- In this video we will see how to make milk sweet recipe in tamil. This milk sweet / Kalakand is made by curdling milk with some lemon juice which creates some precipitated milk curds and these are then caramelized under heat to impart that rich, chewy, caramel taste. Compared to the regular milk sweet, this version has a lot more texture and chewiness to it. This Kalakand recipe is popular during festival time and can be topped with some nuts.

Ingredients:
2 Liter full fat Milk (8 cup)
1 cup Sugar(200g) can be increased to 1.25 cup
juice of half Lemon
2+2 tbsp Ghee
pinch of Cardamom powder

Tried it yesterday. Came out awesome. The color especially was so nice to see. My 2.5 yrs old son loved it. How many days can it be kept out because I am thinking once it’s put in the fridge the taste might change.
