The rom is excellent! But something worth mentioning is that the battery life takes a significant hit when compared to MIUI + Fast Charging is not as fast as MIUI. Otherwise it's a brilliant rom!

Been using LineageOS based on Android 13 by the same maintainer. Smoothest my phone has ever been.

Absolutely the best ROM out there for the RN10 pro. I was on this ROM for about 3 months now until recently my phone just got deadass beaten and was left useless. This phone is an absolute package and phones under 20k today are not even close to what this device offers.

I am using this in Redmi Note 10, and what I can say is that the network speeds in this ROM are top-notch. MiUI gives the least network speeds, in both 2.4G and 5G bands, and Pixel Experience is kinda in the middle. I do not this is the issue with my unit, but because of this, MiUI felt significantly slower in my device. Kudos to the team of PixelOS for his one.

So I installed PixelOS after watching this video on my Redmi Note 10 (not Pro) and everything seems to be fine except - I can't locate the MIUI Camera app. Anything to be done here?
Maybe your phone rn10 doesn't ships with miui cam, u can join tg group and people there will help u installing it but you may hv to root

I just wanted to install crdroid ROM, but this ROM seems also good. The most important thing to me is battery life and also the thing that is so important to me that it can be a dealbreaker is an option to make my phone unlock only after I press the power button and fingerprint reader that is integrated into power button. I heard such option exists in crdroid ROM. Does PixelOS ROM have that option? The answer would be very appreciated. Also the comparison in battery life between crdroid and PixelOS would be very appreciated. Btw, I'm using Poco F3.
Some mentioned that fast charging (the 33watt charging) doesn't work to its full potential with this ROM.Can you please clarify this
Yup as of now. But may improve in future if Xiaomi updates it's source
For some units which specifically have ln8000 pmic, fast charging does not work at the moment (blame xiaomi)
While for the units which have another pmic, it works as good as miui

There's this issue I have with this rom, so I paid for the filmic pro app, and on miui I was able to record 10 bit and my ultra wide camera was recognized. However on this rom, only the main wide lens is recognized by the app and I can only do 8bit footage, I'm guessing my phone is recognized as a pixel device hence the limitations?

Yes u have to. And flash ur region based firmware. Always flash firmware when u are flashing roms other than miui.

Should i install custom rom if i have only 1 device. I mean i use this device primarily.
It use to be a big risk. But if you take your time and follow instructions carefully you can successfully install a really stable custom ROM like PixelOS or CherishOS and you will very much enjoy the experience.
Sir I have one question, are we going to get the update automatically or do we have to manually update it every time?
Used this for 6 months, found seriously frustrating issues with ROM. . back to miui ... let's hope they refine this

1. Eats up 5000 mAh in 4 hours !!!
2. On latest build it was crashing on its own.
3. Had issues with calling on SIM 2, tried everything from xda, didn't worked, sent logs to Devs too, wasn't fixed.
3. Device would restart on its own sometimes.
4. Sometimes you won't get the call !
5. Sometimes the charging speed used to fluctuate insanely.... I guess that's why my battery health took a hit too.
My suggestion - If you repy on your phone for serious usage, don't flash it. Otherwise this ROM comes with pretty serious package.

@@Technolobe Thank you very much. I am currently using an 8.3 mod, probably from BSG, but it isn't giving very good results. The colours are fine, albeit a bit underexposed, but if you pinch in, the lack of details is very noticeable, especially if bricks and soil textures are in the picture!

Is the camera full-fledged mui camera with all features?
I've previously used the PixelRom in your previous video. Performance and experience was absolutely flawless. However, what I really missed were the camera features and functionality being offered in MIUI. The cameras didn't work properly at all in those ROMs and they always crashed despite clean installation. That's what unfortunately forced me back to MIUI. Is there a way we can retain our camera functionality on custom ROMs. That would be the best possible combo.

This rom is not updated in more than 6 months and the battery life is horrendous. I had to charge the phone twice a day after minimal usage. There is a serious batteryyy drain issue. Additionally, the phone gets extremely hot when using it for navigation same did not replicate after I switched back to miui stock firmware. The only good thing is it has unlimited google photos support. Apart from that cons outweigh the pros heavily.
Well this is a great rom ! ! But many users including me faces QS Lag . Though many users don't face this . Have you faced qs lag on this build ? ?
Informative! but I think you missed out on the cons part. PixelOS on RN10Pro has a lot of idle drain.
How much to be exact ? On MIUI it's usually 4-5%.

WELL, my redmi note 10 pro is dead within a year. And the service centre are asking 9.5k for it to get repaired lol. And to my amazement almost 13 14 people in the service centre had the same problem.

@@Technolobe I hope so cause I have used all the Mi A series phone with stock android and I must say it has been a breeze. No bloat ware or any kind of 3rd party app. Just simple clean UI with monthly updates from Google.
