    Great to have this information, but I'd really like to see this done with a busy background. Generally, you only get a photo like this created in a studio. For practical purposes, you would have to set up this type of image. You wouldn't always have the option to put a white background behind a bottle, or a wine glass before shooting. Can I assume a bottle or wine glass with a busy background would not be a good candidate for this procedure?

    How do you get rid of more of the highlights around the top of the bottle where the label is?

    • @PhotoshopTrainingChannel
      @PhotoshopTrainingChannel  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you, HowieD1975! You could either clone or use the Spot Healing Brush Tool. Or you could darken it with an adjustment layer and mask it so that it only affects the bright areas.

    Jesus, This is great, thx! Are the initial transparency masking steps (prior to adjusting the light - which would be scene specific) ones that could be made into an Action? Or, would the action only replicate the select shape of the initial transparent vessel used to create the action?

    • @PhotoshopTrainingChannel
      @PhotoshopTrainingChannel  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If the background is white I suppose that you could make an action. You will need to refine your layers and adjustments but you could set it up as a way to get you started faster.

    Can someone explain please how did he fix the solid area on 6:30, like he didn't fiz anything in the layer mask of the group he just made a normal layer and used white as if he is inside the mask, is it because of the blending mods applied to the layers above it that kept it the same as the original ?

    • @messibeaucoup
      @messibeaucoup 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I too struggle to understand this. And I also guess that it has to do with the blend modes. Maybe we should study his video about blend modes to understand the interaction.

    • @PhotoshopTrainingChannel
      @PhotoshopTrainingChannel  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Omar, painting with white makes the original pixels come back because of the way the Multiply Blending Mode works. The oversimplified explanation is that Multiply gets rid of white and bright pixels. So by painting with white you bring back what it takes away.
