And I mean, just today there was a short video (prob rudy's) of them on their bus, and dany was doo doo dooing some melody intensively while Ale is focused on her makeup (and clearly saying No, no.... and more in spanish, to rudy about filming her), while Pau is focused on a book or her phone or something.... Dany can be way WAY into the random universe too... but she seems to step up to the leadership role very effectively when needed.
I am really entertained by Dany trying to keep things on track. Good luck with that Dany. 😆 Dany almost totally lost control of the Argentina vlogs (my favorite). The girls were tired and silly, and Pau and Ale couldn't stop laughing. Those vlogs will certainly make your day.
It was the music, particularly 'Survive' from the TedX talk, and then 'Evolve' that really made me pay attention to them as a band. But then I joined their Patreon and got to see these vlogs that get us a great view into who they are as people and sisters and musicians. This is what really what made me a dedicated fan of The Warning (and individually Dany, Pau, and Ale). They are so real, genuine, sweet, dedicated, talented. It makes me want to root more and more for them. There are many of us older rockers, who think of ourselves as surrogate aunts and uncles, who have watched them grow up and feel proud of their accomplishments. Another thing that draws and keeps many fans is that this really is a family affair. Go Mom indeed. She helped out on the lyrics for Narcisista as well as that line from The One. But she is also a very nice person. Several of us met her in New York a couple weeks ago. We were standing outside the venue when she came out with a cart to get the merch boxes from the trailer to set up inside. A couple of us helped her get the cart up onto the sidewalk. When we got in for sound check, she was getting all the merch set up in the sales area, while dad, Luis, was out on the floor making sure all the sound and stage logistics was getting finished by the team. These vlogs and BTS videos are so entertaining and enlightening. Thanks for taking the time to fit this one in.
I just love Dany's Foo fighters shirt. She would have died of shock to find out that in about 4 years, she and her sisters would be opening for them, at a venue with over 55,000 fans.

When ever I am feeling a little...or a lot down, I watch a vlog, or Instagram, or "Funny Moments" video of the girls interacting with each other and before I know it, I am laughing out loud, all alone. Sometimes an hour will go by. Same with their documentaries and interviews. They are so down to earth and so entertaining. They could have a hit sitcom TV series just by being themselves. How they act with each other and with others, is just so endearing. You should react to the 6 part Making of Mayday videos. They are only 5 or 6 minutes each. You could do the whole set in under 45 minutes(with comments)and we will watch them. I always find out new things every time!

I had trepidation about doing a video that's just a reaction and discussion about comments they made in a vlog some years ago.... but they are so infectious that I can't see anybody not enjoying their vlogs!
Pau's mind runs faster than she talks, yes. Amazing as that might seem because she talks fast in either language. She has also said that her English vocabulary is larger than her Spanish vocabulary.
I am happy you are including the vlogs in your QOTMS breakdown/analysis series Don! I don't know if you caught it, but between their references to PANIC AT THE DISCO and MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE, they also mentioned FALL OUT BOY; regarding what their regular playlists consisted of during that time. 👋🤓
Nada Mas records I'm sure was Dany's work, it has her fingerprints all over it lol. I think Dany probably decided to name the new single More simply for the sake of dad jokes and puns too😊. I do remember watching this vlog but I don't remember Mony coming up with changing the lyric from explode to exposed, that was a great call on her part! I know Mony helped them with the lyrics to Narcisista as well. Dany really is like the mom in these vlogs, Pau does most of the talking but Dany always keeps Pau and Ale focused, or attempts to at least lol.
I love how the parents don't get involved in the music writing process and the girls are almost totally independent that way. For instance the mother want the girls to call the band "The Peppermints" the girls quickly vetoed that. She then didn't like Copper Bullets and didn't want the girls to release it on XXI Century Blood but the girls protested and explained that the song was an anthem for the victims of domestic violence. On the other side of the coin the jumped at the lyric change for The One from the mom and their father's idea of releasing Queen of the Murder Scene in chapters.
So in another vlog or interview or live (don’t remember which) Pau said that she relies on voice memos to record song ideas. She has over 500. She once said that her phone was her most precious posession and if she ever lost it TW4 would never happen. One time she lost all her voice memos and Rudy helped her recover them. Sello = Trademark
OMG that's intense...... but there ya go! So that video of them doing a sound check, and Ale is playing some neo-classical spanish guitar thing on her bass that she made up, I presume, and Pau freaks out and grabs her phone and says play it again... this might have become part of some future song idea! Cool stuff :-).... credit where credit is due though, it was ALE who came up with the riff, and Pau who will try and turn it into a song or use it in a song.... not JUST Pau who's the genius.... but Pau SURE IS DRIVEN!
They may be Rock Godess's on stage but, at home , they are just average, charmingly adorable young ladies, and That's their real endearing quality to me!
If you watch other vlogs of The Warning. Dany is always the one keeping it moving. In some of their tour vlogs she literally has a written outline of what it going to be talked about. Dany is awesome.🤗
It’s always interesting to me that when there are 3 of them together, Pau and Dany dominate the VLOG conversations or interviews, but when Ale is with just one of her sisters, she is much more talkative. 😎
yea, she gets easily dominated by her sisters... but seems content about it. She knows the interviews are in good hands with Pau and, occassionally, Dany.

@@don-music I think she has an I phone, but do not take that as gospel. I know they use a Mac Book, so the I phone would give you the easiest interface with that. I have heard that apple stuff is preferred by a ton of musicians, but I am not a musician.

I wonder about a cloud-based or hosted solution, so it could be accessed online? the thing with an iphone app is that if she had an app (not just her, of course, but anyone wanting to do this kind of thing and categorize it quickly and easily when they get inspired), an app lets them record but also quickly file it into a searchable category system that makes sense... OR, possibly, searching based on length, using machine learning to detect if it is an instrument or human voice or whatever, if there is spoken word in it to turn that into searchable text... hmmmm so many ideas in my head..... so little time....
@@don-music Dany is more organized than Pau, to the point of color coding stuff such as her foot switches. However, Dany also tends to lose the picks she has been swiping from Ale. Ale puts her stuff back and keeps her stuff in good condition but for the rare times that she does play with a pick the ones she chose turned out to be something Dany liked better than what she had been using. BTW, there is a 6 part documentary, 5-10 minutes each, for Mayday in the making. Well worth watching. We spotted Nada Mas records immediately. It was in the credits to the lyric video on You Tube, and we melted down. 😂. Did it mean they were quitting music? Did they form their own label? Speculation was rampant, and usually Dany would just sit back and let us stew in our own juices….which she did for a couple of weeks on this occasion as I recall. This vlog quieted a lot of noise on Patreon, I can tell you.
