turn keep player centered OFF so you can see the whole entire map and get intel from what your teammates are seeing from across the map with keep player centered you’re only seeing a small portion of the map and have less info

Personally, I found having a bind for walking to be amazing, after realizing I don’t really need an inspect/spray button. Granted I’m a claw player, so my paddles are free for whatever, but having a walk button I feel like imo, is 100% a necessity.
Why does the enemy shoot walking and always hit my head somehow.... That's one thing I hate about this beta bro I can't swing corners without getting killed instantly while they are jumping around and running 😭😒

Valorant for consoles will be the FPS that will have the biggest gap between players, something similar to R6. Players have to understand that Valorant is a game that requires precision and aiming positioning and not simply shooting like in COD.
Exactly that’s why I always liked R6 more. Cod just take 2 brain cells to run around and shoot. In Val and R6 u actually have to aim and play smart and patiently.

Hey I just started and, my newest controller has back paddles (not an issue as it emulates another button). But I’m so used to bumper jumper tactical across many games, but can’t find out how to make it work as the defaults don’t really align with it…I’d like some tips on that (I haven’t gotten far in the vid yet idk if you mention it I apologize). i tried the 20 focus but on save rounds where i’m using the classic and want to single shot i whiff because the sens is much different then the base sens. do you only alt fire or are you used to the fast focus sens with the classic
I’ve been using max sensitivity with extreme aim curve as it feels the most like dual zone to me. I also don’t use focus as switching between sensitivities just messes with me. Overall I feel like I still have fantastic aim like in Overwatch. Most of the time I miss is due to bad movement or bad trigger discipline
I think its so wack that L1 and R1 are locked so i cant use bumber Junper at all or remap those abilities, i have no idea they decided to lock certain abilities to one keybind with no way to change it, i love the game but thats really lame, especially scince i use bumper jumper in every game, but cant use it here.

@@madecassoll it’s just a mini ads feature, it’s not necessary because it just allows you to slow down your sensitivity. if you get used to not using it it’ll be good but you don’t have to! my settings are just what I happen to think feels amazing
I have been dropping kills left and right using the focus mode so I thought it was the way to go so when I first watch this I just ignored you and kept doing what I was doing. That was until I started running into your reason why you don’t use focus mode. It was to slow dying to people I had the jump or angle just because the focus mode was to slow. I now changed my settings to what you use after coming back to this video and I can say from experience my aim is 10x better then what it was and it was good before but now it’s crisp.
Valorant has been so much more enjoyable than Overwatch honestly…hcpefully you stick to it and keep making Valorant content for us newbies on console!

I like shooting with the bumpers, I just find that I usually shoot faster and my aim isn’t thrown off by trying to push the triggers in.

Aim down sights, or crouch..to aim use focus and press down the right thumbstick. Hope it helps a bit 🙏

the idea is that there is no curve in focus mode so you can make faster movements clearing corners and then use base sense to get the shot

Deadzone settings too pertain to each controller, and it’s been said too to HAVE stick drift but BARELY. So that it registers, but not too much

I came here for the deadzone cause I never understood it, I got some of these setting already gonna tweak up the zones & see if it helps.

the trick is to learn to never use focus mode, but I’ll get into that in a video coming in the next 2 days :)

To Anyone on Console - PLEASE DO NOT USE any virtual surround (7.1), u should keep it on default stereo and ENABLE HRTF in the Audio tab!!!!
not sure if you know this but you get aim assist in focus mode therefore would be the better one to have slower sens.
