Your hitch is designed to pull , lets say 2000lbs, when you thump-pull you may be exceeding such capacity 5X or more, so your hitch or the bus hitch could breake, transforming itsel into a deadly flying projectile. 2000lbs hitch is rated as such capacity on a static non thump-pulling basis. If you dont have enough traction to pull the bus without the thump, then you do not have capacity to pull the bus. There are expanding ropes specifically designed for thump-pull use, they will absorb the shock of the initial pull and then returning such energy for a more efficient and safe pull. @@Anomize23 far beyond the length of your nose there are many other video sources. Now if preventing a serious or lethal accident is drama for you, then you have other issues that must be addressed with a psychiatrist specialist
It’s hard to predict the future. Just like saying the rope could have snapped, it’s also possible another large vehicle could have smashed into the bus full of children. I’m glad this person stopped, helped, and was a person of action.
@@amigo_overland winter in the mountains is amazing, but all throughout summer it's amazing too, only thing with summer is we tend to have lots of forest fires because of how dry it is up here. So some years the smoke gets pretty bad in the summer, that's the only downside.

Get a proper kinetic recovery rope, makes a ton of difference and saves your hitch/frame.
