    For those who doesn't have access to a PC, a lot can be done while setting up your phone like skipping over setting up an account and so on (this can stop Xiaomi from pushing their facemoji keyboard). I made a video about it recently.

      @Shalvin K I have tried pixel experience, most stable ROM out there. However, I am on corvus 8.0 for its customisations and performance. Almost every ROM for POCO is stable unless you flash harmful kernels. Stick with stock.

    This video is a godsend.
    My grandfather is using a Xiaomi phone for 5 years now. He is very familiar with the interface and is comfortable using it. I tried to switch the launcher but the change was too much for him and he was getting confused and irritated. But he was also annoyed by the ads as was I. This is gonna help us remove the ads and protecting privacy

      Are you talking about Redmi Note 3? Because Mi Note 3 never came to India. Still, I liked Mi Note 3 so much I got it from a seller on ebay. I still use it as a daily driver and it's pretty good. It was one of the first phones with the Snapdragon 660 chipset.

    have installed adb and was be able to connect a samsung S8 , but than i stuck, dont know what command to use to load the folders from the phone or whatever... is there a tool like the disable bloatware on miui 11 for Samsung devices too? or i can just use that miui tool even its on Samsung?

    This process only removes apps from the current user. They are not actually gone. Once we factory reset, we should do over the process again.

      Think about it this way: should you accidentally remove an app you didn't want to, you've got the option to reinstall it easily.

      Its ok, like no one literally no one does a factory reset every single day😂😂.... Most dont even do a factory reset until they are done using that phone and they are switching to new phone 😌😌(like me 😁)

    Just noticed, Doing this does remove the app but storage 3:43, Other Files gets increased. Overall space saved is half than claimed. I guess setup backup or something?

    Why should someone have to go through all of this just to make their phone usable without any ads?
    There should be no ads in the first place and the phone should work without these darn ads right out of the box!
    People are paying for the phone.They deserve an ad free experience!

      My father uses n7 pro and in past , when call comes it only shows in notification panel. .... In homescreen but it even doesn't show on lockscreen
      After latest update ...it comes as floating notification on homescreen and on lockscreen , it doesn't shows who called , it just make sounds ...but i can't see until i unlock and see the notification panel ! ..
      I also done factory reset but that didn't helped .
      .pls help me !

      @@charan5385 Normal phone calls should be fine, unless you're using some app like WhatsApp or Duo for calls, this won't happen. Make sure you turn off battery restrictions for the app you use, and also give it all the permissions it needs in settings, especially the "display over other apps" one :)

    Successfully got Xiaomi ADB/Fastboot running, but the xiaomi-specific bloatware isn't showing up in the list, only the stuff I can access through the normal ADB program. I'm cleaning up an Optus X Pro. Any suggestions? I really want the analytics and assistant off this phone.

    I simply just disable Internet and background activity from unwanted apps,
    no activity = no Internet connection = no ads.
    Problem solved. 😉
    (plus point :
    Phone will work better because of low background traffic)

    You don't need xiaomi debloater just the adb.
    Open adb command prompt, connect your phone and go to apps from settings and fine the app you want to remove. Tap and and click on more info where you'll find the package name like "com.xiaomi.player".
    Now on the command prompt type: adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.xiaomi.player and hit enter and it'll get rid of that app.

      Any one trying this beware! To revert this you'll need to reinstall full ROM from recovery. Your data won't be lost in most cases
