I love how your Heirloom cardigan turned out! The tweed yarn was such a great choice!! Your 2024-2025 goals has me thinking for sure, one of my goals for the new year is definitely knitting from stash… we shall see 😅❤happy holidays to you & yours!
I have been working on binding off my anthology throw advent project, and I'd love to finish off the virus shawl before the new year as well. I think my theme of the year is going to be wip control/wip down. I have probably a dozen projects just sitting in bags that I want to have the items for and I'm feeling the just general overwhelm of too much. I'd like to get through the bulk of it by June so when festivals start up I have some space in my space again. I also have a Christmas stocking I need to make this year! It's on it's way to me now. Hoping I can have the energy to do a flat last this year too. Think it will help with the visualization of everything.
Ambah O’Brian always has my favorite advent patterns! Shawls of course, but also sweaters and cardigans like the Jolly Jumper and Twist Cardi that are perfect for a fade.
Your Heirloom cardigan is the most beautiful version I've seen since the pattern was released. Your color choices and placement is perfection. Thank you for a wonderful year of content, I love your podcast and all the inspo you give!!
Your Heirloom cardigan is spectacular. I love the Anthology throw when knit in a fade. It would be fantastic. I have 3 cardigans knit in EKF earthy DK. I love how the variegated colorways come out on the earthy bases. However, they pill a ton. I have bought so many gleaners and cannot get them to look good. I de pill them every wear. If you have better luck, please let me know.
Thank you!!! The Anthology throw is on my short list! I do think the earthy DK pills more than the fingering from what I've heard. I haven't knit anything in it yet, but probably holding a mohair would help most. I have a shaver I like too that does a great job if the Gleaner isn't doing enough. I'll keep you posted though!
you are so inspiring!
love that cardigan!
can't wait for next year content, fav podcast!
I love your Heirloom!! I still haven't even swatched. Enjoy your time of work. Hopefully you still get a lot of knitting time!

Thank you! I know the new and shiny makes it so hard to stick to plans but knitting for joy is also a great goal!
