Hello mate, nice video, well explained. I will need to replace my right caliper so I needed this. Thing is, I recently replaced my rear brake pads, is it possible to replace the caliper without replacing the pads also?
You're right,you can remove the power unit then there is a T40 (?) that you screw clockwise til it stops,then push the piston in. You can also use a 9v battery and 2 cabels 👍 Only i think you should do it on both sides to avoid uneven brake performence,with scanner both calipers gets calibrated evenly 👍
Du kan skruva loss motorn,skruva tillbaka "mekanismen"i oket,tryck tillbaka kolven,på med nya motorn. Jag skulle skruva tillbaka och pressa in kolven på andra sidan åxå för att vara säker på jämn bromsverkan. Sedan pumpa bromsen för att få kolvarna att komma ut,sedan aktivera handbromsen och släpp 2-3 ggr. Hoppas du förstår hur jag menar...jag å förklara 🤭 //Fredde

Jag behöver byta parkeringsbromsmotorn. Måste jag också "återställa" parkeringsbromsen? Finns det något annat utöver det som jag behöver tänka på?
