  • In this tutorial, I'll show you how to create a 3D printable Lightbox using Fusion 360. We'll start by converting an image to SVG format using vectorizer.ai, then import it into Fusion 360 to design the Lightbox. I'll guide you through the process step by step, ensuring you can follow along easily. While this video is geared towards Bambu Labs machines, the Fusion 360 part about making the 3D model could help anyone. Once the 3D model is complete, I'll share the specific Bambu Studio and Orca Slicer settings that have yielded the best results for printing Lightboxes.
Lightbox and filament settings as well as the easter bunny lightbox are available on Maker World:

I wanted to share some additional insights regarding the 'Reduce infill retraction' setting mentioned in the video. Upon further consideration, it's important to note that this setting doesn't retract filament when the travel occurs within the infill area. Considering that the faceplate doesn't have infill, it's possible that this setting may not have a significant impact on your print quality or performance.

    Perfeito :)

When I try to offset the 2nd offset the - 2.45mm off of the 10.5mm offset it gives me an error to use the original model as the offset origin.

Thanks for the video your light boxes are amazing! Do you have a reference for LED light with a longer power cable. So that your not limited to how close you need to be to the power source

@@ronr179 Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed the video and find the light boxes amazing. Regarding your question about LED lights with longer power cables, one of the easiest solutions is to get a USB to USB extension cable. However, what I personally do is order USB cables with on-off switches and exposed cable ends from AliExpress. Then, I solder them to the LEDs, which gives me more flexibility in terms of power cable length and placement.

@87livinglegend sure you can do it without ams via layer pause colour change but I'm not sure how you would set it up for a light box. If he has a pre prepared file that you can print directly from maker work. Would make the process easier.
