Honestly you’re probably the only TH-camr that give tips that actually make me better at the game than I expected, you make me rank up from silver 1 to Gold 2 within 3 months ( I play like 2 hour a day ), Thanks man, and continue on giving cool tricks to all of the viewer out there.
It’s because he’s keeping it simple most these other guys think you play exactly like them and it’s annoying lol, this guy stays on the surface nd not digs into his tips like a lot of others
You won’t start cooking, if you practice every match you play than it will be good, however it is hard to do that, but don’t worry with enough practice you’ll be cooking in no time
try playing a game and just not shooting your opponents at all it will make you realise how much time you have. the reason it feels like you get insta one tapped is because of panic
1:38 I think one good thing to mention is that, you probably have more time than you think. Unless you're enemies one tap you with their 500 hertz monitors, before you even see them
Extra tips for that counter strafe technique - Master spray pattern only the first 8 bullet. - aim at enemy head before your character body stops. - Do not shoot if you know you cannot get 1 tap - Practice A D A D in the range & deatrchmatch 30 mins before go comp, ONLY USE SHERIFF - Do not afraid to die just use Sheriff and aim at the moving head. - If necessary use your knife to learn self control. - Crosshair placement every corner - Lastly master counter strafing until it becomes second nature to you Unlocks more micro adjustment abilities: - Make sure your mouse size grip to your hand - Only two finger on the mouse, other 3 finger must hold the mouse & touching the mousepad - Aim using your arm, wrist, finger & tip of your finger skin.
The idea of flicking is definitely something that you have to get used to first, making micro adjustments is better once you've learned fast flicking, 1 smooth motion isn't the way to go for learning that though. Instead of micro adjustments, aim for the head and do 2 mouse movements, 1 to go a bit higher in ur headflick and the other to move to the enemy, helps with learning the micro adjustment timing.
counter strafing is NOT required in valorant, in counterstrike your movement carries a lot more moment thats why its required, but here, its no different from letting go of the key, people are just shooting faster than it takes for the key to disengage, which gives the movement error. even your last shot on the demonstration before moving to icebox showed you still made that same error. even the icebox example you were at a dead stop before you even started aiming.
@@KarmaTurnipif you were planning to hold down both keys, I'd agree with you. But most people will see the tap of the opposite key as lifting the first key. It's just a timing thing people need to practice, counterstrafing has no benefit other than complicating things
Instead, learning deadzoning is much better. This is when you move from left to right and theres a small window on non-movement when you switch directions, which lets you shoot a bullet and then keep moving right after. This can throw off enemies while you fight them and its harder for them to shoot you. I recommend watching Woohoojin's gunfight hygiene video to learn more
@@KotteKumardead zoning is great for sending bullets around cover. Id say bursting is better for more open or fairer fights. Buy when you have cover to play around deadzoning is very very strong
@@KarmaTurnip idk if it's just me or other people also have this issue of as when i press the other key for coming to a complete stop i find it very difficult pressing both they keys at the same time and then shooting also, is it just me or you guys have it too?
1. Holding: Yes i admit that i hold angle that are pretty close to the entry point (thanks for tip) 2. Dont forget this: I play chamber so i mostly hold angles and dont rush too much so i dont really stress out the "Aim on Head Level" thingy 7. US BRO US 8. Most important: Yep you are correct my rank: ASC-2
For the counter strafing tip you can also go to the settings to enable the graph "shooting error" to see if your shots are accurate, if they are blue they are not accurate if they are orange they are accurate
Counter strafing is a good mechanic to learn but in valorant it’s not crucial like it is in cs. In cs, when you let go of a movement key, you glide a little further in that direction. In valorant, when you let go, you just stop immediately.
Guardian in low elo is the spam wham until I body shoot people to death bc the first 3 bullets spammed from the guardian is super accurate :p. its so annoying lmao.
in the 7 th part: Remember, Phantom is good for begginers as its spread is lower, its supressed so you can shoot through smokes easier, and it has a bigger firerate
8:15, you can actually. Crouching reduces the spread making sheriff a bit more useable in long range. Same is the case with classic and frenzy, crouching would reduce the spread a bit. So, this actually makes the bucky have 4 ranges where it is lethal, (left click no crouch, left click crouch, right click no crouch, right click crouch)
6:41 “I’ve been doing this since the first day I started playing valorant” guess what buddy, I’ve been doing this since I was 10 years old…..literally lmao
Correct me if I'm wrong, but counter strafing isn't a thing in Valorant, It came from CSGO and everybody just assumed it applies to Valorant too. But a few people tested it and found that it doesn't actually help, since in Valorant you stop instantly when releasing the movement keys Edit: this video shows it well: th-cam.com/video/PssMw773_iY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=vmx1eknnm4JuDacJ
You don’t instantly stop but counter strafing also does not make a difference. You use counter strafing for deadzoning which is a mechanic when your firing error is 0 when you’re still in movement because Valorants firing error system is based off of velocity. I think MrLowLander used counter strafing like deadzoning basically but not entirely as he didn’t fully strafe in the other direction
5:09 if you find it hard to press D you can also press both A and D at the same time or simply stop pressing movement keys, they all work the same in valorant
Tips for flicking on console(either one) lightly jiggle your joystick the the area you want to move and when you aim, make sure you pull back two seconds after lining up with it. It takes time but this is how I’ve learned to flick on PS5 controller. This works on Xbox as well, just do it a bit less strong
4:20 there..wat i was looking for answer because i did a same..i stop when move and shot but dint know it have window count as "moving"..need to cancel out that movement.
Just play guardian only. It teaches you to aim for head level, punishes you for crouch spraying and going for body shots, improves movement, better positioning, makes you better at holding angles. It basically punishes you for doing mistakes that the vandal and phantom would reward you for. Also holding close is okay if the other guy has an operator.
I misunderstood counter strafing till date. I thought it meant constantly moving left and right like jiggling so that enemy can't headshot you. Thnx for explaining the actual meaning of counter strafing
Best tip is to adapt to your enemy’s if they are playing offensive play defensive if they have a Jett that keeps rushing have a cypher trip on site just use your abilities to adapt to how your enemy’s play
counter strafing doesnt exist on valorant. It teachnically does, but the amount of time you gain is less than a game tick, so in reallity doesnt make any difference
Playing Call Of Duty has honed me to never camp a peak directly on the opening spot always be slightly to side of where the peak is since people will push further out when it comes to something like that
I didnt know counter strafing was a thing. I thought crouching after peeking was the way since this is what i see my opponents doing. The friend who invited me to val didn't mention this so massive thanks bro.
crouching after peaking should only be done when you are peaking ranges less than ~15m. Also, if you are in gold or below, the enemy will likely be aiming at the chest which will give them a headshot.
thanks for the great tips, I have question tho, does 'skin' makes really different? cos I feel like its a way more accurate than non skin rifle. is this a thing ? thanks!
hi mr lowlander your the reason i never quit valorant and now im really good and i want to give you as much love as i can and hope everyone else does and btw i love you voice
Let me tell you a trick to improve: "Play without headphones", I mean with zero sounds. Your all senses except hearing will become 100% active while playing. You will notice that you will be covering every angle where the enemy can peek because you have no sound, you will focus more on your aim because you have only few time to kill the enemy, your reflexes and aim will become more better and you will be connecting good head shots. Why i am saying this is because we are very much dependent on sounds in valorant especially the footsteps and our brain focus more on hearing then actually aiming the enemy and covering the angles. Well this worked really better for me, you must try as well and see.
Actually counter strafing is huge thing in cs but in Valo its not that big of an impact. Its way easier to practice your timing to shoot the moment you stand still with using only one Key.
I play valor on console specifically PS5 and flicking is a skill that you either learn quickly or takes you a long time when you’re on control all depends on what you play taking your time is a good thing. It will allow you to build the skill better so you get the skill of flicking it will be great you’ll be able to flick and slow down and get head shots I’m still getting used to playing controller and I can computer and a controller is 100% different on valor at least in my opinion take your time it doesn’t matter if you die it matters if you get the ability to headshot
Without ADS the vandal first shot is actually the same as the sheriff at 0.25. Not super significant, but good to know. Ghost is a little worse (.1 degree more spread I think) and the phantom and the guardian are better (guardian at about 0.1 without ads 0.0 with ads, and phantom is less than the vandal but more than the guardian.
ok about counter strafing, I dont know how to say this but my key inputs feel like its on high sens you know how if you're on high mouse sens and move a tiny bit, you'll do a big flick in game? it kinda feels like that like I'll press A or D once to counter strafe but I just go in the other direction, idk how to tap it to stop earlier
My problem is that I’m inconsistent cause I’m new to PC and started Valorant about a week ago but the matchmaking puts me against more experienced players multiple times in a row despite me clearly having a hard time facing them. I’m lvl 15 so I only play unranked. And it doesn’t help that my teammate flames me in chat telling me to just aim and how much I suck when I’m trying to hit the lvl 300 Jett that’s dashing left and right and jumps on my head, while I’m trying to stay calm and aim before shooting. It’s so discouraging and then I play more passively with each round cause I don’t want to make mistakes and I know I don’t even have a chance against these opponents.. it’s mentally exhausting. Then ofc we get the “EZ” in chat from the enemy. It’s not fun at all and no I’m not learning anything from it, just makes me play worse. Even if I muted text chat I know it wouldn’t do much cause matchmaking is the issue.
Playing with your favorite skin also helps. And I'm not joking. Every time I pick a purple Kuronami from the floor or my tm8 drops me one I'm suddenly insane at the game
