I made a Heirloom quilt cardigan! I have a tip/suggestion! I found that while it's super cute, becuase I have a bust, it rides up in the front. I undid the top shoulder seams, knit two wedges as saddle shoulders, and then it drapped beautifully. I also added a band at the bottom before the ribbing of a triangle motif to add a couple extra inches to be the perfect length on me. LMK if you want more info/pics.
Omg ok yes this is great information. Do you have a picture you can send me?? I would love to see the shoulder especially as I noticed this in some of the finished project photos and that's one of the reasons I was going to add the extra row!

I’m also working the lauder vest and was feeling iffy about the fit after finishing the back panel, but I did make a proper gauge swatch and it stretched out a lot horizontally so I think you might get more width than you think from the back! My cables got slightly flat but with it being all over cables I like the texture of the smoother cabled look, and they won’t get lost in a solid color even if they smooth out soon! I’m looking forward to seeing how’s yours turns out!

I adored the deep bright blue in the farmers market release, however I just can't justify anything rn with half my family out on strike. I'm knitting away as much as I can on socks for the gifting season, but my list is finally under 10 names, so making progress. October I have 2 starts planned, one being the West knits mkal the other being a cardigan using the yarn I finished spinning during my tdf tour this year.
