One of the few instrumentalists left that can really captivate me melodically, not resorting to rhythmic usually generic stuff to get me into it (not that I don’t love both)
For me, Plini, Intervals, Animals as Leaders and Arch Echo are ruling the prog instrumental scene right now

They got Jacob to finally play on record too, before Aaron said he did both bass and guitars and bass definitely stands out more now. Not the biggest fan of the plugins for recording but I understand why a full rig might be more convenient.

It's so incredible to see you're still doing your thing. You are the reason I've overcame my fear of starting an instrumental solo-project. There's a looong way ahead til I'll be near where you are now (and I doubt to ever become so good at guitar 😅) but damn, writing and releasing my own music independendly was and is the most joyful thing ever. Dude, the music you guys make is phenomenal. Cannot stop listening. Going back an forth between current and old albums and love them all equally as much. Best song imo is slight of hand. It just has the most amazing flow. You guys really know how to make music interesting!

It's funny that the bassist's engineer has better monitors/monitor stands than the album producer/engineer does. Especially when he has the non studio NS10's where you have to put a paper towel over the tweeters to get rid of that ear piercing overtones that has, which is why they made the horizontal NS10MS's. That little s you see doesn't indicate a plural set of speakers, it's short for STUDIO version of NS10's. That would worry the shit outta me! Good luck guys! Oooo that drum engineer has a wicked awesome room setup! It's very nice! Glad you did drums there! Smart choice!

Aaron, I am a big fan of yours and although I wasn't the biggest fan of your last album, the fact that you really want to change your sound is very exciting. You're so talented and I think doing something that's more "you" as opposed to what the other similar instrumental bands are doing is awesome. Pumped for this!!

So darn EPIC!! To be honest, I didn´t see how you would or could evolve from your last two albums which were absolutely, insanely good!! Seems like you really are breaking some new grounds here after this vid and the INCREDIBLE single. Now I just don´t know how to cope with this seemingly incredible upcoming album, Arch Echo dropping a new EP next week with a banger of a single, Sordid Pink releasing a new album, David Maxim Micic also working on more Bilo-stuff, and Plini being just around the corner himself with a new album. Yeah, 2020 sucked up until this point, but to be honest, this might be THE YEAR musically, and all within just a couple of weeks. Thanks for bringing LIGHT into this shit year with amazing music, much love!!
