So in your opinion which of these custom rom will provide unlimited Google photos storage and some customisation (or atleast basic customisation) with good battery backup. Suggest me anything. You should get unlimited Google photo storage with most custom roms like pixelOS, pixelplusui, evolutionx and elixir (i have tested them in my redmi note 10 pro). Pixelos has least customization out of all these custom roms, it's like a better version of pixel experience. Pixelplusui should be a good option to start with, it's has a good customisation and again, if you want the default miui camera, it might not be available (Google camera is going to be a good option). Try to check the changelog or let me know I can help with that.. Now battery backup is an issue with most custom roms (it's inconsistent), miui will give you a better battery backup. I guess you can start with pixelplusui, if you don't like it, then move to evox or elixir.
I have a few questions:- Is 33w charging supported Is battery draining when idle Is new miui camera better or worse than the default miui camera Always on display working? Carrier video call working If Dolby Atmos is not there then are the speakers sound is reduced Does the new miui camera has all the features which the default miui camera has? Everything you mentioned was working fine and this is a much older version of the rom I'm using in this video. I'm not sure about the latest version of pixel os, i did not try it.
Developers can port Leica camera app to custom ROMs but installing an apk directly might not work. It depends on the device as well, if you are using MIUI 13 with Android 12, there are high chances that Leica camera will work..

With the new update, they have removed the Leica camera app, now it's the normal MIUI camera. In this video I'm using an old build which had Leica camera.. Always try to check the changelog before flashing..

Looking at you using your phone with pixelOs i see the animations are not that smooth I am running pixel experience on my redmi note 8 and it runs fantastically no lag while opening an app
I don't know how it was looking on camera but PixelOS has been running very smoothly in redmi note 10 pro. I have used pixel experience as well, it was good but PixelOS is definitely better.

Iqoo doesn't let you unlock the bootloader and there are no custom roms. I'm using one iqoo device myself. Xiaomi devices should be your preferred choice i guess because they have good custom rom support. Also, the latest note series from Xiaomi has weaker processors compared to redmi note 10 pro (if you are planning to go for note series)

Yeah poco F4 seems a good choice looking at the specs. I was also planning to buy it but then got a different phone. There is no official pixel experience for poco F4 but PixelOS is there. And i don't think there's any issue with motherboard, poco X3 pro has that issue.

You can use either recovery or adb sideload. 1. For recovery Reboot to recovery > clear cache and the dalvik > flash the latest update file > reboot to system 2. For adb sideload Reboot to recovery > connect your phone to PC > start adb sideload in your phone > open platform tools in your PC > start command prompt > start adb sideload > flash the updated file > reboot to system

I have old PixelOS recovery, of July 2022. Can i flash latest version of this rom via that recovery?
I think yeah. But flash the latest pixelos recovery if it's available..I never used any other recovery apart from twrp.

Might take some time! Switched back to miui last week..but I think I was able to turn on the flash on the lockscreen drop down menu.
