well) but going from one android version to another might require formatting the data.

@@kashif8545 If you are on MIUI 12 or 13, you need to unlock the bootloader first, then flash the recovery (twrp) then flash the ROM (arrow os or pixel experience) Before flashing arrow os or PE, you need to format the data + clear cache, data and dalvik (you will get these options in twrp recovery) and you also need an sd card in your device.
I think I misunderstood your question. Are you already using MIUI based custom ROM? Well then you will already have a recovery, just reboot to recovery clear data cache and dalvik, format data and flash the ROM. Keep the rom files both in your internal and external storage in case the recovery does not decrypt the device internal storage.

Hey, thank you so much 😊 All android 12 roms I have tested support 33W fast charging, while arrow os displays that the phone is charging slowly but it takes usual 1 hour and 30 mins to completely charge the battery. I would recommend arrow os because you will get a much better battery backup 🙂

I guess the steps should be similar if you are using an eu device. 1. Unlock Bootloader 2. Flash a custom recovery (twrp/orangefox) 3. Format data (through recovery) 4. Wipe cache, dalvik and data (through recovery) 5. Flash latest firmware (if required) 6. Flash ROM (flash gapps if not included with the ROM) 7. Format data again 8. Reboot to system
Heyy. Arrow os is very minimal and fast. You can try this if you don't like any extra features or there is DerpFest os, which is like Arrow os but has some extra customization options. I'm currently testing DerpFest and it's performing really well.
There is not much of a difference between the two. Both are based on GCam 7.4 but some features are different like the color correction, lib patcher, OIS and portrait settings. Other than that, both of them are almost the same.

I also ran some 3dMark tests and the score was pretty average. I don’t think you will get a major boost in gaming performance if you are coming from MIUI.

Hi bro.. Sorry for the late response. Your device will stay encrypted after flashing this ROM. But you would need an sd card in your device because twrp is not able to access the internal storage. Hi bro.. 15k is a good price for this phone (amazon is offering a 2k discount coupon, right). But it also depends on how you want to use it, if you play a lot of games, then it's not that great. Other than that, the device is really good with incredible custom ROM support. This phone is really good even in 2022 and if you look at note 11 pro which comes with a mediatek processor, this is the best note series phone from Xiaomi. If you have any credit or debit cards, you get it for more discounted price.
