    I have to say.. thank you a bunch.
    About a year ago I saw this tutorial when I was first learning the very basics of photoshop and decided it was way too difficult for me to attempt; now, I remembered this tutorial when I actually needed it, and it worked like an absolute charm. I really appreciate your help, it has been monumental!

    When I use the eyedropper in greyscale to take samples, it only shows the percetange of black no that other number.
    Why is that and what means the number that you get? (Example 27/ 7% at minute 3:31)

    Sweet! Thanks for the old school way of doing things. I've been using the End Dark & Light Colors in the Auto Color Correction Options in the Curves Adjustment layer to match colors.

      I've seen that Dark/Light Color set up in the Auto options in Curves, but I never seem to be able to get it totally right.
      Maybe I need to practice more :D Thanks for the comment!

    i've been using photoshop for 4 years and i literally did everything by the eye, i just tried out this technique and i get so much more accurate results, instead of curves i prefer using color balance
