- The Last of Us Part II is one of my favorite games of all time, and I love it to the extent that I've made a prediction video about the potential next game in the series: The Last of Us Part III. In this video, I break down what I think we're going to see in Part III: ranging from who the main characters will be all the way down to some very specific plot details. I can't say for certain that I'll be right, but using supporting details from the games and from the mouths of the writers themselves, I hope to see some of these predictions come to fruition.

About The Last of Us Part II: Five years after their dangerous journey across the post-pandemic United States, Ellie and Joel have settled down in Jackson, Wyoming.

Just wanna share my own idea that I think could create a new arc for TLOU3. I'm curious what you'll guys think.
1. Ellie's immunity is caused by mutation of the infected who bit her.
2. If this infected mutant bit another person, he would also be immune.
3. Vaccine can be created from the immune person, which will kill him.
4. Vaccine can also be extracted from the infected mutant.
Immunity is not so widespread because those who are bitten either kill himself, turn to infected, or get killed by his team.
Feel free to expand on this plot and share your own idea. I personally think that TLOU3 should build a story around Ellie's immunity.
I believe the rattlers will be in 3.
My take on the end of the game was that Ellie was leaving the farm to go to Jackson to find Dina and JJ
I think that the stories tied in together very well, the writers should center part 3 around Ellie going off to find JJ (Dina’s son), as JJ (a young teenager in part 3) has gone off to try and seek revenge against Abby for killing her father Jessy.
Tommy, who is playing sort of an antagonist in this role, is still seeking revenge for the death of his brother Joel. That it is why Tommy convinces JJ to go off and try to kill Abby (because Tommy is injured and can’t do it himself).
In sort of a redemptive role, Ellie goes off to save JJ. This may redeem her mistake in abandoning her relationship with Dina in order to seek her own revenge. This may also be a way of Ellie’s character ark coming full circle, as she has now gone off to try and save and protect a young vulnerable person in the way that Joel had been there to try and protect (and ultimately save) Ellie.
Whether or not there is a vaccine (cure) made by the end of the story may be implied, I have a feeling that the character of Liv (whom Abby had earlier saved) may be immune, thus putting Abby into a difficult dilemma whereas she has to decide whether or not Liv’s life is worth gathering a vaccine and making her relive the moment where Abby and her father had discussed whether her father would sacrifice Abby to make a vaccine, which Abby had said would be the right decision.
Perhaps they will not find a cure, or maybe they will. One thing is for certain though; Ellie has gone on to be the hero that we all thought she would be by saving JJ, thus redeeming Joel in a cathartic way too, proving his decision to save Ellie was the right choice.
(Who knows, Ellie may even wind up saving Liv (who is immune herself and may just be the cure that the Firefly’s assumed Ellie to be)).
Another interesting take is that I believe Nora was Eugene’s daughter. When Ellie and Dina enter Eugene’s lair, there they find a photo of him with a daughter and another woman. Nora would been younger at this time as it implies that Eugene had gotten older (73) and died. This would match up to Nora’s age, as she was a younger girl in the photo. Nora working in the hospital may have been her following in her mother’s footsteps, her mother being Marlene from part 1.

I like your predictions. I definitely think Ellie is going to search out the fireflies. That's why the writers use a moth for her symbol. It's a creature that searches for the light in the dark.

Maybe but at the end she let go of Joel and her identity being tied to her immunity. She might just try to live her life and try to find the light in doing good things.

@@sablemae8853 She's letting go of the negative parts of Joel? She is where Joel was at the beginning of the first game. She wears his clothes and she even has a reminder of loss on her wrist. The only real character arc for her is a redemption arc. The writers wouldn't have said multiple times (in both games) "when you're lost in the darkness, look for the light" and have a protagonist with a moth symbol (as well as a loading screen with moths circling a light source in the 2nd game) on accident.
I still think about this game every day.

If they don't make a part 3, at least make a DLC that gives Ellie some sort of peace of mind. Either show her finding Dina again, or living on her own and finding some kind of happiness.
I like the sentiment, but this is TLOU, it won’t end with something happy for Ellie. She HAD that happiness on the farm with Dina and she still felt it necessary to go out looking for trauma. It will be bittersweet. In my opinion, Part III will have more immune characters and she’ll become a Firefly, maybe even joining Abby.
@@Chriztefur did you read Ellie's journal on the farm and pay attention to what she said? She has suicidal thoughts, feels intense guilt. She can't sleep, can't eat and believes the only way out of this misery is confronting Abby again. She has nightmares and not thinking about what happened for 1 day is a success for her. Both Ellie and Dina did what they needed at this time. Ellie needed to confont it again to find peace, and Dina needed a break.
A ray of hope is Ellie wearing Dina's bracelet and Dina's favourite vinyl album you can see on Ellie's guitar case in the ending.
I think they’ll make a Part 3, it’s just gonna take a long time. Another 7 or more years wouldn’t be unlikely. In the meantime, I would love a Left Behind-style prequel DLC focusing on Ellie and Joel in the between time of the two games.
Jessika, I’m confident ND will make a third part and they will move Ellie forward, along with Abby and Lev. They created a much too meaningful and layered character pairing with Abby and Lev to let that go, and I strongly believe their path is linked to Ellie’s.
How they go about progressing the story, and bringing it to a finale (could take more than three major installments, for all we know) is something I’m sure only ND could do for us. 😉👍🏻
@@maxshaw1330,i wonder if ANNA is the prophet Lev&Yara believe in throughout TLOU2...i think that the "Jackson Kid"is Lev,who settled in with Abby,after Ellie allowed them to stay...Ellie s decision will bring her the animosity of Tommy,but Ellie will do it out of remourse from killing Mel...it would be nice to see how other countries fared after the CBI outbreak(Romania,Serbia)i wonder what would Licuricii(the Fireflies)do if they discover a Romanian/Serbian man/woman sharing Ellie s"armour"
They kinda hinted that the Seraphites are immune since there was a note Abby read about their ceremony where they cut the young members' faces with what sounds like infected knives, supposedly. It's hinted they do this on purpose to weed out who is "strong" and who is "weak" ie. who inherited the immunity. That's my take but I always suspected Lev was also immune and I think this will come to light if Abby finds a faction of fireflies. This, of course, will force history to repeat itself and Abby will be faced with whether to kill Lev or not ultimately forcing her to understand Joel.
And then she meets ellie who is the leader of the new fireflies
only problem is in artifacts we can see seraphites kill themselves when they are bit in order to not turn so this would prove that they do not become immune
Maybe they just mean they tested who showed the most pain during cutting their faces, not immunity. why does it “sound like infected knifes” what does it say?
I hope if abby comes to the Situation that Joel was in I hope that she and ellie meet after just so abby can apologize for not understanding how big Joels decision was and that it was just a human choice

I hope to God they will make a Part 3 that has an ending to this series. I don’t even care how long it takes, I will definitely pay money to play it after completing both games and being a huge fan of the franchise.
Great video, hopefully Part 3 will be confirmed some day in the future.
Edit: A story outline has been finished according to writers Neil & Halley as of 4/28/21. I do not know if this is going to be Part 3 or something else.

I definitely think the Jackson kid idea is a possibility!
I think it's one of the likelier predictions I made! I toyed with the idea of the Jackson kid being one of the kids from the snowball fight from Part II, but it felt too specific and those characters didn't have any names to my knowledge, so it could always just be some other random kid and it'd still have the same effect

Another immune kid could give some clarity to Joel’s lie, that she wasn’t the only one. That maybe Joel did make the right choice, however this diminishes Ellie’s main arc and importance so that would have to be handled delicately to not ruin the saga and importance of ot1 and it’s ending
It's not completely out of the realm of possibility considering it's not Ellie that is special, but her fungus, which for some reason developed differently than the cordyceps usually does. The fungus inside of her mutated in a way that stopped growing, but it's still "active" and alive.
might be interesting if the fungal pathogen inside her is killing her and Ellie is running out of time.

@no info the storytelling and characters were virtually flawless actually. Anyone who hated Abby for killing Joel are biased incels that don't want good writing they just want to play as their beloved character no matter how villainous he was. This game was damn near perfect, clearly above your reading level maybe stick to bugsnax or fall guys.
Some of my thoughts for Part 3:
1. I think, given your scenario, the "Jackson Kid" should probably be JJ. We're already invested in him and so is Ellie. It'd be an easy sell. Something terrible happening to JJ would be the push Ellie would need.
2. Abby, after finally making it to Catalina Island and re-joining the Fireflies, word gets around that there is someone who is immune, and Lev just blurts out, "Yes, we've met her." This causes pressure to Abby to come clean. The Fireflies goal was always to restore society and so it would make sense for Abby to lead the Fireflies to Jackson.
3. Part 3 should have a "battle of the five armies" in The Hobbit type of conflict as the people of Jackson, a group of Hunters, WLF, Scars, and Rattlers (along with some other groups as well possibly) now all know there is someone immune and they all descend on Jackson. This puts Maria, Tommy, Dina, Ellie, and JJ right in the middle of an intense conflict where loyalties are tested as people (even within the same group) have different agendas. Some want the cure for all, some want to weaponize the cure, and others want no cure because they want things to stay as they are. And all of this set against newer, even more deadly infected as the world grows more beautifully in nature, but more horrific in types of infected.
I like these ideas! The "battle of the five armies" thing sounds especially intense--and I really think we're going to be seeing something that catastrophic in Pt 3
@@ReginaldWrites ... I could also see Part 3 going international. Ellie and Dina talk about Jesse wanting to see "giant waterfalls" in Canada which is clearly Niagara Falls; also, Lev and Abby talk about going to other countries while in Santa Barbara. Personally, I think The Last Of Us should stay in the US, but in reality, I wouldn't care if it went international.
Some other things I wanted to mention: 1. I'd love to see the game (if it stays in the US) shift to the midwest or southeast of the US. 2. Maybe find a way to bring Part 3 full circle and come back to Boston where we meet Bill again. 3. There is also a way Part 3 could pay off the museum scene and end with a cure and Ellie joining a re-established NASA and finally making to space. But like you said, I'll leave to the extremely talented folks at Naughty Dog because they're better writers than I'll ever be.
I definitely think that the Jackson kid should be JJ. This would make Ellie’s humanity and love the cause for her journey rather than revenge. This way Dina and JJ would be traveling together. Rather than Ellie leaving Dina again for some quest if it’s not for the family/JJ Dina would feel like she is choosing someone else over them again.
@@ninajain5996 If JJ is old enough to go on patrol though, we've skipped at least 14-16 years ahead which is just a way too big time jump for the Ellie's characters after we've already spent 5 years with her. Such a time jump is only effective if the character at hand, is a pretty blank slate, like Joel was in Part I when it skips 20 years ahead.
@@disturpierced I was more thinking JJ would be like 10. He would be waaay too young to go on patrols, but he would want to. He'd sneak on one and end up getting bit. Or he would just sneak out as a young kid and get bit.

I didn’t like it initially but by the end of the game I was fully invested with all the characters and didn’t want the story to end
The story is okay (still have a massive grudge against it) but it’s not bad it just really pissed me off.
I don't think people see that ellie and abby have the same motivation because in the first game joel killed abby's father and abby just want revenge and ellie wants revenge to because abby killed joel so the story of part 2 is revenge and I don't think people see's that

You mentioning cutting hair and spiritually, it's to release negative energy, but also Abby's cut hair at the end of part ii is "cutting hair was used as a punishment for those who had been enslaved or conquered, ridding their identity and denoting inferior power"

I’m hoping they don’t take too long on making part 3 like they did with part 2 but there is still so much unresolved that we can’t be done with ellie and Abby yet. I also believe that Ellie will finally try and make it right and seek out Abby and the fireflies for a possible cure.

I really hope Ellie finds Dina and the baby again to apologize. Their little slice of the story was short but so emotional for me. It was heartbreaking when Ellie left the farm

I thought part 2 would resolve my obsession of the first game for the last few years, but it’s genuinely only made it stronger, glad I’m not the only one 😂
I know I’m late to the party, but, I think Ellie realized that Joel knew his time was limited after he did what he did. Joel made the decision ,knowing it would eventually kill him ,to be able to give Ellie what she never had. Someone who wouldn’t leave her no matter what. Give her a life, be a father to her and help her find her reason for living, and in that she was able to forgive Joel and Abby because Joel died to give her life.

I think Ellie will certainly have to properly earn her way back into Dina's life as she put Dina and JJ in a pretty vulnerable place when she just packed up and left. I would love to see lots more of Abbey who should be with the fireflies now, perhaps in a leadership role. I have full faith in ND as the 1st and 2nd game were absolute gold. They are adult games for mature gamers. They both really kicked my ass, which is what you want really, even if you dont agree with the direction of the story. The 2nd game got a huge response from the gamers.
One of the best games i've ever played, both Part 1 and 2. You should definitely make a The last of us lore videos. Great job.

what if the very last scene is JJ waking up on in his bedroom due to some disruption (identical to that scene with Sarah) and he’s calling out to Dina and Ellie only to find them outside celebrating that the United States has zero cases of cordyceps

Omg I never noticed Ellie wasn’t wearing the bracelet in California- the fact that Ellie didn’t return straight to the farmhouse is an idea I hadn’t considered before and the fact her and Dina might have reconciled was something I would completely disagree with until you talked about it. Thanks for making me think about something I’d never thought about before!
The first one will never be equalled in my opinion. The depth of feeling contained in that story caught me off guard, especially the giraffe scene. The birthday spaceship scene in 2 was touching as well, maybe the most I've ever come across in gaming. Sure, the story in 2 was a mish mash, but still way better than anything else. I wonder if gaming will ever get to these heights again.
Fantastic prediction! This would make a great game. Ellie, Abby, and Tommy’s character arcs have not come full circle. This narrative for Part 3 I believe would complete it. Very interesting. Really, it wouldn’t surprise me if Naughty Dog was thinking the same thing. I believe there needs to be one more game to finish the story.

@@ReginaldWrites I hear ya. With the incredible success of TLOU Part 2 it would seem prudent their next game would be Part 3. I still think about this game quite often, it’s an experience like no other I’ve played. There’s two other you tubers I watch: Wolf of Thorns and TLOU Strategist. They both gave predictions as well. I like yours the best though, not to take anything away from them, they are both really good, but I think yours would make a compelling story and would connect the themes from the past two games well. Their predictions are similar, but a little different.

This was a really great, well-edited video. I've been just as curious about how Naughty Dog would tackle a story for Last of Us Part 3 (I even made my own video about the subject), and I really like the ideas you've presented. I really like the idea of making the theme about redemption, especially with characters such as Tommy and Abby. It feels like a really fitting conclusion to the world and Ellie's story. Your ideas make it feel like the story has come full circle. I think it will be a while before we get a Part 3, but if it's anything like your ideas, it will be worth the wait. 😁

I have to say I LOVE these predictions for Part III and I hope they end up doing something close to everything you said. Not only do all of your predictions make logical sense, but they all would fit really well and realistically into the story as well. Great job with this video!

When Ellie bit Abby it made her immune. Abby will find out when she gets bitten in the beginning of part 3 and realize it, then try to find Ellie. We're definitely gonna play as Jessie Jr too.
I think it's not how it works, Ellie said to Dina "I can't infect you or make you immune either" (probably meant kissing and other "stuff" like that, but I think a bite counts too). In TLOU1 she bit David to escape but killed him soon, so also no confirmation here. We still don't know how Ellie's immunity works, the doctors didn't know it either and they were just... guessing? There's also a theory that she was infected with some different, less dangerous type of cordyceps which made her immune, and although it's still a theory it's very interesting. Whatever the reason is, it's weird, maybe we will never know 😀
@@513Anonimka good point about her biting David but killing him soon after! I know it's not realistically how vaccines or cures work, but the infection is able to spread through bites. If being infected by a mutated strain is what caused her immunity, wouldn't it still transfer from bites? The thing is it would have had to mutate IN the infected person that bit Ellie for some reason, otherwise they would have been immune too. I can't think of another reason for Abby and Ellie to reconnect in part 3, other than another doctor being found or trained who could possibly create a vaccine from Ellie's infection. It's more likely a genetic thing. Maybe Ellie will have some donor sperm baby (it's likely they'd be encouraging reproduction in Jackson's society at this point) to raise as Jessie Jr's sibling, who will also be immune.
@@olbabybeard Yeah logically the infection should transfer. Also notice the clicker bit Ellie's hand again near the end of the game and soon after that Abby bit Ellie's fingers off! About the genetics thing I don't know, that would mean Ellie's mom was immune too. And honestly, using Ellie for breeding feels kinda fucked up to me. I mean, she thinks all the time that it's only her immunity that matters and without that she has nothing to offer, but the game shows that people value her for many other reasons. I think that was the point of showing her battle with survivor's guilt, maybe it was never about "saving the world" ☺

During the setup talk, I love the idea of Tommy and Ellie being the focus mainly because I want to know more about what he and Joel did those first few years of surviving after the outbreak. I wanted that when I heard there was DLC coming out for the first game and I hoped they would touch on it in the second game. So hopefully I get that in the third.

An interesting idea. I’d certainly take it. I do however have a theory of my own where The Last of Us Part III may go:
Abby and Lev have rejoined the Fireflies and they have grown in numbers over the years. Some of the Fireflies get wind of Ellie’s existence and that Abby knows where she may be located. They want Abby to help track her down but she refuses as she doesn’t want to reopen that door of pain and hatred. So the Fireflies force her to help them track her down.
The player will control Lev who learns of what is going on and decides to track the Fireflies down and save Abby. Lev also wants to track down Ellie and warn her as he believes it’s the right thing to do but Abby is reluctant to.
Ellie has gone into isolation and cut off contact with everyone as she can’t bear the pain of losing anyone she loves anymore.
This would also be a super interesting way for TLoU 3 to go! I love how dark and heavy the games get, and this is definitely up that alley and the plot would be super intense

My prediction for the overall story is that when Ellie's finger got bit off by Abby in the final of Part 2, she accidentally infected Abby with the mutated version of the virus that Ellie has.
Abby will then get bit at some point during Part 3 and will not turn.
When she gets to the fireflies, they will realise this is the cure.
Seems to simple for naughty dog, it sounds like the ultimate happy ending tho. Imagine the cure being that you need to bite an immune person 😂

So there's something I want to share with you. This is just an opinion some of them are from my own thoughts the others are from different analysis comments from various Ellie vs Abby Final Fight videos:
When Ellie sees Abby in her slaved, tortured, and malnourished state, Ellie decides it does not feel right to fight. In addition to the fact that Ellie went to California not because of revenge, but because of her PTSD (there's an interview with Neil Druckman about this). As Ellie witnesses how Abby runs straight to Lev to save him and to comfort him "I got you, I got you", Ellie wonders if this is how Joel must have looked like when he was saving her at the hospital, judging by her facial expression. Abby tells her "There are boats this way" instead of ignoring her or threatening her, so Ellie suspects that Abby's vengeance and hatred towards Ellie, Tommy, and especially Joel are gone.
However, when Ellie sees blood she has the flashback of Joel and she cannot bring herself to let Abby go. One should note that Ellie says "I can't let you leave" and the tone is very desperate. If Ellie wanted revenge, she would have immobilized Abby by shooting her in the leg or would have said something more violent like "You're dying here, don't think it's going to be slow". Ellie's PTSD and guilt are slaving Ellie to fight. Since Abby already let all the maliciousness go, she refuses to fight Ellie. Even in the interview with Laura Bailey, she said Abby understood how Ellie felt. My take is that Abby would have let Ellie to kill her. On the contrary to what Abby suspects, Ellie is not seeking revenge; Ellie is looking for a way to escape her PTSD. Thus, Ellie threatens to kill Lev because she is so desperate.
Ellie fights Abby and barely manages to overpower her. As Ellie drowns Abby, Ellie has the flashback since the first time Ellie has killed someone, it was to save Joel from "drowning". That's why Ellie is crying. She is becoming the same person who is killing Joel. I still don't have a clear idea what triggered Ellie to have "good" flashback, but I can only assume it's because the end (of her revenge, of her PTSD, of her journey, etc) is near, she remembers the final moment with Joel.
"I don't think I can ever forgive you for that. But I would like to try."
Abby finally becomes equal to Joel when Ellie was drowning her. So when Ellie has the flashback of her final conversation with Joel, this sentence is not only to Joel, but also to Abby (I think to herself as well; forgiving herself of wasting 2 years to reconcile with Joel and treating him like shit when they finally have a conversation of a sort since she figured out the truth).
"Go. Just take him."
For the longest time, I thought "him" meant Lev. But now I can see that "him" was referring to "Joel". Ellie is finally able to let Joel go. The one who has taken Joel from Ellie is right there. So I think this sentence truly means "Go, I can let go of my vengeance. I can move on now. I'll let Joel/you go." I believe at this point. Ellie is 99% free from PTSD. The final step is to truly say good-bye to Joel. Therefore, the one last time Ellie plays the guitar and remembers the final conversation with Joel one last time. Then she leans the guitar on the wall instead of packing it back into the case (letting the guitar/Joel to be free instead of trapping it back inside). Now all Ellie has to do is to reconcile with Dina, JJ, and Tommy.
According to Neil Druckman's interview (I forgot the time stamp but I can give you the link if you'd like), I doubt Ellie reconciled with Dina before visiting their old farm. The first draft of ending is Ellie returning back to the farm only to find that Dina left with JJ and left Ellie nothing. Ellie plays guitar for one last time and she packs JJ's elephant toy (I forgot the name) in her backpack before leaving the house. Neil changed the scene because he thought Ellie packing the elephant toy gives too much away and he wanted to make the ending look as vague as possible.
I have to admit, I thought the story of this game was so fucked up despite hating Joel. However, throughout the time I realized more and more what a powerful masterpiece this game is. I wouldn't call it a 10/10 but definitely 9/10. With this game in mind, I will never ever judge something until actually having to experienced it myself.
Great thoughts/analysis! I agree with you on all parts. I can also agree with you that it's highly probable that Ellie hasn't reconciled with Dina, though I like to think that she did (since it's so vague, I'm just going for the more positive spin lol)

something else to note, when Ellie puts a knife up to Lev's throat, if Abby is Joel, and Lev is Ellie, it almost felt like Ellie threatening to cut ties with herself in a way, with her humanity. Killing a child who has no idea what's going represents the whole theme of "sins of the father" going through these games, generational suffering due to the actions of those that came before. If Ellie had killed Lev, solely out of vengeance due to Abby's actions which Lev had no control over, she would be no better than Abby's father or even Joel in her eyes. At least the doctor would have made a cure, at least Joel did it because he loved her, but killing Lev would have been just plain evil and selfish. I think that's what stops Ellie from killing Abby, when she sees Joel again, she realises that forgiving Abby is just as difficult as it was to forgive Joel, only this time it's not too late to forgive, and that she can choose to end the cycle of sins, vengeance and hatred instead of perpetuating it. If anything killing abby would have turned Lev into another Ellie, a child seeking vengeance and losing himself in the process due to the undeserved weight of the sins of those that came before.
she also struggles throughout with realising that Joel wouldn't have wanted her to avenge him, in her notes she says at one point "is this even for him anymore ?". She realises that Joel wanted her to have a meaningful life, yet her guilt for wasting her years with him for so long before forgiving him weighs heavily on her, so she's driven to keep moving. When she sees him, and remembers their last conversation where he says "I'd do it all over again" she realises that even if she did waste her years with him, Joel was happy with whatever time he got to have with her no matter how brief, and all that matters to him is that she gets to live, to love and to be loved. That realisation is at the core of the ending, as she realises that like all fathers, Joel wouldn't want her to be like him, it's implied at the beginning of the game when she says "if it were me or you, Joel would be halfway to seattle already". Ellie thinks by being more like Joel she would be honoring him, when in reality he wanted her to be better.

Maybe the jackson kid could have had some sort of partner or relation who would be anger driven and potentially be a stowaway on ellie and tommys travel maybe showing up eventually to save their live but then (waut for it) the stowaway turns out to be immune too??!!

Part 2 set the bar too high in every category. It's hard to surpass this game with another sequel, but hey, this is the same narrative people had in 2013 (the release of tlou1)
Don’t think it set the bar too high I think it’s a really good game but it’s not as good as the first game. Like the first game was a 10 and the second game was an 8 to 8.5

@@dulizardglasses3170 I agree, I think you can’t even compare the two games, the narrative is so different. Part 3 has to differ in themes from part 2, just like part 2 did from part 1. I think it wouldn’t be that hard to surpass part 1 and 2.
Great prediction video I think the story beats work you laid out may work, I do like the idea that FEDRA will come back as recurring antagonists since we haven't seen them since Part I. Also the Infected, Part 3 would be a good opportunity to lay out new Infected types.
My only issue is the setting. I don't mind Jackson coming back and going back to Catalina Island but going back to California as a main setting just seem repetitive, I would like the idea the Fireflies going to a different location because Catalina is not safe, why not move to other parts of the American southwest such as New Mexico and Texas (in fact Texas would be good symbolically as a call back to the first game especially how it started but also a good end point for the third), this setting will give the emotional impact it needs between Tommy and Ellie's relationship. Not to mention going back to Joel and Sarah's old house would be a nice addition for Ellie and Tommy to connect to Joel one last time.

Excellent scenario for The Last of Us Part III. I enjoyed every minute of the video.
I have a comment about Tommy's leg recovering over time. Tommy's walking impairment was caused by his brain injury. So without proper physiotherapy and medicine, it is highly improbable to recover.
However, Tommy being a playable character in part III may offer varied game mechanics, such as stealth focused or some ranged sniping chapters..
I would imagine Ellie would be the main character and maybe a few segments as Dina. I would also imagine a little segment were you play as JJ when he’s a little kid (don’t know how it will work) and then at the end have either a few moments we’re you play as an older JJ or a little cinematic that hints that JJ will be the 4ths (if there is one) main character. Also Joel’s decision was absolutely right, how you might ask? Well the infection is a fungus, specifically The fungus in game is a real world fungus that acts somewhat similar to the game. The thing is even in our world of the world that isn’t in ruins there is no cure to a fungus, So I highly doubt that some doctors in the post apocalypse could make one
