Aaron really is a class act. Amazing player, writer, teacher, and person. Everytime I've met him has been a pleasure. Proud to own his signature model!
Use headphones when you watch this. That guitar tone is so rich. They mixed this live stream really well. Holy crap, it's like I'm actually there. I can hear the panning.
I only found out about Aaron Marshall like 2 years ago maybe. He’s one of the best personal discoveries I’ve made musically in that time. Amazing musician, extremely well spoken, humble, and knowledgeable. I could listen to Aaron all day be it playing or talking music. So glad I exist in the same era as him!
new timelapse (but remember, listen to the whole thing would grant you a more valuable lesson) Mnemonic 6:25 Luna[r]tic 27:22 Leave No Stone 59:44 String Theory 1:21:55
I really appreciate Aaron's deeply thoughtful introspective approach and the way that he shares such personal insights and tricks to help other musicians instead of hiding it and bottling it in selfishly. Really does stand out that he treats this like art and not a sport. A new fan was gained with this video!
Thank you Guitar Center for making this available to the internet! So grateful! So much valuable info. As a DnB fan, that hint that Aaron dropped about the collab has me SO hype for this new album.
@@andyhtfc632 yess I commented before getting to Leave no Stone lol... Still, not many mistakes for songs this hard and with so many notes. I'm amazed by his memory also
@@Luismayer77 i mean not trying to throw hate or anything but my dude must play the same songs so many times that at this point really he might play them blindfolded
Saw em in Grand Rapids. Show was off the friggin hook...!! I went for both Intervals n Tesseract. Both were fantastic. But I've been jammin Intervals, pretty much nonstop since the show... Thr amazingly addicting...
I JUST discovered Intervals, and as a big Polyphia fan, I LOVE what Aaron is doing musically with Intervals. Can't wait to disappoint myself with learning Mnemonic.
I’ve also only recently found them thanks to Spotify auto playing after Polyphia and have no idea how I’ve missed out on Intervals. It’s been an awesome treat to be able to work through an entire discography for the first time in a long time.
Thank you so much for sharing this online, being in Europe we never get the chance to go to one of these masterclasses (or even see Intervals live lately!)
I think i can cover LUNAR(R)TIC, if there is a perfect time to listen that song really focus i will definitely cover the song, its more likely better if you have the entire crew. you did great dude! absolutely fascinating!
I wish I could have seen Him and especially Tesseract but they were in San Francisco and I won't go near that hell hole. Next time play in Santa Cruz or San Jose.
Aaron is such a talented and underrated guitarist. It's been amazing to see how Intervals has grown and evolved their music. Mnemonic is such a huge track, can't wait for the album.
@@theders8590the quad must’ve been great if he used it for several yrs. He’s overly technical but someone told me he still uses it. I think he went back to fractal due to the endorsement. The quad is great though. I think players get used to certain gear as well. I have the quad and it is great but I also love my amps and pedals. I want to enjoy them. So they get used a lot.
@@memocayuna haven't yet. Thanks for the answer. First noticed the guitar being played by Joseph andwar from Portraits. American made, so it'll be expensive when it releases haha.
These first few comments are the exact same comments I saw on another channel. Anyway, Aaron is an amazing guitartist and song writer. However, I wish all the LIVE sound wasn't automated. I do feel like it is cheating.
Whoever asked him about his Fractal tones...you're the true hero.
Ikrrr that's the real stuff we need to know
timestamps??
Really wish I understood how fractal tones work. Seems way too complicated though, kinda like avoiding a Floyd rose because I don’t understand them
@@ShaneStoneOfficialFloyd’s are easy.
Step one… buy a guitar with a hardtail.

The Chorus in the mix is so detailed in Leave no Stone Patch, it sounds like a little wah but at the same time its so clean...
Those USA models look perfect.

Wodering what is the first guitar he's holding. Some custom shop from schecter?
An American version of his signature, he designed the pickups in it.
Master Marshall.
Is this the dude that does all the intros for the Japanese animation shows on Netflix? He's a really good guitar player no doubt about that!

hahah the Friends line right there🥲

What Schecter is he using when he started the clinic? It is not one of his new signature models, I cant find it anywhere online. Help?
Bump.
Yet to be released, USA model… he talks about it around 1:10:00
That first song was the musical equivalent of a Zack Snyder movie.
When is his USA model coming out?
How long before you realized he was playing Happy Birthday in Cminor?
I wonder made him use an Axe FX instead of the Quad Cortex like he's been using.
he’s endorsed by fractal?
