I am keeping it and give it some tlc. I live 25 miles out of town in northern Arizona and it put it in 4wd everyday. I forgot how capable it is. Pulled a hero out of sand last week. Pretty different nowadays. Totally different engines and the 4Runner is 4 link rear suspension vs tacomas leaf springs
pretty similar until the most recent tacoma came out in like 2016.
4runners still made in Japan, that's where the real quality comes from
