i think you misunderstood the aim curve of your sticks. they dont affect aim assist, they modify the way your sticks react. the second misunderstanding is that your focus mode doesnt do anything at all when you have base sens and focus sens on the same number. the focus mode is designed for slowing down your sens to better snap on the target. i hope that helps.
I play on pc and console now, the game launches ill defintiely be playing comp with my friends, one thing id like is to have intermission open vc between the two teams like cod does in snd, its nice to be able to trash talk, only thing i think console will have a con on is people dont speak on console for some reason and i think when comp comes out, youll have to probably reach like diamond or ascendent before people put on a mic
I wish they would explain what everything is I didn’t even know where to start with my sens and the ability to change your deadzone for everything not just ads

Running the same sense for focus defeats the purpose, no? There would be no reason to go into focus as it would be the exact same as your normal sensitivity.
I’ve had fun with the beta so far still having issues with my settings though trying to find what’s usable but will still allow me to still be accurate suckes a little bit since I’ve had to play the beta alone and a game like this is just better with friends
what worked for me is putting my sens as high as i could to start, and when it felt too fast bumping it down by 2 to try and narrow in what felt comfortable. valorant can definitely be a tough game for solo queue, maybe consider swinging by our discord server if you need a squad. /teamsummertime
Can someone help me. After my first game I lose control of my LS button? It won't work. Instead it changes something down in the right hand corner and then I can't select a hero.
i would say either try resetting your game app or making sure that you didn’t accidentally remove the binding for your left stick while controller mapping
You have to restart the game. It’s a bug in the beta. Your left stick is still working it just won’t show what’s highlighted. Happens after a few games for me on two separate days. Restarting fixes it.
@@blakecissel it works the first game so it has to be binded but I will check though I've seen a few ppl having this issue so it may be something we're doing but regardless it shouldn't happen
@@Flashchenzo yes I can sometimes luckily move it to a random character but I've got a warning before bc I couldn't get it to a character to select one. Also it happens to me after every game so I have to dashboard and restart the game after every single game. I hope they fix this as I would love to play the game
try logging into riot on your phone/desktop - acct . riot games . com. then go to to “login management” and then “log out everywhere.” i know this has worked in the past

The aim curve doesnt affect aim assist, its the curve of your stick when you push it

I'm a linear believer in every game I play on controller but gonna give light and dot crosshair a try after watching this
same. i tried linear in this game and it had really weird ramp up near enemy at least from what i found
the aim curves are not changing the aim assist stickiness. They are curves that determine the ramp up in aiming

Your monitor could be the issue. Needs to be 1440p at 128hz or more
put your ps settings to performance mode
check in your console system settings and make sure that its set to “auto” instead of “off” i’m on ps5 just for ref

In the controls- movement settings check to see if walk/run threshold is on .98 if not, in my experience it would randomly make me walk instead of run
