    one of the best tutorial on this topic.
    what I really like about this, is that you don't need to really struggle with different settings and adjustment, it is a straight forward 3 steps.
    thank you Nathaniel

    i've been using photoshop for 4 years and i literally did everything by the eye, i just tried out this technique and i get so much more accurate results, instead of curves i prefer using color balance

    I loved how you insinuated your concept so they aren't just steps you clone in every project, they are your work theory that you fit to every project based on what you know!
    This is my best way of getting new stuff inside my head

      it's easy you don't have to do it exactly that way just try chaning the colors and stuff untill it looks like a real image and not fake

    • @shishka3116
      @shishka3116 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You should get warm with "HSB". This will help you to understand images and how to manipulate them. HSB is a form of describing colors, like RGB (how much red, green or blue are in the image). HSB stands for Hue (color), Saturation and Brightness and is more logical for us humans because we don't describe things in real life with RGB-Codes but with the color, the brightness or how saturated the object is. Btw This will also help to create matching color palettes. Just change one of the 3 channels of a basecolor and you got a new matching one.

    I think a little bit of yellow/orange in the model's highlights would've taken this image to a whole new level, since skin is a reflective surface and the background is so intensely bright warm and saturated. But other than that, great tutorial! :)

    When I use the eyedropper in greyscale to take samples, it only shows the percetange of black no that other number.
    Why is that and what means the number that you get? (Example 27/ 7% at minute 3:31)

    As you created the background, you could bring some smoke clouds in front of her legs. Also shadows are needed on the bush of her lower half, as the light is coming from behind the shot, also the highlights on her show the light coming from behind her.
