This beats my time as a student at the Illinois Art Institute, and it didn't cost me $600 for one class in one semester. Those classes were such a scam. College can blow me. Thank you for these awesome videos!
Yeah, the same situation in Poland with regular universities. A lot of people attend them just to get a degree but they don't teach you anything unless you want to learn it by yourself. I know it improves search skills and you can meet a lot of new amazing people but it's the worst possible way to acquire new information.
Jesus, your tutorials are extraordinary. An amazing display of thought process that is a must-have for PS proficiency. Newcomers usually need basic stuff and fast results, otherwise, it gets discouraging if it is too complicated. Your channel has the basic, intermediate, and advanced material. Sure, I can reproduce what you just did mechanically, but in these advanced videos (at least for me), you demonstrate the true power of Photoshop and give me the incentive to carry on learning. Anyone can change the color of an object on a white background, but when I come back to some of your videos that seemed advanced to me until some time ago, I say to myself: "I fully understand that now" - it's priceless. Thank you for being a great teacher and helping me to understand the meaning of the process and not solely mechanically learn the tools.
The thing I like about your tutorials is not just the subject at hand, but all the individual tips and techniques that are used to create the end result. I may never have the need to create a see through bottle, but will certainly have use for all the tools used to accomplish it. Thank you.
Dude Im a professional, I work as a graphic designer for a tv station in my country and you just showed me easily four or five things I never knew about using photoshop... Mindblown (and subscribed)
I personally love that you can have Photoshop for 20+ years of experience and still learn more. Nice work on the tutorial. You are a master of the blend modes and have some of the best explanations of their use I have ever experienced.
There is no better Ps education that what what can be found on youtube. Between you and unmesh from PiximPerfect there is no longer a mistery about Ps. Thanks for all you do.
This video is nothing less than brilliant. It keeps me amazed in how many ways you can twerk Photoshop, every time I think I have seen it all, You come up with new fantastic ways of doing it. I think that the dislikes must be from competitors that do not like to see someone passing them by in skills ……………....…….
I am a complete beginner at photoshop, but I needed to get rid of a background on a glass jar for work (I do social media posts), and I had no clue how to do it. I watched this video once, beforehand, and then again pausing it while I did the steps, and I did it! After just 2 watches, with no formal training on photoshop! I still had to play around with it to make it look realistic: it's a clear mason jar that is supposed to be a light fixture. I ended up duplicating the group to add some depth to it and make the inscription on the jar more visible. I then added a brightness layer in the bottom group, and I added a Bevel/Emboss effect to the top group. I also added a drop shadow effect to the bottom group to make it pop from the background. I also did the lid of the jar as a separate layer so that I could keep the original color, (it wasn't looking right with the adjustments I made to the glass). THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS INCREDIBLY HELPFUL VIDEO!!!!!!!!!
No matter what the cost of any course is it is because your Heart is so truly good that's why You teach Free of cost and that's why I love your way of working technique and channel
