Generally, yes you can travel abroad. However, It depends on how you obtained your legal permanent residency also known as a green card. If you obtained your green card through claiming asylum, then you may not be able to return to your home country and then reenter the 🇺🇲. Therefore, if you obtained your green card through asylum, you should contact an immigration attorney before traveling. If not, then you can travel abroad, but you'll need to check if there are any US travel bans and or home country travel restrictions that may apply. Hope this helps you.
