In March, me and a few others tried to record this Decot after hearing that Delavan now tests with the county. Well with our luck at the time, all of Delavan's sirens failed to go off for the county test. Needless to say, I got quite fed up as we had been told 3 different things by different people from the city. So to get a clear answer, I emailed the city clerk, who then directed me to the police chief, and was finally informed that the systemwide fail was due to a programming issue and that the following month it would be fixed. So, me, Holly, and Tony all went out back to the Decot, and was pleasantly surprised when it activated with the county! What I was not expecting was for it to do a full 3 minutes (hence why no zoomed out shot for this video), as I'm guessing they did not program cancel tones for their sirens, hopefully, they don't end up doing such because it would be nice to have a place in Walworth county that tests more than the typical 30 seconds.
