- A beginner tutorial on how to use Fusion 360 and you end up making a keychain!
Here's a link to the models that I make that you can download for free: thangs.com/ElijahC - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
Thanks for this! I was having such a hard time figuring this out. Exactly what I needed. Great job!
Very Helpful for a beginner. Thank you
This was awesome. Exactly what i was looking for. Thanks!
Very helpful, I appreciate the video!
This video has helped me a lot. Thank you
This was very useful thanks! :)
Thank you so much! this was very helpful
You killed it, thank you
Heck yeah budd, much love on the info for my old self!!!! 🤘
nice tuto, thanks
very helpful thanx
I mostly just needed to sort out how to do the ring attachement easier didn't see extruder bit had drop down that included join by defualt it was cut. But learning about using O to speed up making shapes in shapes really was nice. My first two auto cads were just snow globe bases for cheap ones that didn't have any, so I had to caliper it, then make two circles in exact spots. Would been faster to just hit O and extend it 5mm than then way I did it lol.
Thank you, I greatly appreciated you making this video. It saved my backside today lol
You're welcome! I'm glad it worked out
Thanks 👍
Thank yoooouu !!!
Thank you, you help me with Text offset 🙂
Well explained, can you tell me what the fonts called as I like it please
I'm pretty sure it's called Lemon
@@VerySus This Font not avaible in Fusion. how to use it
Thanks helped me alot, eventhough when i tried the lemon font the holes of the d were filled in when i extruded it.
Yeah, a lot of the fonts can act pretty goofy.
Hi Eli! Very good video! -Brooke
Thanks! 😉
Awesome video! Could you tell this font's name?
Yeah, I think it's called Lemon
Hi Eli I seem to be having issues with the fillet as it keeps on going the opposite way than i want it to go.
If you're making it in a 2D plane, sometimes you need to click on both sides of the edges to make sure it selects it correctly, or if it's in 3D maybe some of the settings on the side got mixed up. also, when you're messing with text, the geometry is really weird and sometimes it just doesn't work. I haven't really had any problems with fillets, but hopefully this helps!
What font was that?
I think it was called Lemon? This was a long time ago and it seems like other people had trouble finding it. Hopefully this helps at all and good luck!
Hi Eli, how do I extrude running writing? it keeps coming up with an error. Thank you!!
Running writing? What do you mean?
How do you make it where the bottom isn’t open
What is this printed with how do you get the final product
I believe it was printed with PLA from Matterhackers and after you finish the 3d model, you export it out of Fusion 360 and into a slicer like Cura. After you export it from the slicer, you put it into your printer and hit print! :) Hope this helped
I can't do it, can you send me the file and I can just edit it in fusion and change the names?😔
I follwed the step , in the software lemon font is not available. kindly help me to download the fonts and to add it fusion.
Unfortunately, I do not know how to insert fonts into Fusion 360 and this video was made quite a while ago, so there's a good chance it's been removed as you said. Hopefully, you can find a font that will suit your needs and good luck!
I followed your step-by-step until about 4:47 in your video. I received errors that I can not get past. One of the problems is that your video does not show the individual windows and the exact selections that you are making. For instance, I have an extrude window which I assume that you have somewhere like a dual screen. I do not have a choice for a thickness but cannot see exactly what you are clicking on.
The recording software was being weird and it wouldn't show the extrusion windows, sorry! Sometimes messing with fonts can make fusion super buggy. I'm not an expert at troubleshooting or designing for that matter😂, so here are some of the videos that I learned how to design from, and hopefully they could help you out! Some really good channels that also might have some stuff to help you out are Maker's Muse, 3D Printing Nerd, and Make Anything.

How do you send it to the printer
It depends on which printer you have, just look at a manual or something similar for your printer and it should tell you.
This is a terrible, tutorial. you dont show what buttons your pushing, dont show what popups your editing. and you go so darn fast. very hard to keep up
Sorry if it wasn't useful for you; it seems like lots of other people can understand it, but thanks for the honest feedback anyways! If you want a super good tutorial, one good TH-cam channel to check out to learn Fusion is Maker's Muse.
same, i got most of it, but cannot figure out how to extrude at different heights.
