Halfway through this, and glad this guy doesn't work at naughty dog lmao this is a poorly written fanfic at best im surprised Ellie and Abby didn't get married at the end with everyone cheering and clapping.
I’d also love for Ellie to slowly start becoming herself again as the story continues. How long would you like the game to be? And what new gameplay mechanic would you add?
Ideally, it should be longer than Part I, but shorter than Part II. I'd rather it be a 18-20 hour quality story, rather than a 25-30 hour story with redundant action set pieces. As far as new mechanics, the ability to switch between Ellie, Tommy, Abby, and Lev during the final battle would be a really cool idea to implement imo. Other than that, I'm leaving the rest up to Naughty Dog!
She CAN'T they EFFIN ruined her. They made two toooootally different characters and JUST thought ah they're STUPID ENOUGH to buy it........ And anyone willing to fall for it in a part three you're a MORON
We need to get Naughty Dog’s attention on these videos I’ve seen at least 3 that would give part 3 the accolade of being one of the best if not the best game of all time.
@@thoughtprojecti very much like your basis around Ellie & her story, but i feel like there's superficial, underlying thematic process, that doesn't really go anywhere as a whole & it's already been done from the 1st & 2nd game... my interpretation of the 3rd game is going to have to be a standoff compared to the previous ones, so that'll mean that you'll won't play as the standard parallels that the 1st two TLOU games had, such as playing as Sarah & Joel as the 1st protagonist you play as in each TLOU game, then onwards you play the 2 remaining as what the 2 TLOU games did; TLOU3 will scrap those vignettes & introduce a new character immediately, the introduction will be a lot like how Banshee's main protagonist would be introduced (especially the song that it uses for the main protagonist), after the intro regarding a black screen & some text fonts to introduce a new TLOU game, it will then transition towards the main protagonist walking like a blur kinda like Joel did from the E3 2016 trailer of TLOU2, and he'll be walking & it will have transitions like the show called Banshee to what the main protagonist is doing. to summarise the point of this character, he's one of the big top dogs of the Hunter group, that evolved overtime since David's demise (although at the start, you wouldn't know that he was a Hunter nor you knowing the existence of the group unless there's slight hints within the transitions for the intro of the game via a st_p club, but there wouldn't be any dialogue & it will just be the music going at it with an exception for the sound effects being produced with the song), and essentially what the introduction establishes is the main protagonist setting out what he's set out to do for the Hunter group, although the audience wouldn't know the exact or direct intentions of what the main protagonist is setting out to do, but the main protagonist will do lots of 'things' such as offing a bunch of ppl at a farm (without the audience directly seeing it from the introduction, but only hinting it) for whatever reason (also, the song that Banshee uses for the introduction of the main protagonist mentions 'offing a number at the farm' so it's a nice touch that the main protagonist corresponds to the nature of the song named 'Fifth of Whiskey') & the main protagonist will just be walking away from the farm with bodies blurred in the background, but this will only happen in transition once the song gets to the part of 'offing a number at the farm' so some of the audience might pick up what's happening even though the introduction is supposed to be suble but direct at the same time. Overall, the main protagonist will be an allegory (a specific commentary) for the 'Human Essence' of what it means existing as a 'Human' & the nature of being a 'Human' - so that means in short that the game will be a lot more d__raved than the previous TLOU's for that very reason alone & the reason for this is because how TLOU2 ended with the Human Essence overtaking the whole final act of the game, although the entire game was basically like that (even TLOU1) but there's one specific reason as to what it makes it stand out & that is primarily the Rattler's & their point of existence within TLOU itself; the Hunter Group that the Main Protagonist is a part of will have very similar vignette's from one another with the Rattlers. my interpretation will still include Ellie, but you'll won't play as her until like the middle of the game & the reason for that is because the main protagonist & Ellie will have special roles for each other for the story i just smeared through in my mind, but the story will have specific structuring that of 'Heart of Darkness' (which TLOU I utilised this specific structuring for Joel) & will take inspirations for the much later part of the story through the main protagonist to being undercover for a city that he found along the way (for what reason that may be) & so he'll operate as a Sheriff, which will correspond to the inspirations for the main protagonist being a Sheriff such as The Wolf Among Us & Banshee. there's a lot more to this, but im intentionally trying to miniscule the details... The First Act will be about the main protagonist being some sort of undercover agent/hitman for the Hunter group & he'll also bring in updates & keep in touch with the Hunter Society... The Second Act will be about 'keeping appearances' such as manipulating a whole town by keeping an appearance (like Banshee) for a purpose that'll the player/audience semi-know about regarding the intentions behind the main protagonist; he'll basically try to gain the trust of the new town that he discovered & will eventually become a sheriff, but admist of this he'll still keep in touch with the Hunter group; he'll then encounter Ellie (who is on a broken, set path for her existence that she keeps though living) & the main protagonist will take a liking to her (for specific reasons), both will then take an eventual liking for each other & will essentially become like another Joel & Ellie relationship, but have drawn in vignette's against David for them being more intimate with each other compared to Joel & Ellie, where Joel's deep affection wasn't about what someone like David was striving for; the reason for this is because of the Allegory for what the 'Human Essence' is & how for both the main protagonist & Ellie to be going out for one another will mean that '___xuality' - is just a prescriptive abstraction that's made to divide based on a social construction of setting a higher set of perceived standards, that determines the indoctrinated polarization based on the division that '___xual orientation' exemplifies through its 'progressive meaning' that only enacts on generalisation & differentiation, which makes '___uality' as a whole or a social construction as a allegorical & paradoxical means of indoctrinating & polarizing against the essence of being a 'Human'... this is also goes to 'Gender' (& the subset to all this, which is 'masculinity & femininity') to which is all based on Gender Constructivism, which this abstraction exemplifies the subset that goes against 'Gender Constructivism' such as 'Gender Essentialism & Performativity' being a 'Human' is what matters in essence as is Male & Female since both are intertwined into being a 'Human' - nothing more & nothing less. The main protagonist will draw vignettes for the allegory of the 'Human Essence' against Ellie by arguing against superficial, Modernistic, prescriptive dichotomy's or abstractions such as 'Good & Evil, Right & Wrong, Hero & Villain, Change, Normality, Morality' - etc. Ellie's part regarding TLOU1 was always subjected towards the superficial nature of her own perception regarding 'Humanity' TLOU2 was about her breaking what she was subjected to the superficial perception of 'Humanity' & the 'Progressive Meaning' that Humans perceive to strive for within existence; TLOU3 will be about her outlook & acknowledgement of the superficial nature that's been subjected onto 'Humanity' & her breaking point that was already subjected for & against Ellie in TLOU2; the main protagonist will be the allegory for Ellie & what the main protagonist will juxtapose against her as a drawn in vignette against Ellie. the end part of Act II, will be about how the main protagonist will initiate an attack on the town with the Hunter's & you'll go on a rampage with the main protagonist, while making sure that Ellie will stay alive for her to see it & she'll eventually run away from the town. Now the reason why the protagonist will take a strong liking for Ellie is because of the fact that, the main protagonist will be a son of David who's around the same age as Ellie so that means that, the protagonist existed since TLOU1 & giving how David kept child brides, the protagonist would've been born out of one of David's child brides & David would take a strong liking for his own son in his own way - the reason why is because of what the Main Protagonist is subjected towards to, which essentially is like Ellie, but done inversely & David is supposed to be the culprit of the allegory of the 'Human Essence' just like Joel & others, but done in a specific meta-commentary way about the subject matter, to which all four a.k.a the main protagonist of TLOU III, Joel, David & Abby all represent one key factor, that's juxtaposed internally for Ellie (in the case for Abby, she's a whole parallel for both Ellie & Joel/David & her key-figure role for Lev) & a figure that takes care of her & that is how Ellie 'means the world to that figure' - which the main protagonist will project David's deep affection as is Joel & a Mother figure, that the main protagonist never had (because the it was one of David's child brides & he probably did something to that bride especially with his Hunter's)
@@thoughtprojectthe final act a.k.a The Third Act, will be about Ellie & her return trying to return to Jackson, but ultimately ending up stranded in a unknown town & will experience a whole group like the Hunter's, WLF, Rattler's & will essentially have to go through the sheer d__avity, that she experienced through the Hunter's raiding on the town, that she was a part of & will project everything that transpired for what the main protagonist did & the Hunter's raid against the town, this'll be basically like Santa Barbara 2.0, she'll eventually off everyone & try to get back to Jackson, the it will transition back to the Main Protagonist, who's too sick for Ellie & what he & the Hunter's has set out to do by overtaking towns (like the WLF planned to do by Isaac's hand) & essentially what he's been doing from the 1st act, but dialed up to x100, but eventually the main protagonist & his group will follow a lead, that will render back towards Jackson as how the Hunter's been doing from the beginning of TLOU2's by trying to raid, but failing... so to quickly summarize, you'll play as both Ellie & the Main Protagonist by transitioning based off progressing 'meaning' that Ellie strives for & will subject that with Tommy to go out looking for the Fireflies, while the main protagonist will strive for 'progressive meaning' inversely for Ellie; Act 3 will have Ellie going back to Jackson & trying to get back with Dina, but Dina won't because of what Ellie broke & Ellie will try to project what was subjected for Ellie by the main protagonist; Dina will essentially represent the allegory of the vignette, that Ellie subjects towards internally for what Ellie was like during the end of TLOU2 & after, until what the main protagonist subjected himself onto Ellie - the other part of Ellie's allegory will be coming to terms with Tommy, who both try to reconcile with one another, but both internally are shaped together against what had happened during TLOU2 & everything that transpired with Ellie & Tommy, who both will shape the circumstances for what was to set out to what Tommy was subjected towards to & Ellie herself (which means that both Ellie & Tommy understand and acknowledge the outlook & the progressive existence of 'meaning' that Humanity strives for), but Ellie's intentions won't be in essence the same as Tommy's, however she keeps it ambiguous for Tommy to go & set out for the Fireflies (as how both Joel & Ellie did from the 1st game), however things will not go too smoothly because of what Ellie didn't do against Abby & how Tommy became too fixated against Abby & so Tommy will enact on his fixation & project that against Ellie by trying to off her, however Jackson is attacked & getting raided by the Hunter's & then you'll transition to the main protagonist going on a rampage, while trying to find Ellie but then you'll transition to Ellie going on a rampage against the Hunter's, then both Ellie & the main protagonist encounter each other with hundreds of bodies laying on the ground (with Tommy no where to be seen) & both will initiate conflict with one another with Ellie trying to off the Main Protagonist, while the main protagonist will try to subdue her (although sharp weapons will still be used against Ellie) & this conflict will essentially draw parallels with Ellie & David as it did with Abby & Ellie, but difference is that you'll transition from one another & will be difficult to process to what you want to do & will create tension, suspense of what will proceed; however it will end off as how David & Ellie proceeded but Tommy will be the one that'll save Ellie & greatoy injure the main protagonist who'll still run away & survive... then, some days later passes by & Ellie will manipulate Tommy to what she sets out to do (which will draw a vignette from the main protagonist as he did with Ellie), thus Tommy agrees & both will go on to try & find the Fireflies based off of what Tommy knew of regarding Abby & the Fireflies; it will then transition to the 'main protagonist' who's too sick for Ellie (i forgot to mention, but since David knew of Ellie being immune, this will further exemplify for what the allegorical part of the 'Human Essence' that'll progress the existence of 'meaning' in regards to what Humanity will strive for, to which the protagonist knows that 'Humanity' as a whole cannot be cured out of a faux idyllic means of existing as Humans, & and will subject that against Ellie; to which the main protagonist will be aware of this fact about Ellie, since his Father's demise & the Hunter's knowing about Ellie being immune, so ever since the main protagonist meets up with Ellie, he'll know that she's immune if she confirms that she's immune, but that's only if they're having a deep affection with one another in the relationship & with this, then Ellie will talk about the Fireflies & her involvement in it & wanting a cure to progress 'meaning' of existence for Humanity), & will eventually find a lead to the Fireflies from the remains of Jackson, (im leaving out the gameplay sections, as that will make this dragon-scroll text even longer) then it will transition to Ellie & Tommy & eventually will find Abby (& her backup) instead & Tommy will initiate an attack on Abby, which will transpire inversed events compared to how both Joel & Ellie found the fireflies, however things won't go down as it did with Joel & Ellie from the 1st game, to which Ellie will be subjected towards a decision that she'll choose, it then transitions to the main protagonist & his Hunter's raiding the town, that the Fireflies are based in... my other interpretation that i have for Act 3 is based off of having Ellie returning the same way to Jackson & trying to reconcile with Dina & Tommy, but this time the Fireflies will raid on Jackson & are looking for the immune girl, to which Abby is either with them on the frontlines or back at the HQ of the Fireflies in the town that she's from... & either 2 things will happen from this premise, either the Fireflies are successful & kidnap Ellie or the Hunter's raid Jackson & are admist of the war going on against Jackson & the Fireflies & either the Hunter's take Ellie from & fail to overtake Jackson or the Fireflies take Ellie & that way, the Hunter's are going to track down the Fireflies HQ to stop a cure & take back Ellie, which for the conclusion of the story will be an allegory of the 'progressive meaning' of existence, regarding the end of the world with no cure for Humans to progress through (as if the cure will be 100% guaranteed, with endless possibilities that if a cure does work, then how will it get distributed for the ideal procedures taking place)...
I really think Abby really was just human, and caught in the same cycle of violence as anybody else. She mirrors both Joel and Ellie, and is so much more complex than some people realize Loved the video !! A third game would be so wonderful. And healing being the main theme would just be perfect
I very much agree. The Abby haters are most likely chuds who still live in their parents' basement with a stunted worldview and a stunted perspective on human relationships and mental health.
If she mirrors them why even bringing a new character in with the exact same flaws? 😂 why would anyone do that? Just move on with the beloved characters. We all have flaws it's ok.
@@geraltvonriva9873 you realize the entire sequel was based on following up on exactly how the first game ended, right? It makes perfect sense. Abby's experiences and actions, although similar to Ellie and Joel's, are also very different. I actually preferred Abby's character over Ellie's in the sequel and hope they continue with her as a main character moving forward.
I know most people hate the idea that dina would take Ellie back but I think that’s the only thing that makes sense for Dina. Before they got together, we saw how Dina was the kind of girl that would go from person to person, looking for attention and her and Jessie being on and off (probably because Dina would get bored and start a fight lol) but finding actual love with Ellie changes Dina. The need for validation is satiated because Ellie and her can have moments of pure love and affection. But at the farm there was still Ellie’s pain and heartbreak for the time she lost with Joel between them, keeping them from truly being happy. I think it only makes sense that Dina couldn’t go back to Jackson and just go back to her old ways. I think she’d have been waiting for Ellie to come back whether she wanted to or not. I just can’t see Dina being able to move on fast the way she could in the past. I could see them being a bit like Tess and Joel, where they aren’t a romantic unit in public all the time but they are a family in their own way. I could see them living in Jackson together but that Ellie has a separate place she goes when she’s not doing great and needs time alone. I believe that leaves room for both their individual needs in their relationship, building on what we saw Joel living like in part 1. Most people think Ellie deserves to be a lonely aging loser living alone with the anguish of her decisions for the rest of time but I just don’t think that makes sense for the meaning of her letting Abby go alive. Ellie saw many people come and go from her life and this world, I can’t imagine she’d go on in life letting time and pain steal the family she built with Dina.
True but pure love can also be from a distance. From dina's pov maybe that was a major red flag and instead of wife material , Ellie should be friend material bc she's not enough to handle raising a kid.
i think they should be a family in the end (cause considering the stuff they went thru, they already are) but i kinda see dina in ellies position in tlou2 and ellie in joels, dina might not forgive her but id like to see her try. ellie wasnt truly herself back at the farm and id like it if they had a real chance together. plus, the point of the third installment should be redemption and i think for it to work dina should in a way accept ellie if that makes any sense
We have no idea what went on in her previous relationships 😂 there’s no reason to assume things are different with Ellie especially since they were together for like a month or two
I get the idea the 3rd one will show their relationship on a long road to recovery and there are things that can't be taken back. But there may be a lingering love for Ellie from Dinha but she'll decide what's best of AJ
The part about Ellie carrying JJ made me pause and cry. Thank you for making this video! I enjoyed the game so much, and this is pretty much exactly how I'd want a Part III to go.
ME. TOO. i literally saw it as he spoke. This story is so important to so many of us & i rly hope we get another installment that atleast has that scene or something like it
15:33 , actually brought tears to my eyes. Disregarding how unrealistic a watch that has been dead for 30 years to tick again, the symbolism is amazing and i would LOVE if this is how the game actually ends. Amazing writing my guy, an actual masterclass 😌
I feel like it’s worth mentioning that Abby doesn’t even know Ellie’s name. She heard it spoken once throughout her life, when Tommy told Ellie to drop the gun, but I doubt Abby would remember the name in the heat of the fight.
Yes! I’ve been saying this since part 2 came out. This game NEEDED to be this way. It’s building towards a bigger picture and part 2 was stepping stone that although very bitter Must happen. I’ve also said that Ellie and Abby should end up having to work together in the 3rd game. It would make for some really good situations/dialogue. Their both so different but also alike and putting them in a situation where they both have to rely on each other to survive would make for some really good story. I’m super excited for the 3rd game
That would be cool I wanna see ellie and Abby team up maybe in the end they save everyone and end on good terms I wouldn't mind seeing a last of us sinn off of other characters would be nice to.
Idk what anyone else says or wants but I want to see Ellie and Abby meet again. I think it would be cool for Tommy and Ellie to walk into a firefly spot and be introduced and whatnot and then they open a door and there, looking at a map or some paperwork if some sort, stands Abby. They look at each other, shocked, and Tommy tries to go after her but Ellie, along with other fireflies, stop tommy and pull them apart
Abby would have died if Tommy had not confronted Ellie about her being spotted. She would have died a really horrible slow death, Lev too. I would really like to see them put their shit aside, fight a common enemy and then either get this cure on the table or to start to find a way to clean up the infected etc. Surely there were notes that Abby's father had about the procedure, just because joel killed him does not mean someone else cant do the job.
That's a valid point. I just don't know if they'd wanna rehash the cure plotline, it seems a little too predictable. Don't get me wrong, predictable is fine as long as it feels earned. But if they did go through with it, I feel like it would undermine what Joel did at the end of Part I.
@@thoughtprojectWhat if they write so that they only manage to fully recover and restore the procedure methods once Ellie is already old and dying anyway?
@@thoughtproject I don’t even think Ellie would go through with it either knowing WHY Joel did it. Yeah, he did it and Ellie didn’t like what he did but now she knows WHY and I feel like she wouldn’t go through it bc it would all be in vain. He would’ve died for nothing. Like an Ellie thought process could go like “he died bc he saved me.” And so I think with that in mind, she wouldn’t be able to go through with it. Either that or have a serious moral dilemma of “should I/should I not” with a cure, considering all her options and past experiences
@@emilyriley6029 I love that line "he died because he saved me." Personally I think a parallel to Joel could be done with Ellie at the end of the game. Like either she sacrifices herself to get a cure or to save somebody else (JJ?) Although she dies, she dies happy, saving others while understanding Joel and wanting to follow in his footsteps
The call back to Joel carrying his daughter at the beginning of the first game is already referenced at the end of the first game, when Joel carries Ellie to safety from the hopsital. That is not to say it wouldn't work a second time.
This was such a great posible story! I really would love to see something like this on Part III. I agree, this characters deserve a good or bittersweet ending, especially Ellie. Amazing video ❤
I really like the ending but I think it could be improved even. Maybe have Ellie be injured and have Tommy carrying her to safety, mirroring his brother and have Abby be the one to kill the general and Tommy shield Ellie with his own body, making sure Joel doesn’t lose his other daughter, remembering what happened last time. Could make for an emotional scene with Tommy forgiving Abby as he dies and telling Ellie to live her life with purpose
Beautifully said! My bet for Part III is that Ellie eventually finds another doctor(s) able to synthese an antidote without killing her - Joel's decision from Part I is rewarded, Ellie gets her sense of meaning and humanity survives.
Druckman would see that as being respectful of Joel as a character, who he despises. If his memory is served in any way that could comfort Ellie, it isn't going to happen. She isn't even allowed to connect with him through music.
This is an amazing breathtaking story that we all need to see in action. Naughty Dog better watch this video and take notes on what to do and how to move the story smoothly and impactfully. Thank you for sharing this ❤❤
An neat DLC to that tale could end with Ellie and JJ, a few years later, finding an arcade cabinet that works and Ellie gets excited and encourages JJ to try it. He walks up to it and it’s Savage Starlight the game and this time, he actually gets to play a little of it while Ellie watches. (And this ends up being a teaser to ND’s next game. Might be a reach about the teaser, but would be cool to see the rest.)
As an aspiring writer, its the human condition that makes a great story, weather you love a character or not. And The Last of us just resonates with me so much. The dynamic between Joel and Ellie is beautiful, and the need for revenge is so easy understand, yet easy to condone as well. And i think your idea would be cool. A group that consists of Lev, Abby, Ellie, and Tommy would be interesting. I could see Tommy trying to kill her more than once.
I think this sounds amazing. One other thing i'd want is for JJ to have a major role. Ellie could have a motherly/big sister type bond with him, similar to the father/daughter relationship she had with joel, bringing things full circle. I also think that dina would die by an infected during the final battle, and ellie could raise jj like her own son, fully redeeming herself for abandoning dina and jj in pt 2, which I think would be very heartwarming. However, dina surviving would be awesome too.
@thoughtproject yeah, the reason why I bring this up is because while I love the your ending with ellie carrying jj as a parallel to the beginning of pt 1, I feel like it may need more build up to make it truly hit, like jj could go on the journey with ellie, giving them time to bond. It makes thematic sense for ellie to take on a parental role, like Joel in the first game, bringing things full circle. One things for sure though, I want ellies story to at least end with her getting her happy life with dina, and jj that she so richly deserves.
another amazing video! i completely agree and have been saying that if they make a 3rd game (which they really should) it will definitely be about redemption and ellie learning to come to terms with everything that’s happen.
a reunion in part 3 with the emotional capacity for Ellie and Abby to connect, understand each others loses is tremendous and would fit naughty dog pretty well, considering how much feelings they put in part 1 and 2
I like the idea that Abby spends her time on the Catalina islands studying medicine and science for near decades. She eventually reunites with Ellie and Ellie is finally able to make the decision to surrender herself to someone who could generate a cure from her. The screen goes black at the end of the game and you’re left to wonder if Ellie really could have generated a cure and whether that ever mattered in the first place
@@thoughtproject that doesn't matter, because that's not what Ellie wanted. I honestly prefer this idea than your story. It doesn't convince me. I get the redemption plot, but this felt like a fantasy rather than reality.
@@daph0307Honestly I think the this is more fantasy than projects, I think they should go with something that doesn’t have a fairytale ending (saving the world with a cure) and stuff ya know?
@@daph0307 I agree. I believe that Elie finaly, having the capacity to decide to do it or not would be more intersting, but I also believe that TLOU does not Need a secuel, at least not Joel, for obvious reasons, neither Elie, to me makes perfect sense Elie going to jackson to get back her relationship with Dina and the boy, and after a taste period, she finaly gets it
@@Joryu-Well, it does not necesary has to save the world. A lot of people has argue that fireflies would fail to produce enough vaccine and other problems related with resources
I have been a fan of the last of us for years now, after watching every video in this series I'm shocked that even in this video there were details I've missed. I can say without a doubt that this series is one of my favorites when it comes to these games/shows. Phenomenal work as per usual. Can't wait to see what you do next
I actually think Abby was molded into a pschyo by Joel's actions. You have to be psychotic to murder someone the way she did, after he saved her life, and while Ellie watched
I wish Ellie and Dina got to be together because even after what Ellie did, she was still going through grief and the way her own family died aka Joel had gone out was reasonable
This is a terrible take actually. Abby was molded further into a human going after her father’s killer. Anyone with a pair of balls would do the same. We all have capacity to perform dark acts in life. To think one morally just and “good” is infantile thinking. All players see themselves in both Ellie and Abby by the end of part 2 and that is by design.
Man the bit of Ellie carrying jj in her arms like joel carried Sarah nearly had me in tears. But the bit at the grave did have me in tears. This was a really goof story that i woulf love to see in game
I really appreciate how passionate you are about the games, I too adore these games above any other game or film franchise. I think everyone has their own idea of how they would want part 3 to go, but I just want to say that I found some of your plot points really interesting, really good work!
I think a good potential for PART III having Joel as a ghost talking with Ellie through the whole story. Same concept as in Batman Arkham Knight with Joker
I think part 3 should be the reverse of part 1, except now Ellie is where Joel was in the first game. They could have her meet someone on the road that’s similar in age to her but reminds her of Joel a lot, and through this person she can learn to find herself again. I think that would be a very poetic and beautiful way to close out the story.
I feel like it's got the potential to go full circle and Ellie will sacrifice her life in the end to save Abby or someone else. A full redemption of her character.
It would be nice to also get some more back stories. Like tommy, maybe eugene, also dina. I know it’s a far reach but id also love to see more flashbacks with joel. may he RIP.
this was an amazing video man your creativity and story was on another level!! I honestly would love for naughty thing to take your ideas into their own adaptation
Outstanding storyline 👏 I really couldn’t get onboard with Abi at-all even to this day, but this story you’ve written would be a truly perfect way to round off a truly epic Franchise Bravo 👏
I think redemption is the likely path. I’ve always seen this as a trilogy the second I finished 2. Part 1- Focuses on the daughter, Part 2- Focuses on the father and finally Part 3- Focusing on the mother. Part 2 clearly builds up both Abby and Ellie the potential of motherhood and having both of these characters attempt to make “the best” world for their kin definitely makes sense. We also know next to nothing about Ellie and Abby’s mother so flashbacks giving us fleeting moments with these characters would be really wonderful imo.
This was incredible. Naughty Dog hire this man. The campfire discussion is something I’ve wanted ever since completing part II. But Ellie carrying JJ and that callback to Joel and Sarah really hit me. “As the camera pans over. And who else to deliver the kill shot. Abby Anderson.”Made me tear up. Thank you for sharing this possible story line.
I always thought a potential Part III couldn't be done without Ellie dying for a cure, but this redemption story you've conjured up could make this franchise one of the greatest trilogies of all time. Good video Mr. TH-cam Guy 👍🏾
In that subway on part 2, right where Dina pushes that thing down for you to climb up, there is a huge poster with a lot of stuff on it. I think it is saying JJ is gonna be a ninja. Lmao
I had all but just forgotten this series over the last couple months and all I can think is that I’m feeling some strong stuff right now because Ellie and Joel and their stories resonated with me so well. I’m gonna have to replay them games to feel what it is that I lost
Your story is literally perfect on so many levels the part with jj getting injured and on the brink of getting shot and then abby comes in clutch saving them is the best part though
I agree I always thought that TLOU was going to be set up as a trilogy about love, hate, and forgiveness/redemption and i'm excited to see what a third game will lead too. Story really doesn't feel finished right now with the ending of tlou2. I agree with the idea of curing the world with ellie being the wrong narrative choice too. Her story should be about learning to accept the good her life brings to the world and not as a sacrifice.
The watch idea is nice on paper, I’m genuinely curious how it would start ticking again after all the time, logistically, haha. Definitely had the idea of introducing a new faction but I always wondered what if someone could control the infected. Some device or technique that could control their movements and attention. Then have the leader of that faction decide that this is the new world and will fight to keep it this way. Ellie and Abby should def have that talk about her true past. I hope we see a Part 3
This sounds brilliant! I really like the scenes you crafted between ellie, Tommy and Abby around the fire, and towards the end as Abby asks for forgiveness. Both of which sound very emotionally investing, even with Tommy just simply shaking her hand as a subtle means of saying I acknowledge your regret and everything good you’ve done since but am still nowhere near able to forgive you which is perfectly in line with Tommy’s I bitterness after all these years and his awkwardness. I would highly recommend watching Wolf of Thornes video on a potential Part 3 narrative as it was also great!
I cried that was beautiful !!! Ugh I don’t want to have to wait YEARS for part 3 🥺 I absolutely love TLOUS I never had a video game other than Dins attach to me this way 😢 I hope they speed it up seriously
Should have a scene added where Ellie gets a near death experience where she starts to see Joel as her subconscious and she gets to hear him say she needs to find a way to forgive Abby
I really like the idea of Abby and Ellie going on a mission together and at some point Abby is reminded of a pun joke her dad used to say a lot, mentioning how her dad loved that kind of humor and Ellie reminisces on how Joel hated that kind of stuff when they first started out but he ended up joining in on it in the end. In this interaction Abby gives a vulnerable comment of "I wish I knew the real joel, the way you knew him". The interaction grows silent as both of them are reminded of their conflict but a common ground between them has been made.
Oh my god ! I literally watched this thinking that this is a spoiler. If this isn’t the story now I will be bitterly disappointed. Well done Sir you have an amazing understanding of the narrative here and have summarised it all perfectly with a great third instalment.
After how badly the first two games broke me emotionally, I found this oddly healing. I really hope there are some aspects of your story in the next game. It is so very much needed. I need a happy ending for Ellie, in one way or another.
A bold but possibly unlikely prediction of mine is that Ellie and Abby will get their own sides of the story again as well as a flashback story of Ellie's mother Anna and Marlene during their early days of leading the Firefly insurgency. Which could even be tied to both Ellie and Abby's side plots. Both plots can have Ellie and Abby crossing paths again, shelving their grudges aside, and eventually learning together a disturbing truth Marlene had shielded from them both to protect them from a sinister rival of the Fireflies. A plot twist that reveals Ellie and Abby both born from Anna as sisters seperated at birth. Another bold creative decision Naughty Dog could make to truly enable whatever forgiveness Ellie and Abby can offer each other. Whether that divides the fans again or not.
I JUST played these two games this summer and have really enjoyed diving into them. After watching many videos analysing the 2nd one, I've come to appreciate it even more and after hearing your idea of a 3rd game, it makes so much sense to me (more than other predictive ones I watched). There are a lot of threads that connect back, and I agree that a theme of redemption fits after everything that happened. From Abby saving Ellie/JJ to the watch ticking to finding a new purpose....golden. The only thing I would add is adding Dina into that redemption as well (again, a happier ending that's earned - in this case though, perhaps by a character rather than a player). Awesome video!
This is the most well constructed thought process I have seen as far as a story for a third game, and you deserve mini commendations for articulating it so well, I hope this is what happens and even if it isn’t I love this as an idea, thank you.
Abby is immune…..biting Ellie’s fingers off right next to a fresh clicker bite likely swallowing some of Ellie’s blood in the process that specific sequence of events makes me think she’s now immune as well and has inadvertently found how to make a cure without killing Ellie
This video is amazing. I’m sitting here just thinking about this story playing out, I’m actually blown away. I really do hope we can get a part 3 and something along these lines would be so perfect. This’ll forever be my favourite video game franchise.
“The only true difference between a hero and a villain, is that a hero will sacrifice you to save the world, while a villain will sacrifice the world to save you”
There is a big part of my heart that belongs to The Last of Us story/franchise and listening to your interpretation of what part three could have in store, made that part of my heart sore with happiness, longing, and hope. Thank you for that, from one fan to another.
I also wish the third game would show more scenes and flashbacks from outbreak day in other cities and how Joel and Tommy survived over the years, Dina’s story growing up in Albequerque, Joel and Ellie’s journey from Pittsburgh to Jackson after Henry and Sam’s death, etc!
Well done! I agree that the next one should be about redemption. Especially for Ellie and Abby. I could also see Lev die, saving Ellie.. or Tommy dying saving Lev.. making Ellie and Abby even more bonded in some way. I don't know.. whatever they decide to do with the story, I'll be there to play it. No doubt!
i love how grounded in reality you are. 16:00 - a breath of fresh air of just good ol speculation. none of that clickbait shit. what if she took joels watch and brought it to be repaired. fixed the glass and gave it a battery. - or left joels watch as it is but found her own watch with a working battery.
When I replayed part 2 most recently, I noticed parallels between Abby’s character development and Joel’s. To me they’re practically the same person and I think Ellie’s feelings toward Abby reflects that. Ellie hates Abby for killing the Joel she loved, in a very similar way that she hates Joel for killing the man she once knew as a father. I think a lot of fans don’t like Abby just because they’re closed minded, and I want to see what Abby and the Fireflies are planning on Catalina island. I’m certain that in part 3, Ellie *must* die, and Abby has to kill her, but Ellie will die happy with a life ensured for her stepson.
I agree with what you said about how Abby reflects Joel, I really like her as a character. But why must Ellie die at the hands of Abby? If it's for a cure, I guess that makes sense, but I still feel like that would undermine everything that Joel did for Ellie in Part I. It wouldn't be a satisfying conclusion imo.
@@nou1186 i think if they decide to go back down the cure storyline and Ellie has to die by her own choice, Abby should be the one to do it, but not out of hate or revenge or even mercy.
This is a sound idea my friend. I feel exactly as you described about these stories. I am a conservative from the Midwest and these characters are near and dear to my heart. I was never bashed over the head with LGBT themes. They are just characters in this similar predicament and their sexuality happened to show through the veil of sorrow and suspense. Crappy games with crappy stories have 5+ sequels. I don’t see a world where this story doesn’t get at least one more entry. At least I don’t want to. If we don’t get another chapter, I’ll accept your plot as official canon. Bravo.
I honestly think tommy should save them at the end, Ik that Abby needs redemption but it would be good for tommy to kill the general, and the run in front of Ellie like he does for Joel in the first game, as if Ellie has filled Joel’s spot and his impact on her is revealed as she does exactly as he did. This also allows tommy to have saved what happened to Joel happening to Ellie
That's a beautiful story and I genuinely hope whatever Part III ends up being resembles even %10 of what you've presented us. There's a lot of fantastic ideas, themes, and setups in what you've come up with.
Pt 3 will begin with Abby and Lev finding the fireflies who are in contact with a firefly cell from South America who has the oriiginal Patient 0 who is infected and contagious but not turned or growing fungus from their body. One of the doctors working there finds out that by combining both Ellie’s and patient 0’s dna a cure can be made but only if they are alive. This will take us to back to pt 1 where Joel saving Ellie from the surgery actually saved the worlds only hope for a cure. Jerry was so desperate to make a vaccine he misdiagnosed her. I do like your idea but have the General be someone who knows of Ellie and her immunity and doesn’t want a cure made. He believes the world had its chance and wants to keep things the way they are. Also, you got to bring in new infected, the tendrils and have the fungus mutate to the point where if you get touched by any of them on bare skin, the tendrils grow into you and infect you.
Yeah I just don't see them making Jerry the bad guy definitely, that was their point in part 2 to show us Joel wasn't the good guy. It's mostly wishful thinking trying to make Joel a hero but he isn't even Neil wanted people to be pissed with Joel because he. was. wrong. Hence why he did part 2 the way he did it, making part 3 completely dismisses why he did what he did with part 2 makes part 2 worthless.
@@thoughtproject don't know how parasites can come to the mix,it would be too wild,I would really like to see it in terms of gameplay but it just doesn't fit in with the universe of the last of us
Not sure if I like the idea of Ellie answering Abbys question of "do you forgive me?" I'd rather have them meet at the cemetry, and her at first being really ambiguos about it, just to finally put Joel's watch on the grave and the watch starting to move forward just like these two are seen marching forward and therefore suggesting a move forward symbolically rather than spoken out. Also, maybe no introduction of another fraction, but rather reusing the WLF (which has regained a lot of strength after being decimated after the massacre) or the Seraphites? I really like your ideas though, I think it's a really cohesive story that would make a lot of sense to tell.
I love the watch ending, I genuinely think that could be the ending to part 3. Would be the perfect way to tie the beginning of the entire story to the end of it
To me, it felt almost too obvious the direction Part III could take. Part I was about being a father, Part II was about being a daughter, and my bet is that Part III will come full circle and will be about motherhood. That is, Ellie being a mother to JJ (Joel Jesse) and about her finding some sort of redemption. So the roles are reversed, Ellie will be the parent and Joel Jesse will be the child. I'm thinking there will be a big time jump, maybe 15 years after the end of Part II, with Ellie in her mid 30s and JJ being about 15 years old. I think that in terms of structure and with playable characters, Part III will be different than II, being more similar with Part I, just playing as Ellie and JJ.
It's so nice to hear from someone who actually cares for Abby, because god do I fucking love her character. I NEED to know what happened to her after the events of the second game.
dude seriously yet casually plotted out an entire video game plot and story. GOAT
@@thoughtproject dude, I really hope TLOU3 follows atleast a bit of your idea, it was amazing.
Halfway through this, and glad this guy doesn't work at naughty dog lmao this is a poorly written fanfic at best im surprised Ellie and Abby didn't get married at the end with everyone cheering and clapping.
Yeah gonna be honest, was really impressed with his story writing skills. Write a book man seriously I might buy it lol
@@thoughtproject that would be great, i’d also love for implementation of being able to hide dead bodies after killing them.

Your story was actually really good, and the watch ticking at the end actually gave me goosebumps. That was really fun to listen to. Well done man!
Thanks man!
We need to get Naughty Dog’s attention on these videos I’ve seen at least 3 that would give part 3 the accolade of being one of the best if not the best game of all time.
@@Audinnnarydefinitely. I can see TLOU3 topping the first game if done correctly
I agree with the watch so much
Honestly man, I cried at the end.
I’d love to see Ellie heal. She deserves the life Joel wanted for her
Without a doubt.
@@thoughtprojectthe final act a.k.a The Third Act, will be about Ellie & her return trying to return to Jackson, but ultimately ending up stranded in a unknown town & will experience a whole group like the Hunter's, WLF, Rattler's & will essentially have to go through the sheer d__avity, that she experienced through the Hunter's raiding on the town, that she was a part of & will project everything that transpired for what the main protagonist did & the Hunter's raid against the town, this'll be basically like Santa Barbara 2.0, she'll eventually off everyone & try to get back to Jackson, the it will transition back to the Main Protagonist, who's too sick for Ellie & what he & the Hunter's has set out to do by overtaking towns (like the WLF planned to do by Isaac's hand) & essentially what he's been doing from the 1st act, but dialed up to x100, but eventually the main protagonist & his group will follow a lead, that will render back towards Jackson as how the Hunter's been doing from the beginning of TLOU2's by trying to raid, but failing...
so to quickly summarize, you'll play as both Ellie & the Main Protagonist by transitioning based off progressing 'meaning' that Ellie strives for & will subject that with Tommy to go out looking for the Fireflies, while the main protagonist will strive for 'progressive meaning' inversely for Ellie; Act 3 will have Ellie going back to Jackson & trying to get back with Dina, but Dina won't because of what Ellie broke & Ellie will try to project what was subjected for Ellie by the main protagonist; Dina will essentially represent the allegory of the vignette, that Ellie subjects towards internally for what Ellie was like during the end of TLOU2 & after, until what the main protagonist subjected himself onto Ellie - the other part of Ellie's allegory will be coming to terms with Tommy, who both try to reconcile with one another, but both internally are shaped together against what had happened during TLOU2 & everything that transpired with Ellie & Tommy, who both will shape the circumstances for what was to set out to what Tommy was subjected towards to & Ellie herself (which means that both Ellie & Tommy understand and acknowledge the outlook & the progressive existence of 'meaning' that Humanity strives for), but Ellie's intentions won't be in essence the same as Tommy's, however she keeps it ambiguous for Tommy to go & set out for the Fireflies (as how both Joel & Ellie did from the 1st game), however things will not go too smoothly because of what Ellie didn't do against Abby & how Tommy became too fixated against Abby & so Tommy will enact on his fixation & project that against Ellie by trying to off her, however Jackson is attacked & getting raided by the Hunter's & then you'll transition to the main protagonist going on a rampage, while trying to find Ellie but then you'll transition to Ellie going on a rampage against the Hunter's, then both Ellie & the main protagonist encounter each other with hundreds of bodies laying on the ground (with Tommy no where to be seen) & both will initiate conflict with one another with Ellie trying to off the Main Protagonist, while the main protagonist will try to subdue her (although sharp weapons will still be used against Ellie) & this conflict will essentially draw parallels with Ellie & David as it did with Abby & Ellie, but difference is that you'll transition from one another & will be difficult to process to what you want to do & will create tension, suspense of what will proceed; however it will end off as how David & Ellie proceeded but Tommy will be the one that'll save Ellie & greatoy injure the main protagonist who'll still run away & survive...
then, some days later passes by & Ellie will manipulate Tommy to what she sets out to do (which will draw a vignette from the main protagonist as he did with Ellie), thus Tommy agrees & both will go on to try & find the Fireflies based off of what Tommy knew of regarding Abby & the Fireflies; it will then transition to the 'main protagonist' who's too sick for Ellie
(i forgot to mention, but since David knew of Ellie being immune, this will further exemplify for what the allegorical part of the 'Human Essence' that'll progress the existence of 'meaning' in regards to what Humanity will strive for, to which the protagonist knows that 'Humanity' as a whole cannot be cured out of a faux idyllic means of existing as Humans, & and will subject that against Ellie; to which the main protagonist will be aware of this fact about Ellie, since his Father's demise & the Hunter's knowing about Ellie being immune, so ever since the main protagonist meets up with Ellie, he'll know that she's immune if she confirms that she's immune, but that's only if they're having a deep affection with one another in the relationship & with this, then Ellie will talk about the Fireflies & her involvement in it & wanting a cure to progress 'meaning' of existence for Humanity),
& will eventually find a lead to the Fireflies from the remains of Jackson, (im leaving out the gameplay sections, as that will make this dragon-scroll text even longer) then it will transition to Ellie & Tommy & eventually will find Abby (& her backup) instead & Tommy will initiate an attack on Abby, which will transpire inversed events compared to how both Joel & Ellie found the fireflies, however things won't go down as it did with Joel & Ellie from the 1st game, to which Ellie will be subjected towards a decision that she'll choose, it then transitions to the main protagonist & his Hunter's raiding the town, that the Fireflies are based in...
my other interpretation that i have for Act 3 is based off of having Ellie returning the same way to Jackson & trying to reconcile with Dina & Tommy, but this time the Fireflies will raid on Jackson & are looking for the immune girl, to which Abby is either with them on the frontlines or back at the HQ of the Fireflies in the town that she's from...
I’m crying, this is BEAUTIFUL. If the third game happened like this word for word I would be satisfied
I'm glad you feel that way!
I really think Abby really was just human, and caught in the same cycle of violence as anybody else. She mirrors both Joel and Ellie, and is so much more complex than some people realize
Loved the video !! A third game would be so wonderful. And healing being the main theme would just be perfect
Totally agree, and I'm glad you enjoyed!!
This will be cannon in my head until the game comes out. Beautifully told. Love this video. Very well edited.
I appreciate that very much
I know most people hate the idea that dina would take Ellie back but I think that’s the only thing that makes sense for Dina.
Valid point!
Beautifully said! I agree 🙌🏻
We have no idea what went on in her previous relationships 😂 there’s no reason to assume things are different with Ellie especially since they were together for like a month or two
I would hate for Dinah and Ellie to get back together though. Dinah is too good for her, and Ellie got what she deserved for leaving her for revenge
True, I don't think they'd ever fully get back together tbh. Maybe just return as friends
Wouldnt say “too good” more of a, different way of living
Its like ellie is from an Action Movie, and Dinah from a Light Hearted Comedy

I get the idea the 3rd one will show their relationship on a long road to recovery and there are things that can't be taken back. But there may be a lingering love for Ellie from Dinha but she'll decide what's best of AJ
The part about Ellie carrying JJ made me pause and cry. Thank you for making this video! I enjoyed the game so much, and this is pretty much exactly how I'd want a Part III to go.

Thank you so much
This feels like a beautiful final chapter
I'm happy you feel that way
I feel like it’s worth mentioning that Abby doesn’t even know Ellie’s name. She heard it spoken once throughout her life, when Tommy told Ellie to drop the gun, but I doubt Abby would remember the name in the heat of the fight.
This story would give them plenty of time to learn her name lol.
I'm glad you enjoyed!
My thoughts exactly
*The watch ticking again really got to me. Such a great detail I think they should include. Bravo, brother*
Thank you
Yeah it’s Lovely, and it would mean the trilogy starts and ends with the same sound
Ellie and Abby teaming up is one of the worst ideas lmao
The call back to Joel carrying his daughter at the beginning of the first game is already referenced at the end of the first game, when Joel carries Ellie to safety from the hopsital. That is not to say it wouldn't work a second time.
This was such a great posible story! I really would love to see something like this on Part III. I agree, this characters deserve a good or bittersweet ending, especially Ellie. Amazing video ❤
Thank you so much
I really like the ending but I think it could be improved even.
Love this idea!
I absolutely loved the build up to Abby saving Ellie.
Thank you!
Thank you for sharing this ❤❤
Thank you so much for your kind words
@@thoughtproject I really did man!! Keep up the amazing work ❤
An neat DLC to that tale could end with Ellie and JJ, a few years later, finding an arcade cabinet that works and Ellie gets excited and encourages JJ to try it. He walks up to it and it’s Savage Starlight the game and this time, he actually gets to play a little of it while Ellie watches. (And this ends up being a teaser to ND’s next game. Might be a reach about the teaser, but would be cool to see the rest.)
That would be awesome
Abby and Ellie eventually have to talk about Abby offed Joel because Joel offed her father. I don't think Ellie knows this still yet.
She still doesn't know! We definitely need that scene
The story you've created for III is absolutely beautiful, although I feel like a main character has to die during the raid for realism
I wouldn't mind that. Thanks for your support
I'm glad you enjoyed!
I’m so surprised this only has 64 views. This is such a good video.
Thank you so much. That means a lot
Fortunately I am watching it at over 100K, so people found it
I think this sounds amazing.
Well said.
Thank you!!
a reunion in part 3 with the emotional capacity for Ellie and Abby to connect, understand each others loses is tremendous and would fit naughty dog pretty well, considering how much feelings they put in part 1 and 2
I would be interested to see how they discuss their actions and choices.
Could be interesting, but again, I feel like Ellie sacrificing herself would undermine Joel's actions in Part I.
My guy
This is why fans should not interfere with narratives, it just looks like fan fiction
I mean it is lol
I actually think Abby was molded into a pschyo by Joel's actions. You have to be psychotic to murder someone the way she did, after he saved her life, and while Ellie watched
Interesting take!
Thank you so much
I really appreciate how passionate you are about the games, I too adore these games above any other game or film franchise.
I think everyone has their own idea of how they would want part 3 to go, but I just want to say that I found some of your plot points really interesting, really good work!
Thank you so much! I appreciate you and I'm glad you enjoyed
I think a good potential for PART III having Joel as a ghost talking with Ellie through the whole story. Same concept as in Batman Arkham Knight with Joker
That'd be neat! Would love to hear some more Troy Baker lol
Could be a way Ellie copes with her grief and PTSD (like how Rick in Walking Dead talks to Lorrie on a phone after her death )
You made me cry through the traditional art of storytelling.
Thank you for watching.
Not a bad idea!
I feel like it's got the potential to go full circle and Ellie will sacrifice her life in the end to save Abby or someone else. A full redemption of her character.
It would be nice to also get some more back stories. Like tommy, maybe eugene, also dina. I know it’s a far reach but id also love to see more flashbacks with joel. may he RIP.
Let's hope!
When you did the Joel/Sarah parallel I literally got chills for a second, Neil if you’re watching this-do the right thing
this was an amazing video man your creativity and story was on another level!! I honestly would love for naughty thing to take your ideas into their own adaptation
Thank you so much!
Wow this video actually made me cry, the ending was so beautiful. Amazing writing man
The fact that you got that much out of one of my videos means a lot to me. Thanks so much
Outstanding storyline 👏 I really couldn’t get onboard with Abi at-all even to this day, but this story you’ve written would be a truly perfect way to round off a truly epic Franchise
Bravo 👏
Thank you so much!
when you said the jj thing it clicked where you were going with it and i just got chills like i would sob my way through that entire sequence
Almost got emotional just writing it. I'm glad you enjoyed
The watch starting to tick again at the end is genius. Love that part
Thank you
This was incredible.
Thank you for watching
I always thought a potential Part III couldn't be done without Ellie dying for a cure, but this redemption story you've conjured up could make this franchise one of the greatest trilogies of all time.
Good video Mr. TH-cam Guy 👍🏾
Thank you so much
In that subway on part 2, right where Dina pushes that thing down for you to climb up, there is a huge poster with a lot of stuff on it.
It's worth it. These games are incredible
Your story is literally perfect on so many levels the part with jj getting injured and on the brink of getting shot and then abby comes in clutch saving them is the best part though
I honestly think the character with the most potential for part 3 is lev, so much groundwork has been made for him that hasnt bee explored yet
FACTS
Bro, the war scene where he mentions ellie caries jj just how joel carried sarah is beautiful!
Thank you
This was an amazing premis for Part 3. Especially Ellie's forgiveness of Abby, reconciliation with Tommy, and the bit with Joel's watch, well done
Thank you
This is an insanely great video. You nailed it.
Thank you.
Exactly
Dude you just explained the perfect plot for the next game!! Amazing
Thank you so much!!
Maybe someone fixes it beforehand lol. It was just a fun thought for symbolism's sake. But I hope we see Part III.
I'm glad you enjoyed
I love this idea 🙏
Oh my god ! I literally watched this thinking that this is a spoiler. If this isn’t the story now I will be bitterly disappointed. Well done Sir you have an amazing understanding of the narrative here and have summarised it all perfectly with a great third instalment.
Thank you.
After how badly the first two games broke me emotionally, I found this oddly healing. I really hope there are some aspects of your story in the next game. It is so very much needed. I need a happy ending for Ellie, in one way or another.
I'm so glad you enjoyed
this feels like a full spoiler for the amount of effort you put into what you think happens. that watch ticking would be amazing
Thank you
A bold but possibly unlikely prediction of mine is that Ellie and Abby will get their own sides of the story again as well as a flashback story of Ellie's mother Anna and Marlene during their early days of leading the Firefly insurgency.
That would be really interesting
That’s highly unlikely and too soap opery.
14:10 "i don't think i'll ever be able to forgive you... but i'd like to try"
My thoughts exactly
This prediction gave me goosebumps and I’m just in love with it.
Wow, loved the whole interpretation of Part III. Amazing job!
Thank you!
This is the most well constructed thought process I have seen as far as a story for a third game, and you deserve mini commendations for articulating it so well, I hope this is what happens and even if it isn’t I love this as an idea, thank you.
Thank you so much
This TLOU III idea is amazing, I think it’s the best idea for part 3 I’ve heard. Also that ending is spectacular!!!
Thank you so much!!
the synopsis of your idea fully made me sob, the parallels and themes are spot on, i would 1000% play that game
That means the world
Abby is immune…..biting Ellie’s fingers off right next to a fresh clicker bite likely swallowing some of Ellie’s blood in the process that specific sequence of events makes me think she’s now immune as well and has inadvertently found how to make a cure without killing Ellie
That would be an interesting twist
This video is amazing. I’m sitting here just thinking about this story playing out, I’m actually blown away. I really do hope we can get a part 3 and something along these lines would be so perfect. This’ll forever be my favourite video game franchise.
“The only true difference between a hero and a villain, is that a hero will sacrifice you to save the world, while a villain will sacrifice the world to save you”
Love this.
Thanks now if this isn't the story I'm gonna be pissed. Amazing way to end it. Seriously I hope they see this and make it happen
I appreciate you
There is a big part of my heart that belongs to The Last of Us story/franchise and listening to your interpretation of what part three could have in store, made that part of my heart sore with happiness, longing, and hope. Thank you for that, from one fan to another.
This means a lot. Thank you for watching.
this seems like a really good story. naughty dog will handle the storytelling making us cry even more than we did in the other games.
I hope so. For good reasons only. But I'm glad you enjoyed
No doubt!
Me too!
i love how grounded in reality you are.
Common the last of us 2 fan L
Abby killing Ellie? That would probably be the most unsatisfying ending possible
Bravo.
Couldn't agree more. Thank you for your support
I actually tossed this idea back and forth as I was writing it. The way you explain it, I wouldn't mind Tommy stepping in to save her!
That's a beautiful story and I genuinely hope whatever Part III ends up being resembles even %10 of what you've presented us. There's a lot of fantastic ideas, themes, and setups in what you've come up with.
Thank you so much
Pt 3 will begin with Abby and Lev finding the fireflies who are in contact with a firefly cell from South America who has the oriiginal Patient 0 who is infected and contagious but not turned or growing fungus from their body.
Good ideas
Dang that’d be an awesome storyline as well
omg this would be an incredible storyline. I would play this storyline until the cows come home.
@@thoughtproject don't know how parasites can come to the mix,it would be too wild,I would really like to see it in terms of gameplay but it just doesn't fit in with the universe of the last of us
This was damn good we gotta share this and make this be part 3 !!!!😂
Thank you!!
I like your ideas as well! Thanks for the support!
I love the watch ending, I genuinely think that could be the ending to part 3. Would be the perfect way to tie the beginning of the entire story to the end of it
That means a lot
Wow the full circle story ending would be perfect. Great job bro
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it!
That's also a really good idea!
i like the idea of Ellie being in her mid thirties since it would feel like we are growing up with Ellie too.
Ellie and deana’s child also proves immune with the fireflies desperately trying to find him.
It's so nice to hear from someone who actually cares for Abby, because god do I fucking love her character. I NEED to know what happened to her after the events of the second game.
THANK YOU. She is way too over-hated.
How the hell can you love Abby holy shit, shes not only extremely poorly written, shes also the killer of Joel 🤦♂️
