- Just wanted to update you guys on some of the changes I did to the mega moto 80 with the built predator 224. Kinda drag bike inspired. Let me know what y’all think. Thanks for watching!!!

Looks and sounds great. There’s nothing wrong with running a chain tensioner. There are several styles out there to choose from. From clamp on , to weld on to bolt on. Post a video from the dragstrip when you get a chance.
Hey thanks!! I appreciate that! Yeah I’ve put a tensioner on since that video. It’s a nice one from RFC that bolts onto the side cover on the bottom 2 holes like where you would mount a torque converter. I hope you hit that sub button for ya boy!!! Thanks again!!!

Yeah I had the gold on gold on there before I stretched it. That cheap chain on there now was just to see if everything was lined up. Just gotta run up to gps to grab another chain on Monday. And the Speedo was from Amazon

awesome build i’m trying to pulse pump mine as well could u explain or give a starting point on how to do it i have the same side cover and valve cover with a pwk
Hey thanks for the compliment brother! If you have the same billet side cover it’s easy. Just have to get a barb and thread it into the top oil fill hole on the side cover. It’s better to use the valve cover vent in my opinion tho. Your pulse pump will have 3 ports. One is fuel in, one is fuel out and the other is for the pulse signal. Run a line from the valve cover to the port on the pump that calls for the pulse signal. Hope that helps. If not let me know and I’ll do a short video on how to. Thanks again

@@rpm_staxxthere’s a few ways to do it especially if you have this same valve cover and side cover. Send me your email and I’ll send you a quick video on how mine is set up. It’s pretty easy but it’d be a lot easier to show you than to try and explain.
it will like the 52 tooth sprocket! I normally run a 50 to 54 tooth sprocket on stock engine bikes. Usually get into the 30mph range with them on a bone stock engine. I tried a 40 and it was a dog off the line! I have a 50 tooth on my mild 224 behind a juggernaut driver on a big tire bt200x its hitting 60mph and it gets there!

@@GooLGaming if it still has the 79cc or whatever they come with don’t bother tryin to upgrade it, you can’t do anything to em. Just grab you a predator 212 or I recommend the predator 224. The 224 is basically a 212 stroker motor and they have tons of torque! Thanks for the sub by the way, really appreciate that

Does the dual piston caliper use same holes as the smaller one
No it doesn’t. I got some doodle bug axel hangers from go power sports and used a grinder to cut a curve in them to match the mega moto frame. The doodle bug hangers are set up for the larger brakes. So I got a 6” stretch and got to use the bigger brakes. Thanks for watching and hopefully your subscribed

I'm working on a motovox with a ghost 18/75 set up nothing crazy its for the street
Right on! The ghost is a cool engine for what it is. I swapped out the flywheel for a stock tilly one since they are good for up to 8k rpm to ditch the rev limit and put a stock 212 coil, 7 degree advanced timing, and a mikuni 22mm carb. I’ve had 3 mega motos, love the small frames. I’d love to get ahold of a vox and a doodle bug sometime. Thanks for checking out the channel and stay up!
@@JVScustoms I bought a ducar 212 while back and rod let loss so I had a pvl 17k flywheel laying around to throw on the ghost

Where did you by the break set up
I got everything from go power sports. I got a set of doodle bug axel hangers and cut them to match the curve of the mm frame. Those hangers are set up to take the big duel piston caliper. @JVS Custom’s new to this mini bike deal, bought the ghost today, going to stretch frame 4" do you think it's necessary to run a torque converter? and one last question, the oil catch can where is it catching oil from
@@timheller5929 hey thanks for checking out the channel. No I don’t think a torque converter is necessary, depends on what your wantin to do with it. I have a TC on my Coleman ct200u-ex since it’s my go to off road mini bike. If you do go with a tc I would suggest gettin a juggernaut driver for it. Tc are good for really good low end torque. I ride wheelies and stuff all day and still get about 45 mph with my ghost. That mega moto with the 224 is running a clutch and it’s my go really fast bike. The 224 is fully built and is a beast! And about the oil catch can it’s running from the valve cover and is for catching the blow by( oil that gets past the rings) hope you consider subscribing and don’t hesitate to hit me up with any questions, appreciate ya and stay up

I haven’t had a chance to test the top speed yet with the re gearing. I’m going to put the new racing chain on and the steering damper and hopefully test it out this weekend. With the 65 tooth sprocket I had on there it’d run 65 @ about 9,000k rpm. Thanks for watching and hopefully your subscribed
