In a recent interview Pau said she has ADD and takes medication. I am always amazed at how they converse in American note labels (ABC) rather than Spanish note labels (Do Re Mi). All their teachers are Mexican. Hunter is the penultimate song because the Queen dies in the end and The End follows with her dying words. The word Pau was looking for is “foundation.”
I think it was in an interview where they said that it was during their time at Berklee that they learned these American notes, I just don't remember which one, but they were really young which is amazing🤯❤️
From the drawings on the album there is one of a woman in water that it's turning red but I can't remember if there is a knife near by or if she is holding a razor. So the Queen basically kills herself comiting suicide. In the End.
Sometimes it’s just fun to watch Ale’s “antics” during vlogs or interviews. She seems to march to the best of a different drummer at times while always being completely aware of her circumstances.
FYI, when Pau is looking for the equivalent word for “Base” a close translation within context would be the Foundation for the song, or the building blocks. 😊
The controlled chaos of the 3 Sisters is so damn adoring to watch. Thanks Glenn, I know I requested these a while back but happy you found the time to get to this last Vlog, as you guys have been very busy reacting to their music, much appreciation to you and Adrian. I am fairly convinced that Pau has more than one brain and they are always conflicting with each other, cannot explain it any other way....her brain's are going a 100MPH all at once, she is amazing!!! These girls are creative geniuses and love listening to them...puts a huge smile on my face every time. Much appreciation for the Vlogs. They share so many BTS, Vlogs, After concerts and personal information for their fans, have never seen anything like these Ladies in Decades from a superlative Rock Band like this. I am so so happy I discovered these Ladies and listen to them every single day. Cheers, never stop bringing us the Warning! Will say it one more time, have heard and even seen live many many concepts albums over my lifetime...this one here is simply one of the best!!! ⚡⚡⚡⚡ Not sure why you do not have more subscribers Glenn, need more Warning Army to show up here I guess.
I laughed at your "I am fairly convinced that Pau has more than one brain". I said at one time she has a quad-processors in her head to play drums, sing, run the light show, etc.
The parallels between Dust to Dust and The End are absolutely brilliant. Pau on lead vocals both times, a haunting wail from Dany to close both songs, and the chorus changing from "we shall start again" to "its a little too late to start again". Its perfect.
I too am drawn to concept albums and the fact they wrote this so young is amazing and a masterpiece for sure. I would love to see this on Broadway ala Sweeney Todd. I had Rudy's ear at one point when they performed in my area and went blank! Ha, ha. Forgot to suggest that to him but he has probably heard that from others or thought of it. Hope one day they do something with it to bring the story and music to a wider audience. Thanks for your reaction.
I remember the first time I saw this vlog and they said they had introduced the Grim Reaper in Hunter. Everything finally fell into place. If they had called the song Reaper instead of Hunter, I think I could have gotten it much sooner.
I'd love to see them do another concept album, but I am really looking forward to the new album. They're playing around with a lot of new sounds and tunings (drop A is just pure metal), and I love it. I have no idea where they are going, but I'm happily along for the ride. I think this is going to be a landmark year for them.
@@spidernose I know some people don't play the records they keep them sealed, specially if they are going to sell them in the future, if the record goes up in value. Not saying that you are going to do that.
The fact that it is a concept and does take you through a number of moods is what makes it a fantastic album. Each song has it's own flavor, so to speak, which is noteworthy as an album that spans genres and each one is the perfect sound for the topic of the individual song. Then there's the storytelling itself, giving you just enough info, allowing you to make of it what you will.
QOTMS is still my favorite album. Some individual songs from other albums might be a bit more polished and sophisticated but from beginning to end the album is the best I've ever heard.
Don’t know if they did a specific vlog on the artwork. There is Pau Day video where she goes though her favorite albums. Dany is doing the camera work, so she is talking too. They go a little into the artwork from QOTMS. I guess Rudy’s(manager) sister is an artist. She was commissioned to do the art work. They did some hand modeling and such for different pieces. But if I remember correctly none of the facial art is based on any of the three. They also talk a little about the doodles that are in the XXI Century Blood liner notes. They all mean something too.
It always cracks me up to hear them say that they're not encouraging murder, its just a story. 😅😅😅. They could never have the kind of flow that they do if they weren't sisters. We are fortunare to be sharing this place in time with them.
In their vlogs etc... when Ale' wants to say something she will gently lay a hand on her sister(s) and there is silence and Ale says her piece and goes quiet again. She does indeed choose her moments.
These vlogs are so funny . . They burn each other . . And also want to get the english correct . And laugh when they get it wrong . . God theyr lovely . .
Another theory on Hunter is that the Grim Reaper (and it's all in her mind) has eliminated the bad voice in her head, and in The End the good voice is left with the guilt of everything she had done and commits suicide. Also, Pau and Dany discuss the artwork at the end off this VLOG from May 2020. Pau goes through her vinyl record collection. th-cam.com/video/B_-hv7w8v4g/w-d-xo.html
THe Warning...Fantastic Band!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yep, I actually knew what she was talking about - foundation is one way to say it, basically the first laid-down track - which may not be the final track but it starts things - so people know where to start hanging/writing their parts.
The level of musical maturity and just how creative they were at this early stage of their career is still mind blowing to me!
QOTMS is a brilliant album, creative to the brims
Mind boggling the creativity minds of these three girls!!

@@jamesanderson5268 she even manages to activate on a computer, some effects and tracks live, in real time. I'd say she's an octacore

Yes the CD has a miss print.

I'd love to see them do a musical play of QOTMS.

These girls are delightful in every way.
the mayday in the making miniseries is as Insightful as these vlogs, plus the 4 track live session for the mayday ep🤘🏻

So, when they composed this album they were 11, 13, and 15? Is that correct?
A little later I think, Dany would have been 18
@@glennandadriansrocktalk I know that when they performed it at Lunario Dani was 18 so in that same year they composed it?
