Perfect tag - Costco of Cars. It makes perfect sense. The plane flying overhead, the cooling towers in the background and in your mirror, the cinematography is genius. I love it man.
I have a 2024 LE Hybrid, and on your comment that it isn't a luxury vehicle....you are absolutely correct. But, compared to everything else out there today, at the price point (25,413 for me) this thing is very high quality and it rides great, drives great, and is relatively quiet in my opinion. It's built in Japan and there is just a difference in quality. We have a 2024 Camry XLE hybrid, made in Kentucky, and it is half the quality of the Corolla hybrid. Dash rattles, and the wind noise, both from the glass and underneath the vehicle, at 36,000 dollars, is no good. I cannot think of anything else from any other manufacturer today that can compare to the Corolla hybrid. You did a nice job of summing this little gem up.
Nothing it does great besides 50 mpg, reliability, low cost, and high saftey? Im an auto enthusiast & auto technician and these cars are great, perfect economical daily to save gas for your weekend fun cars! Buying one to pair with my 350Z & 8.1L Silverado 👍
I'm from South East Asia, but i weirdly find a charms in American way of thinking and their views of value with their fully featured "base spec" cars as a mere appliance vehicle (compared to SEA market corolla, yours can be considered as fully specced in here 😂) Thank you for sharing your experience with your corolla and hopefully you will make another update with your car!
Yeah, It’s crazy how loaded these are but most cars are here. This is the first year you can’t buy any car with manual windows now that they discontinued the Chevy spark. But we’re in them for like 10hours a week, probably explains why they are so nice!
One of the better reviews I've seen of this car (and I've watched about 100 since I just wrapped up my process of buying one). Unique format, interesting points, nice video examples. The like and subscribe stuff is a little annoying but I get it since you're trying to grow the channel. Appreciate that you didn't waste time commenting on the exterior appearance since that's obviously not what this car is about. I would love to see updates on your Corolla experiences in the future
Thanks for your kind feedback, don’t get me wrong I’m not a fan of the like and subscribe stuff but unfortunately that’s what TH-cam wants! I made another video about the things I hate, wish I knew that going into it, if I had to buy it again I think I would of added the convenience package!
Great point about the trunk... People forget that sedans often have more trunk floor space than SUVs or hatchbacks. SUV/hatchback advantage is only vertical and in the opening size.
Great to see an LE reviewed, thank you. I'm guessing this is the follow-up to the things you hate video. That was also great. I like your review style, refreshing change from POV's, no talking with hand taps on things, and other gimmicky styles. I drive a current gen Kia Soul, previous car was a 2016 Corolla Eco (top fuel economy before the hybrid) that I loved, except for the road noise, wind noise, and lackluster (to say the least) handling. One thing that confuses me: you mentioned the safety features, but seeing that you have plastic wheel covers it means you don't have Blind Spot monitoring, right? To me this is the prize safety feature (maybe because I'm old and 'slipping' a bit). Where I live if you accidentally cut somebody off you could easily get shot. 😬
Never owned a car with blind spots monitoring, I really wish a vehicle with the convince package was available when I was buying this! But I was waiting 6 months and got a little impatient 😂 My view with the safety features is there’s no car under 25k that has as much active daft features as this one!
I ordered a 2022, 6 months later I got their first 2023. I called a ton of dealers, I wouldn't buy this car with the mark ups, some places wanted as much as a Tesla(after rebates)
Does the base Corolla Hybrid LE with steel wheels, FWD and not push button start still come with a spare tire or does it just come with the Fix-a-Flat ??
I got a 2023 hybrid awd corolla. My major issue with it is the pedestrian warning sound that can be extremely borhersome inside the car while driving with low speed. It is a higher pitched metallic sound that I can't get used to. It is there everytime you drive under 25mph which pretty much all the time in city traffic or low speed areas where I work and live. Other than that the car is fine but that sound ruins the driving experience for me.
Not interested in this car but if someone ask me what car they should get and this is on the top of the list. Reliable, inexpensive to maintain, so you won’t go bankrupt owning it.
Thank Read! There’s not really a link, because it’s 3 parts. It’s a THULE wing bar evo, I’m uploading a video about it this week, make sure to subscribe so you don’t miss it!
If you're going to get a Corolla the hybrid is certainly the one to get particularly in the LE. Anything more than the LE and the value equation decreases significantly.
Unrelated to the review of the car, but please don't ride with skis right behind the driver seat like that because if you get rear ended you could get impaled. I used to work in a hospital and saw impalements so often that I spot the hazards everywhere now.
@@Autounboxing hmm, ive noticed a slight rattle if i keep my wallet or phone in the cubby slot, i have a microfiber cloth i put in the cupholder section and to me the noise went away, my only issues are the passenger seatbelt hitting the pillar when driving making a knock noise lol

Great video, you had some really clever shots in there, you've got a future in this business my guy!
Great review! You brought up several excellent points.
Thank you!

How does Costco membership help in car deals??? Thanks.

Nice review!, and good call out on the microphones. Compared to my last car, the driver sounds really really good.
In the process of pre ordering one of these because you can’t find them at a dealership in Texas. My opinion it’s a great value.
Just got one and im happy to hear good things about this car
Congratulations! It’s such a nice car!
Nice I have a 2012 Toyota Prius I love the push start can’t live without that.. plus I love the hatch back for carrying large items.
Yeah it’s crazy how big they are!
Hello does this color scratch easy??? I am between silver and this color thx!
Great video, how did you buy this without absurd dealer fees? Also did you have to wait and pre-order?
I ordered a 2022, 6 months later I got their first 2023. I called a ton of dealers, I wouldn't buy this car with the mark ups, some places wanted as much as a Tesla(after rebates)
@@Autounboxingas much as a Tesla? that’s fucking stupid. Yeah yeah I know “because we can”. It’s still stupid.
That display takes me back at least 10 years when monitors had more bezel than screen.
Remind me of my 15year old Samsung tv lol

Had to replaced the alternator on my 2013 Corolla and it was not fun to get the serpentine belt back on.
You've many interesting and innovative shots, why not more videos
I'm from PA too where the traffic cone is the official flower of the state. 🙂
You’re getting 65mpg!? Are you being cautious on the acceleration to reach that?
Good review. Thanks for the upload
Thank you!

Good review. Real life review .
I took the hints and I subscribed.
Really appreciate it! Thank you!
Wow how did you manage 65mpg? I just bought a 2024 last Thursday and I’m at 52mpg. I guess I need to break it in.
Not interested in this car but if someone ask me what car they should get and this is on the top of the list. Reliable, inexpensive to maintain, so you won’t go bankrupt owning it.
Yeah, this certainly fits the bill, if you can find a dealer that sells one at msrp it’s a win, civics also a good option depending on markups
How long are your skis? That's actually one of my concerns
169cm, fits 2 sets perfectly! I’m uploading a video about my ski rack this week, subscribe so you don’t miss it
Do you know how much room there is left? My skis are 178 so they might not fit. I think I'll need that ski rack lol
Could always run them down the center! But honestly at that length it’s never a bad idea to put them on the roof!
Thanks. Really helpful. 👍🏻👏🏻
thank you!
Great review! Can you please put the roof rack link

the title is so on point.
What color is this
Yes
Welcome to Costco. I love you.
The best!
The Civic has optional folding rear seats? Wow that's odd.
Yeah on the sport trim and the discontinued LX trim you can only fold the whole thing down.
You should be a Toyota salesperson! you just sold me on this car.
Thanks man! The cars not without its flaws, If you haven’t checked out my other video, give it a watch, goes over some of the issues!
@@Autounboxing I will check it out. Thanks
Why no hatchback.
I wanted one but they didn’t offer a hybrid.
How much did you pay out the door
Yes
There is so much love!
Yeah man! It still blows me away all the standard features this comes with!

😂 you should load things like “this trunk will hold 2 mysterious rolled rugs, a hatched and a shovel” 😂🤣
Honestly not a bad idea 😂
Beat bang for your buck

Yeah I put them behind the passenger seat if no one is there or just use the ski rack
Its a small car for me and i could never buy base trim
This car is used in corporate fleets
Remove those crossbars and watch your highway MPG skyrocket.
Just took them off! Those cross bars almost cost me a hundred miles a tank!
Sorry, Houston is the land of the pot holes😂
You forgot to mention that the brakes will last FOREVER!
Should be interesting to see how long they last with the regeneration! With the radar it’s always on the breaks!
Too much like and subscribe distractions.
Wash and clean your interior before making a video!
Careful now, he’s under my protection.
I have the same exact vehicle. this is the best review ive seen.
Thanks man! Really appreciate it! Does your driver door rattle when you listen to music?

I think I’ll have to get mine checked out, I don’t have anything in the doors and it still rattles with music playing.
