Thanks to Perfect Homes for sponsoring Jon's real estate tours. Perfect Homes and Jon are furnishing a lot of good and useful information for Chaing Mai residents and visitors. I think the videos are reaching the expat community very well, and I think the locals and Thailand residents will benefit when they learn the tours exist. It is useful to learn about and consider the many different areas in Chaing Mai. Up to now i had only a few in mind, but now my universe of possibilities is much greater. Suggestion: identify whether the main windows get East or West exposure for waking and afternoon shade considerations
Thanks mate, ah yeah that's a good idea re direction of the windows :)
$58k... What would that place rent for? $400/mo? Probably less. You could invest that $58k and pay for the rent with the return on investment instead and not have the other upkeep costs, be liquid, and not have to worry about the necessities of owning property under Thai law. That being said I like the apartment.
Exactly!!!
Yeah maybe, what could someone invest in in Thailand though that would give them the return?
@@JonInChiangMai The S&P500 averages over 10%/yr (ETFs like FXAIX). High yield savings is getting around 5% right now.
@@NetBandit70forget the S & P, Nasdaq scam club…. It will soon be crashing / correcting…. however 5% plus on cash is a safe bet for a small amount like $58k
@@NetBandit70 yeah but these are US based, I personally don't have a way to invest in these, would also prefer not to touch anything from the US/West as a whole
Reasonably priced❤
Yeah not bad at all!
Quite nice. I especially liked the large windows in the bedroom. By dollars do you mean Australian, Canadian, or American dollars??? For myself I would want something a little more luxurious - probably with a pool ... but then again my budget would be at least two times and more realistically three times that amount.
Hmmm this one ?? 😉 Thanks for another tour though! Always enjoy your videos!!
Thanks mate!
Very good price
Dude, you can leave the helmet on your motorbike, it's not the UK there. 😅
I wouldn't...He is carrying an Arai helmet trust me it can & would get taken. You should see how many "Good" helmets get taken at Airport Mall...Even when locked they don't mind cutting the strap 😉
Yeah as Mike said, this helmet is not cheap :)
Thats a nice little place, like the layout. How far from a fitness center or grocery store?
Not too far, maybe a 10 minute walk you'll find both :)
It seems this condo and Sutep Road run past the University area. This area interests me because I have always thought there may be work possibilities nearby for those with suitable degrees.
Yeah close to the university here :)
Bathrooms should not be located next to the kitchen.
First and foremost, leave your helmet on your bike. No one steals helmets in CM
Mine was taken at Maya mall 😢
I'm not going to leave a 15k baht helmet on the bike :)
@@JonInChiangMai 15k! Thats more than most peoples bikes are worth :D
