I hope it will be Co-Op mode with Ellie and Abby. It's like they become closer because they worked together. BUT there should be a twist at the end. Maybe a betrayal? Or maybe one saves the other type thing? I hate the idea of them staying enemies this whole time. It's too predictable. I have the perfect opening scene, you hear a guitar being played and it's zoomed in on Ellies hand and you see her missing finger
I want Ellie to find a purpose, but the more I think about it, the more I don't want that purpose to be a cure. I want her to find value in herself beyond just her immunity. It's pretty clear she has her self-worth tied up in her immunity and sees herself as worthless if that purpose is taken from her. So all I want is for her to learn that she has worth and value just for being who she is.
Why are people so against Ellie to be a cure. Alot of people died for her starting with Tess. Ellie is no doctor. Taking a chance for a cure is more worth than watching the whole world kill each other the longer she remains silent. The fungus wont stop evolving till it takes over all the humans. You seen how it evolved the longer they let them infect more people. It will be more heartbreaking if another kid had to sacrifice themselves to save everyone else.
YES! I feel they aluded to that with Joel saying 'she'd be lucky to have you' about Dina. Ellie immediately claps back with 'my life would have fucking mattered' but she didn't realize that her life DID matter to the people she loved.
It's about a man. A man, and his journey. His journey for revenge to find the one who wronged him, and finally get justice. In The Last Of Us: Part III, Bill will find Ellie, and make her pay for stealing his magazine.
I think a good direction for part 3 would be if a much older and experienced Ellie stumbles across another kid that’s immune and has a similar journey to Joel where she struggles to open up and never tells them that she’s immune too. But in the end she sacrifices herself instead so that kid can grow up and have a chance at life like she did, as she finally REALLY understands Joel’s choice, and Ellie also gets to save the world like she always wanted. Also maybe they cross paths with Abby as they have to get her fathers research notes to perform the surgery and there is palpable tension but they help each other in the long run.
I think Ellie dying For a cure is a dumb idea. For 1, it makes Joel's choice in part pointless and by extension part 2 pointless. The cure needs to stay dead. For 2, it's given into the stupid notion that Ellie's entire existence is just to die and it's also given into her trauma as opposed to healing from it. It's like letting rue from euphoria to continue abusing drugs. Part 3 should be about Ellie moving past her martyr-hero complex and to see value in being alive. It's like Anna said "life is worth living."
I honeslty think the cure is fake. Just because ellie is immune doesnt mean it's going to do anything to anyone else it could literally only be something related to Ellie and the fireflies are just pissed that they cant have her gift which honestly I'd say is more a curse having to know everyone else you know around you can go to the infection at any point while you are forced to say behind and watch.
agreed, even if the Fireflies made a cure which is wierd because the cordyceps is a fungus and not a virus, all it would do is add more to the Fireflies' corruption
@@GojoTheHonoredOne9 neither was it for the doctor's to make, they should've asked for the consent of ellie first, even if she says now that she should've died that day, still the doctors and nobody had the right to just kill her
There is one clear direction for this story to go and Ellie will likely be the main character again. She has a lot of red in her ledger and the idea of her becoming a Legendary figure within the Wild West of the post apocalyptic world makes a lot of sense. She's like a whisper on the wind. The woman who cannot be infected. Traveling town to town getting wrapped up in the stories she finds. Taking the sides of those too weak to fight for themselves. Seeking a good death. And sorry to say it but not even one Joel scene. Leaving behind his guitar was symbolic and it's time to carry the story forward without him.
@@antigonezafeiriou4657 i wouldn’t be surprised if they’ll try to kill each other on p3. But i’ll be damned if they’ll end up being couple though. Anything is possible😂😂 crazy storylines
I really want to know what happened to Abby and Lev before Ellie found them. I also feel as though Ellie needs to know that Abby's vengeance had nothing to do with the loss of a cure, but that Joel stole what really mattered to her, which is her father. Maybe the Fireflies would have tried to come after them if he kept them alive, but killing the doctor was out of line. It is statistically impossible that Ellie is the ONLY person with immunity, even if she is the only one they know about thus far.
Part 3's cure should be regaining humanity and love one another like seen in Jackson. I like to see Ellie surrounded with love at the end of part 3 like Joel had hoped for her. Sacrificing for a cure again undermine Joel's story and is too predictable to end the Last of Us series' story overall.
Not trying to throw shade on your idea, just throwing out how Naughty Dog operates. Neil Druckman is very clear with his motivations for the series, whether people like him or hate him for it.
If there was ever one more sequel, which there admittedly probably shouldn’t be. I’d like to see Joel and Tess year 2 of the outbreak. Joel telling Ellie, the dirty truth about him and Tess surviving. The reason Tommy left.
Yeah it would be more about Joel and Tommy learning to survive this new world and then years on they would meet Tess. They could probably have the story be from Tommy's perspective to show that since Joel lost Sarah he has become far more jaded and cruel (doing bad things to ensure his and Tommy's survival). Then when they meet Tess, tommy doesn't really like her because she brings out the parts of Joel that is cruel and only caring about himself and the people around him. It could end with tommy leaving to join the fireflies while Joel and Tess go to Boston (sadly the Tess voice actor passed away so it might not be possible).
Okay I think it's very important to say that she WAS NOT hit with a PTSD flashback of Joel's death. The memory that she recalled is actually from her last conversation with Joel, which you see shortly after her final fight with Abby. In that scene she tells Joel that she doesn't know if she can forgive him but she would like to try. The reason she stopped the fight with Abby is because she was reminded she was capable of trying to forgive people, not because she was reminded of the very reason she was trying to kill Abby in the first place.
Man. Part 3 HAS to be about forgiveness and redemption. In some way, those two ideas stem form combining hope/love with hatred. Ellie has to forgive Abby and work towards the vaccine because of the love she had for Joel and the people Abby murdered, Abby has to forgive Ellie and move passed her hatred because of some plot device in Part 3 maybe on the islands.
Apply character arc is beautiful complete and and she already went threw guilt redemption and forgiveness, She never wanted to hurt ellie so she doesn't care to forgive her . She has great father great young love which made her mature and caring . Ellie on other hand character is messed up childhood then Joel as her Psychotics role model she knows nothing but violence and she killed so many innocent people her soul will never rest . Joel was selfish and lonely and she will always be both Thier choices revolve around them , and they leave trail of blood where they go . It's sad to see her end up unfulfilled she need to do one good thing in her life to redeem her actions.
@@kramwrites no she just let her go because the kid was there and reminded her of herself when Joel saved her. That's my opinion. Definitely far from redemption
Pt 3 will begin with Abby and Lev finding the fireflies who are in contact with a firefly cell from South America who has the oriiginal Patient 0 who is infected and contagious but not turned or growing fungus from their body. One of the doctors working their finds out that by combining both Ellie’s and patient 0’s dna a cure can be made but only if they are alive. This will take us to back to pt 1 where Joel saving Ellie from the surgery actually saved the worlds only hope for a cure.
This is very satisfying, even though it it doesn't really make sense scientifically in terms of cure being the combination of DNA. There would need to be some other explanation that is more plausible.
@@joech1065 Maybe multiple dna samples would be needed to fine tune the cure, and they need to be alive because death allows more freedom for the cordycepts to the corrupt the now corpse. we haven’t explored what might happen if someone “immune” who is infected were to die, whether that be from being eaten alive or old age
I'm sorry but this is the dumbest thing I've read in the comment section yet and it doesn't fit TLOU at all. This is waaaaay too Marvel. TLOU is way more realistic and scientific. We also already know the outbreak started in Indonesia. Patient zero being in South America is just stupid. Combining DNA has nothing to do with Fungi infection. It doesn't work like that.
In my opinion, Part III would be great if it were once again split into two different narratives: Ellie in present time, on a new adventure, and then another narrative of Joel at various points during the 20 years of the pandemic. His time with Tommy before he left for the Fireflies, his time with Tess, etc. Then somehow have these two stories reflect and parallel each other. I think it’d be great, personally…
that will never happen; it needs to be accepted that Neil Druckmann is now the main writer and doesnt like Joel, his vision of TLOU is completely based upon uplifting his ego and arrogance and not giving us what we want
@@Browasnthere That's a good view of things, i give him credit for the gameplay, but the story is not appealing for me whatsoever, i just wished he would've done it differently
I feel like it’s going to be like, “The rest of us” sort of thing. Ellie went back to Dina, Dina wasn’t there. She definitely didn’t go back to Jacksonville especially the way her and Tommy ended. I feel like they’re going to start it off with Abby searching for Ellie. I just hope they dissolve the cure theory. It’s better that knowing Joel was right the entire time. Someone else here also said they hope Ellie finds a purpose and I FULLY agree. I can’t stand the thought of Ellie biggest fear coming true, her being alone.
I think the Factions two will tie to the restructure of the Fireflies. It would be cool to see other Factions you can choose from, while playing through the story of how they are regrouping to Catalina.
I’m really hoping we have a Part 3 that’s split POV with Ellie and Tommy, and Tommy’s flashbacks to Joel could be filled with their time together getting to Boston (so a lot like the prequel people are pushing for).
The ideal ending for everyone would probably be if Ellie finally brings the cure, but she does not have to die anymore. Joel would have done everything right to save her, at least as far as Ellie was concerned. The Fireflys then bring the rescue. Ellie would have fulfilled her destiny. But it's TLOU that's why this will never happen.
Thanks Paul and team, interesting theories. Even though the part 3 plot is "finalized"; it may need further amendments depending on how part 2 on TV will be received, especially regarding Abby
That beach scene at the end changed games for life for me … so poetic and beautiful and I haven’t stopped thinking of it 1 and a half months later 😢bravo 👏🏼
Yeah I can’t wait to see what they change. It’s possible that season 2 will end with Abby killing Jesse saying “we let you live and you wasted it”. Can’t wait to see who is cast as Abby, hope it’s someone with a good track record.
I would say have some sort of story where Ellie gets to make the choice to be the cure juxtaposed with Abby almost becoming like Joel trying to save her. That would have Abby understand why Joel did what he did but ultimately it’s not up to her, Joel, or the fireflies making the choice. It was always Ellie’s and should end that way.
ellie discover a radio signal about abby asking for help because the cordyceps fungus now able to infect animals and birds heading to jackson with a big horde of creatures. ellie find out there more like her in jackson
My theory is you start of TLOU3 as Abby w/ Lev something happens where Abby is attacked and taken prisoner. Lev then has to go and find Ellie to help track down Abbys whereabouts. Ellie at this point never returned to Jackson and has become a sort of hermit living off the land and avoiding any new relationships.
@Ethan Bonn all the more reason. Especially if the fireflies actually turn out to be there. Maybe Ellie feels like she might have one more chance to do something with her blood since she was robbed of that.
Part 1 was release at the end of the PS3, but I agree with you on this point. Last 2 games came out at the end of the last 2 consoles, and was thinking they would follow suit.
Elie giving herself up for a cure would be totally horrible. That's not carrying the story full circle. It's creating no meaning for part 1. It's like removing the paint from the Mona Lisa and calling it a masterpiece. If anything, part 3 should be a redemption story. It should be about people in that world finding their humanity again, like Joel did. Everyone one in that world had sins. None of them were a saint. They all killed. Abby people's trying to kill her, and then her having to kill them like Joel did with the Fireflies. I think Abby eventually understood why Joel killed her father, after she tried to protect Lev from the WLF. She did exactly what Joel did with Ellie, if one pays attention to the parallels between both characters. She killed a whole lot of people to protect a child. Joel did the same. For me, part 2 was a story of love and hate. We all have it within us. And in order to understand one, you must experience both. It's part of growing up and gaining wisdom. It's also based on love and hate, but through the eyes of different perspectives. I don't think part 2 was written well enough to deliver that message though. It could have been delivered in a much better manner. It's confusing because in real life it's also confusing to comprehend. But generational hatred can manifest itself into love. Or as the saying goes, the sin of the father should not pass onto the son. A redemption story would be better.
Ellie has a mutated version of cordyceps - she is infected, but this mutated version she has doesn't make her turn If Ellie was to bite someone, she would infect that person with the mutated 'safe' cordyceps, hence making them immune Throughout part 1 and part 2 Ellie never left anyone alive long enough to figure this out. At the end of part 2, Abby bit Ellie's finger off, infecting herself with the 'safe' version of cordyceps This, I bet is the overarching story of the last of us part 3. What you guys think?
That does sound really good, maybe its something that needs to be done before the person is infected. Because ellie shared blood with sam but he still turned. Your theory still could be correct tho
I think Ellie already bit abby when they were fighting earlier. but your point still stands, we know that Ellie can't infect anyone because Neil has already confirmed that but a "safe" infection seems really interesting
I kinda want the cure to be something less obvious like Abby being bitten later and “for some reason” she doesn’t get infected but then discovers it’s due to Ellie biting her then we’d see Abby repeat Joel’s actions to save Ellie and get the real cure out to people. This gives Ellie her purpose, justifies Joel’s actions, gives Abby a chance to forgive and be forgiven by the fans, and develop a happy ending for all fans.
Yes!! I see you noticed that tiny detail too. I’ve always said this is likely to happen. Ellie also kissed Dina even when she was pregnant, so it’s possible it passed on to her as well. Neither of them will release they’re immune until they get into a situation where it becomes clear.
That’s actually a great plot. If Abby doesn’t have some story arch of redemption or understanding then it’ll be hard for players to forgive. The most important thing with Abby is making her likeable or relatable. She didn’t want to fight Ellie on the beach and maybe seeing Ellie so broken in the water might play on her mind? 😂
i swear it's gonna be about Ellie, and people around her learning that she's the cure, everyone's going to kill just to get her, and i believe she's be going to Abby for help, to clean up dirty ends, to make peace
I have a rough outline for a fanfic. Rumor of a mysterious immune women has spread. Communities want to either kill her, (groups that think the infection is "God's Will), or to sell her to get the inoculation first. Some may even believe it is possible to become immune through ritual instead of science and hunt her to control her. Not easy when you have no clue who the mysterious woman is or what she looks like. Tons of innocent women are killed in these hunts/tests. Fireflies find an old world Dr, a brain surgeon that can do it and keep her alive. They send a party to Jackson to grab her. Abby and Lev are some of them. Ellie agrees to go. As they travel (party of 4) to CA, they encounter the signs that humanity may be too far gone and a cure may end up just being a tool/means to enslave, control, be a payday, etc. FEDRA wants to limit distribution to only the upright person, so criminals, cannibals, raiders, etc are persona no grata and they plan to ban them from being inoculated. Small communities want to make a buck and be first in line for the cure, highest bidder wins Cults either want her dead or to control her in hopes that they can become immune without science and will be the only ones safe. Fireflies want to restore the US, including forcing small communes like Jackson to be more capitalistic. This ends up bothering Ellie. Even though she knows she will survive, she is disillusioned at humanity and right near their goal she runs back to Jackson, not wanting any group to have that much power over those she loves in Jackson. A Jackson resident tries to betray her and Ellie has to kill them (maybe even Maria). Ellie, in the end, decides it is too risky to live, as she would always fear being used as a pawn to gain power and she unalives herself. Her body spores and drifts towards children playing (JJ and Tommy's kid being among them), guaranteeing that those she loves will be protected like she was.
Someone said it in another video. Part 3 should follow Ellie and the ultimate demise of humanity. They should follow the dark path predicted by the scientists in the hbo series
I would love to see a character in Part III who is, like Ellie, immune and prone to violence, but has some other sort of mutation or deviance that makes them a truly terrifying and powerful, but ultimately human, enemy. Idk if that's in line with the overall pretty grounded storytelling in this series, so far, but who knows? Both of the games in this series have surprised me a lot, so I'm sure the next one will too, no matter the theories!
I think that's probably going to happen at the end of 2025 Q4, when the ps6 comes out in 2026 than maybe even earlier, like 2024Q4, but tbh i don't think so
All I really want is for Ellie and Tommy to work together. I just want more Tommy in general, how he moves on from Joel’s death and him and Ellie’s relationship. It could be come tricky to write, but ideally for me I want them to have similar dynamic as Joel-Ellie while still not “replacing” Joel in anyway. Maybe they could go off to help one of them find something they’re looking for (I’m thinking maybe Ellie finding the fireflies). I just want both of them to have happy endings, or at least bittersweet ones. It’s what they both deserve in my opinion.
I would love her to finish Joel’s first purpose, being the cure… I would love to see the same scene as she was a teenager at the hospital, and just the moment she is going to be starting with the suggery, she has flashbacks of joel and she smiles.
I think it would be nice if Ellie goes back to Jackson and asks Dina for forgiveness, hopefully they raise their family together again, and Ellie then realizes with a clearer mind, that she’s more than just her immunity. I feel Dina is really good at helping Ellie and she really loves her.
I just want the story to come full circle as ellie being the savior of mankind ,I think the series should end with ellie saving the world which would circle back to the beginning of part one.ellie is the neo of the story basically, not saying she should sacrifice herself like he did but I think she should be the one who restores hope to mankind and perhaps have a happy ending with dina and the kid as they watch mankind get back on its feet finally...hell who know maybe she should be shown at the end as an older woman writing a memoir about her journey with joel and their adventures when she was living in the post apocalypse.
Lev discovers he is immune, and history repeats itself at the end of TLOU pt 1, this time as Abby as Joel and Lev as Ellie, Abby comes to the realization that she is no better than Joel, understanding what he did and why he did it. Abby dies. Lev runs into Ellie, and they form a bond that is similar to the bond that Abby and Lev had. While traveling, they bump into someone that catches them without masks as they are in an area where there are spores, Ellie and Lev become wanted. One hates Abby the other doesn't, they move past their unshared feelings towards Abby and fight to survive, each learning about the other in the process, and they learn from each other as well as individually.
My thoughts. Given the immense star power of Pascal I think it is highly likely he’ll be retained for season 2 with some inclusion of TLOU2 plus backstory on the 20 years prior also allowing the team to de-age him, Torv and Luna without any effort.
I suppose that in the third part, Ellie and Abby will meet again in a situation where they need to act together, they will treat each other coldly, but still in the end they will forgive each other for everything because they make peace with the enemy, not with a friend, and perhaps Ellie will save Abby life again when Tommy tries to kill her or at the end we will see such a situation. On the way to the place where the vaccine was created, Abby will bite and Ellie will sacrifice herself to create the vaccine. Abby will be the one on whom it will be tested and the vaccine will work.
I thought awhile back that Neil Druckman said that they weren't going to make a third one. That he was done with that series. Someone interviewed him after the second one and asked and he said no there wasn't going to be another one, I really hope they do make a third one.
Leaked dialog from Last of Us 3 script (source reliable): Ellie: If we were babies, what would be the worst place to watch over us? Abby: Who? Ellie: You’re not gonna guess? Abby: Fuck you. Who? Ellie: Daddy Day Care… get it? Cuz they’re dead. They would be bad babysitters. Abby: What’s ‘Daddy Day Care’? Ellie: An old movie about dads starting a day care. Abby: Your jokes are terrible. Ellie: You can do better? Abby: … Knock. Knock. Ellie: Oh! I love these! Who’s there? Abby: Happy. Ellie: Happy who? Abby: Happy Gilmore… get it? Cuz I love golf. Ellie: What’s ‘Happy Gilmore’? Abby: An old movie about a guy who knows nothing about golf swinging his clubs like a warhammer to defeat his enemies. Ellie: Fuck. You. Abby: ‘Just tap it in. Just taaaap it in.’
I believe The third part has been foreshadowed from joels words at the end of lou. Its because she mirrors joel seeking vengeance and then now finding new purpose and meaning to fight which what the third part is gonna be, thus the cycle repeats.
If part 3 will be the final arc of TLOU story, then Ellie should be the cure. However, we have to remember that the treatment plan was made by one doctor. In part 3, it could be that other Firefly doctors found a way to create a cure while keeping Ellie alive. Or they could go the doom and gloom route by making it so that a cure was never possible. Maybe find out others around the world are also immune. And these immune people are basically the future of the human race meaning they must bear children.
I'm not sure on what they will do, but it would seem right to make a part 3, making it come full circle, making it a trilogy of great games. As well with the hbo show, it could hit new heights for gaming!
when ellie went home, she was unarmed. no weapons found on her. leaves room for lots of options - such as there are no more infected. the farm and Jackson are totally safe, but how could that be? many options.
I probably shouldn't watch this until after I play Part II, and I probably shouldn't play Part II until after I play Part I. Yes, I have only seen the TV show.
if there was a part III, which i think there will be and it will be the final part, i have some ideas. first, i’d like to see ellie back in jackson. she returned there after leaving the farmhouse in part II only to check on dina and jj, after she saw they were ok, she left for 6-12 months to find peace. fast-forward to 5 years later. ellie has been n jackson for the same amount of time and she shares custody of jj with dina. dina forgave ellie for everything but did not want to get back together and they’ve been co-parenting these past couple years. one day, dina is called to check out some suspicious activity and leaves jj with ellie. when dina checks out a campsite, she and her team try to find who it belongs to. they eventually run into an older lev. dina gets flashbacks from part II and is about to kill lev for being involved with abby and jessie’s death when lev goes “WAIT! i need your help, abby’s in trouble. i need ellie.” maybe this can tie into some bigger plot involving isaac and his cult-like group. that’s all i have so far. i’m sure i could come up with a whole story in a week lol. great video!
@BRUVVAA i see what you’re saying. i’m thinking maybe ellie crossed paths with the WLF during her time away from jackson and caused some kind of trouble. maybe isaac found out where abby was (with the fireflies). the fireflies plan on eliminating the WLF, that’s how abby got kidnapped/taken. but again this is just me spitballing
😢 Paul... ( lol or anyone for that matter... please tell me whats the name of the Remixed Theme that starts at ( 8:09 ) ... that beat is 🔥... but i cant find anywhere..
Free TLOU 3 plot idea: Abby gets to fireflies and they stay there. Eventually they find someone else who is immune but Abby doesn't trust the doctor and at the end makes same decision Joel did.
Dina didn't say she would take JJ away from Ellie. Dina said she would not follow Ellie to Santa Barbara and Ellie told her that it was her choice to not come along. The boat on the beach makes it clear that Abby makes it to the Fireflies, and Ellie wearing Dina's bracelet again makes it clear that she is back with Dina.
@@hiraeth1437 Ellie leaves the farm without Dina's bracelet. It is never in her backpack while in Santa Barbara (everytime we craft something we can see what is in her bag). But when she returns to the empty farmhouse she is wearing it. The insinuation is that Ellie has reconciled with Dina who returns the bracelet to her before we see her at the empty farmhouse. Also, the boat that Abby and Lev leave in after the last fight with Ellie, is seen beached infront of the Catalina Island Casino (the new headquaters of the Fireflies) in the last screen before the closing credits roll.
Part 3 Ellie and Abby should team up against a big Group of people Something how like both lev and Dina end up getting killed by this group at different times both Ellie and Abby are both out for blood and end up crossing paths once again!! Shit would be interesting Maybe that Group Dina mentioned called the Ravens would be the ones to do it
im thinking the new fireflies will keep looking for the cure but this time theyll be testing stuff on people without consent, like labrats. we might see sole survivors and maybe abbie and ellie will join forces to save some of these. im not saying, theylle be friends but theyll have a reason to fight together.
Ish and Danny's story. Ish is at least alive and this makes complete sense. You wrap Ellie's story and tell a new one in Ish and Danny's with flashbacks
it would make a lot of sense for ellie to have a mom like relationship with a kid. just like how joel was healed by ellie, ellie could be healed by a kid and passing down joel’s memory
I'd like tlou3 to be a prequel to Tlou, and have it be about Joel's time after his daughter got killed, and then his time with the hunters and his falling out with Tommy
The last of us: The lone star. Either make it a prologue about Joel’s story about getting out of Texas “ the lone star state” and how he falls deeper into his cold hearted persona leaving him cutting ties with everyone even tommy, but then making it out of the state with the help of tess or tommy and company symbolizing him leaving behind that mentality and committing to being a partner with tess by trusting someone new and that way it gives that narrative more depth with some nice Joel time OR have Ellie lonely as she is now wonder around with the desire to go to Austin Texas to see Joel’s home state and give her a meaningful redemption arc by having a conflict between factions going and as she is unwilling to get involved she becomes attached to a cause but with a wiser more calm mind with regards to things like revenge and such making her an absolute monster of a force to be reckoned with. Just food for thought but Ellie’s character definitely needs a visit to a very well written redemption arc rn
Me too !! But the director says that je will not make a part 3 now it's not a project they actually want to continue the Season 2 of tlou with true people

10/10 idea
Finally a good sequel idea
This was what I was thinking!! Great idea :)
a random youtube user having a better ideas than Neil Cuckman. Its already common
And then Abby get eaten by a clicker
Joel’s choice in part 1 was never his to make
@@GojoTheHonoredOne9 neither was it for the doctor's to make, they should've asked for the consent of ellie first, even if she says now that she should've died that day, still the doctors and nobody had the right to just kill her
@@OA.111 the whole point of part 1 is going to the firefly base to make a vaccine, so tbh we already had Ellie’s consent.
Agreed with the Joel part, it's time to look forward to new horizons and find a new purpose to keep fighting for.
The only way I could see them putting a Joel scene in is at the very end if Ellie were to die or something but I can’t imagine it fitting anywhere

Like naughty dog is gonna give a good ending 💀💀
@@peperming7835 I’m pretty sure Uncharted’s ending is pretty good. 💀
Not trying to throw shade on your idea, just throwing out how Naughty Dog operates. Neil Druckman is very clear with his motivations for the series, whether people like him or hate him for it.
Too soft
exactly, going back to finding a cure is so basic and it will just ruin joel's part as well.
If there was ever one more sequel, which there admittedly probably shouldn’t be. I’d like to see Joel and Tess year 2 of the outbreak. Joel telling Ellie, the dirty truth about him and Tess surviving. The reason Tommy left.
I dont think Joel And Tess were together 2 years after the outbreak. I thought Joel and Tommy did their own thing for a bit before getting to Boston.
That wouldn’t be a proper sequel then just a prequel
A prequel idea with Joel sounds smart, we could see how he changed and adjusted to the apocalypse
@@NoonMight I agree but that should be more of a spin-off then a continuation which I hope they do
Okay I think it's very important to say that she WAS NOT hit with a PTSD flashback of Joel's death.
The co director also said in an interview that they didn’t intend the radio call to be misleading. That it was in fact Fireflies
I don't even play video games and I am obsessed with the Last of Us lore
Abby and Ellie would make one hell of a badass team!
I would want this for part 3
I hope Ellie and Dina get back together they were a great couple
I thought they already forgave each other at the end of part 2. That's why Ellie didn't kill her at the end.
I like this idea. I feel like they team up in some way, begrudgingly.
@@kramwrites no she just let her go because the kid was there and reminded her of herself when Joel saved her. That's my opinion. Definitely far from redemption
Tlou part 2 was literally about that
Pt 3 will begin with Abby and Lev finding the fireflies who are in contact with a firefly cell from South America who has the oriiginal Patient 0 who is infected and contagious but not turned or growing fungus from their body. One of the doctors working their finds out that by combining both Ellie’s and patient 0’s dna a cure can be made but only if they are alive. This will take us to back to pt 1 where Joel saving Ellie from the surgery actually saved the worlds only hope for a cure.
that’s so fire. then Joel keeping her alive wouldnt be a bad thing
This is good!
Too bad ND will botch it n not do anything close to this
This is very satisfying, even though it it doesn't really make sense scientifically in terms of cure being the combination of DNA.
No Joel is dead. There’s no point to keep reliving his past. Part 2 already done that. I’ll rather see Tommy pov.

I feel like it’s going to be like, “The rest of us” sort of thing. Ellie went back to Dina, Dina wasn’t there. She definitely didn’t go back to Jacksonville especially the way her and Tommy ended. The ideal ending for everyone would probably be if Ellie finally brings the cure, but she does not have to die anymore.

I feel like Ellie would want nothing to do with those two
@Ethan Bonn all the more reason. Especially if the fireflies actually turn out to be there. Maybe Ellie feels like she might have one more chance to do something with her blood since she was robbed of that.
Why the hell would Lev find the person who tracked them down to kill them? 😅

Ellie has a mutated version of cordyceps - she is infected, but this mutated version she has doesn't make her turn
If Ellie was to bite someone, she would infect that person with the mutated 'safe' cordyceps, hence making them immune
Throughout part 1 and part 2 Ellie never left anyone alive long enough to figure this out.
At the end of part 2, Abby bit Ellie's finger off, infecting herself with the 'safe' version of cordyceps
This, I bet is the overarching story of the last of us part 3.
What you guys think?
damn that's actually plausible
That sounds really good 👍🏻
Amazing plot. :)
It’ll prove Joel actions were justified. She didn’t need to die for a cure, she finds her true purpose to live.
Not gonna lie, this would be a perfect third part for me! Cool Idea Buddy
they already established ellie cannot pass on a cure (or infection) through biting.
Love this! But I still miss the friendly shots you & Screencrush used to take at each other. 😸
i swear it's gonna be about Ellie, and people around her learning that she's the cure, everyone's going to kill just to get her, and i believe she's be going to Abby for help, to clean up dirty ends, to make peace
I feel like something like this makes sense. Maybe with some flashbacks for Abby to cover her time in captivity.
Small communities want to make a buck and be first in line for the cure, highest bidder wins
Cults either want her dead or to control her in hopes that they can become immune without science and will be the only ones safe.

I would love to see a character in Part III who is, like Ellie, immune and prone to violence, but has some other sort of mutation or deviance that makes them a truly terrifying and powerful, but ultimately human, enemy.
Could be like Joel and Ellie except instead of a father and daughter dynamic its more like they’re friends or like a mentorship
I would love her to finish Joel’s first purpose, being the cure… I would love to see the same scene as she was a teenager at the hospital, and just the moment she is going to be starting with the suggery, she has flashbacks of joel and she smiles.
Freaking sad 😔
I think it would be nice if Ellie goes back to Jackson and asks Dina for forgiveness, hopefully they raise their family together again, and Ellie then realizes with a clearer mind, that she’s more than just her immunity. I feel Dina is really good at helping Ellie and she really loves her.

one thing i love about these games is the feeling you get while playing and i really want part 3 to have a warmer lighter feeling

On the way to the place where the vaccine was created, Abby will bite and Ellie will sacrifice herself to create the vaccine. Abby will be the one on whom it will be tested and the vaccine will work.

And these immune people are basically the future of the human race meaning they must bear children.

first, i’d like to see ellie back in jackson. she returned there after leaving the farmhouse in part II only to check on dina and jj, after she saw they were ok, she left for 6-12 months to find peace. fast-forward to 5 years later. ellie has been n jackson for the same amount of time and she shares custody of jj with dina. dina forgave ellie for everything but did not want to get back together and they’ve been co-parenting these past couple years. one day, dina is called to check out some suspicious activity and leaves jj with ellie. when dina checks out a campsite, she and her team try to find who it belongs to. they eventually run into an older lev. dina gets flashbacks from part II and is about to kill lev for being involved with abby and jessie’s death when lev goes “WAIT! i need your help, abby’s in trouble. i need ellie.” maybe this can tie into some bigger plot involving isaac and his cult-like group.
that’s all i have so far. i’m sure i could come up with a whole story in a week lol. great video!
No pls
She shouldn't help her dad's killer
It's not a marvel movie
Thanks for the news and warning me about spoiler
I wanna see more infected to be honest. I felt like the first season was way lacking
I thought it was great but I feel you man last time we saw infected was episode 5....I was so pist they didn't put more infected in the show.
I've never clicked on a video so fast in my life
A Joel in one. Oooooo, beautifully harsh!
😢 Paul... ( lol or anyone for that matter... please tell me whats the name of the Remixed Theme that starts at ( 8:09 ) ... that beat is 🔥... but i cant find anywhere..
Free TLOU 3 plot idea: Abby gets to fireflies and they stay there. Eventually they find someone else who is immune but Abby doesn't trust the doctor and at the end makes same decision Joel did.
that would be extremely hard to pull off without it feeling like a marvel movie
The most asshole plot ever 😂
they should’ve made the third one about joe and tommy and that missing time frame and what they went through
Dina didn't say she would take JJ away from Ellie. Dina said she would not follow Ellie to Santa Barbara and Ellie told her that it was her choice to not come along.
The boat on the beach makes it clear that Abby makes it to the Fireflies, and Ellie wearing Dina's bracelet again makes it clear that she is back with Dina.
Wait wait what!!? The last part I saw was Ellie walking out of the barn house. And ofc the boat loading screen.
3:41 I was thinking EXACTLY of God of War 😂
Part 3 Ellie and Abby should team up against a big Group of people
Something how like both lev and Dina end up getting killed by this group at different times both Ellie and Abby are both out for blood and end up crossing paths once again!! Shit would be interesting
Maybe that Group Dina mentioned called the Ravens would be the ones to do it
im thinking the new fireflies will keep looking for the cure but this time theyll be testing stuff on people without consent, like labrats. we might see sole survivors and maybe abbie and ellie will join forces to save some of these. im not saying, theylle be friends but theyll have a reason to fight together.
I think It will be years before we get Part III unfortunately, probably around 5-7 years at best.
Just how part 2 took 7 years to develop
最可怕的是3可能不会再有了
The theories make sense and thanks for putting all the info together in one easily digestible video. 👍
I loved part 2. Can’t wait for 3
I'd like tlou3 to be a prequel to Tlou, and have it be about Joel's time after his daughter got killed, and then his time with the hunters and his falling out with Tommy
I really hope the story of The Last of Us ends in a trilogy
Just food for thought but Ellie’s character definitely needs a visit to a very well written redemption arc rn
im excited for 3
Me too !! But the director says that je will not make a part 3 now it's not a project they actually want to continue the Season 2 of tlou with true people
"A Joel in one" 😂😂😂... Not even 10 secs in and I'm already cracking up. Damn
