    I like the idea of drying it with dehydrator. The oil came out pure and clear.

    • @joyfulcook
      @joyfulcook  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Well-done! You are inspiring!
    Just wondering why you didn't leave the fresh grated carrot in oil for a few days like you did with the dessicated carrot in oil?

    • @joyfulcook
      @joyfulcook  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Remember The fresh grated carrots was heated in a pot of boiling water; that process extracted the beta carotene from the carrot so there'll be no need to leave it in the oil.
      The dehydrated carrot on the other hand went through a slower process hence it stayed in the carrier oil for as longer period of time. :) ❤

    • @chidinmaobi4526
      @chidinmaobi4526 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@joyfulcook Thanks for your response.
      What if the grated carrot is added directly to the oil and allied to infuse for a few days just as when making garlic oil
      Maybe apply your lesson and see how it turns out
      Keep up the good work!

    • @joyfulcook
      @joyfulcook  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven't tried that. Will do to see what happens. Will definitely try that out!

      The reason behind the two different tutorial is for the viewers to choose which ever works for them best. One method is the sharp sharp method for those that want it right now, while the other will require some patience
