If anyone trying this recipe, keep aside 5 hours of your life. I think she has probably mixed premade Mawa/Khoya or milk powder. 15 minutes is not realistic whatsoever..

Hello, I have a question, I live in US and we don’t find good thik milk here it’s too watery, and so we use heavy cream to prepare Indian milk sweets, what do you prefer for this I have never made kalakand before so I’m not sure how I can prepare this kalakand here with this thin texture of milk.
I clicked on the video noticing the title as it is festive time (Indian new year - Ugadi is approaching) and thought of giving it a go. But the process you showed must have taken more than 15 minutes (as nowhere it was mentioned at what timeframe one should switch over to next process). So to that extent title is misleading.
